Van tevoren twijfelden we over deze locatie door de velen reviews. Onze ervaring is dat de locatie niet vervelend is. Ja, er zijn daklozen en mensen op straat, maar van hen heb je geen last zo lang je hen ook gewoon met rust laat. Persoonlijk vond ik het fijn dat we met zijn tweeën waren. Het ontbijt is oke en daar is het ook mee gezegd. De roomservice was helemaal top, niks op aan te merken. Zelf zouden wij niet opnieuw dit hotel kiezen, er zijn namelijk leukere en fijnere hotels te vinden voor dezelfde prijs, bijvoorbeeld in de wijken rondom het akropolismuseum.

Das Frühstück war frisch und sofern etwas fehlte, dann wurde es spätestens auf Nachfrage ergänzt. Die wenigen Haken im Bad unserer Suite haben wir mit unseren Saugnapfhaken vom Segeln ergänzt. Das Hotel liegt leider in der Nähe vom Drogenviertel, aber auch von einer Polizeistation. Das Sicherheitsgefühl mag somit mit Blick auf das Drogenviertel trügen, aber wenn man einige Kleinigkeiten beachtet, dann kann man das Hotel gut als Ausgangspunkt für seine Stadterkundungen buchen. Wir haben alle Wege zu Fuß zurückgelegt und wir empfehlen, den Weg aus dem Hotel raus nach links und nicht nach rechts zu wählen. Man sieht auch dann Drogenspritzen auf den Wegen sowie vereinzelte Drogenabhängige, aber wir wurden von diesen zu keiner Zeit - weder am Tage noch Nachts - angesprochen. In der fußläufigen Umgebung (ca. 15-20 Minuten) gibt es auch einige sehr gute kleine Restaurants (z. B. Atitamos, Enastron).

Very clean and staff was mostly friendly. Staff in restaurant and bar were very good. Front desk too. Temperature control was the main problem I had. I could never correctly manage the temperature from my room. I had to call the front desk. of course they took are of it, but during the night I would wake up with a hot room. Not a good way to manage the temperature

Ik vond het hotel super. Alleen hadden wij een 3 persoonskamer maar er waren van alles maar 2,zoals glazen tandenborstels enzo.we hadden ook het idee dat we een beetje in de achterbuurt zaten. Verder was het personeel super aardig en de kamer was top. Eten was lekker maar daar is ook alles wel mee gezegd

We stayed here overnight after our flight was cancelled. As many have said the area is sketchy, but no different than any other city area. The hotel itself was clean, the staff were super friendly and the attached restaurant was very convenient.

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel I stayed at this hotel for four days during Easter and was very disappointed. Although advertised as a 4-star hotel, it hardly deserves 2 stars in my opinion. The location is one of the worst in Athens (Omonia area), a very deprived neighborhood with many drug users around. Walking past them with my family, I did not feel safe at all. The room was basic and lacked even simple amenities like a kettle or tea/coffee, which I would expect from a 4-star hotel. The shower area appeared to have had some maintenance work but was not properly cleaned, and the soap dispenser was empty. Breakfast was very average. In the name of orange juice, they served concentrated squash, which was very disappointing. The only positive aspect was the staff – they were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will never book this hotel again.

This is a great place to stay, very clean, modern, staff are super awesome and friendly. Breakfast could be a bit better, but it's ok. The area is not super posh, kinda not clean, and homeless people at night BUT very safe to walk around, and easy access to the main touristic areas. There's a police station very close as well, and a bunch of hotels around as well, so no biggie If you are not that picky with that.

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel I stayed at this hotel for four days during Easter and was very disappointed. Although advertised as a 4-star hotel, it hardly deserves 2 stars in my opinion. The location is one of the worst in Athens (Omonia area), a very deprived neighborhood with many drug users around. Walking past them with my family, I did not feel safe at all. The room was basic and lacked even simple amenities like a kettle or tea/coffee, which I would expect from a 4-star hotel. The shower area appeared to have had some maintenance work but was not properly cleaned, and the soap dispenser was empty. Breakfast was very average. In the name of orange juice, they served concentrated squash, which was very disappointing. The only positive aspect was the staff – they were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will never book this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious enough for 4 people. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The staff were very helful and accommodating. 15 minute walk to Monastariki square.

The Hotel itself is very nice. Service was great and breakfast was good also. It was 5min walk from subway to get around and to all the tourists' areas, but the streets themselves were a little rough. Especially at night. There were quite a bit of transients and homeless. I'm a guy and felt comfortable enough to walk alone but for women and children I personally wouldn't recommend it to walk at night. Rooms and service were great enough to rate it 5 stars.

There are many restaurants, including a very nice bakery on the same street as the hotel and more in Omonoia Square which is about a 5 min walk.

Van tevoren twijfelden we over deze locatie door de velen reviews. Onze ervaring is dat de locatie niet vervelend is. Ja, er zijn daklozen en mensen op straat, maar van hen heb je geen last zo lang je hen ook gewoon met rust laat. Persoonlijk vond ik het fijn dat we met zijn tweeën waren. Het ontbijt is oke en daar is het ook mee gezegd. De roomservice was helemaal top, niks op aan te merken. Zelf zouden wij niet opnieuw dit hotel kiezen, er zijn namelijk leukere en fijnere hotels te vinden voor dezelfde prijs, bijvoorbeeld in de wijken rondom het akropolismuseum.

The hotel staff were friendly, and welcoming. The room was reasonably clean,I would rate the cleanliness 4 out of 5. However, the hotel’s location was a major downside. The neighborhoods around Omonoia are not the best or safest areas to stay, especially for first time visitors to Athens. I would recommend choosing accommodation in a different neighborhood if you are visiting the city for the first time. Another disappointment was that no drinks were served in the hotel lobby. If you need something as simple as hot water in the evening, you won’t be able to get it because the hotel café closes, and there is no kettle in the rooms. Unfortunately, the staff were not able to help me with this. The breakfast was also very limited and disappointing. It was definitely not what I would expect from a high ranked hotel.

The neighborhoods around Omonoia are not the best or safest areas to stay, especially for first time visitors to Athens. I would recommend choosing accommodation in a different neighborhood if you are visiting the city for the first time. Another disappointment was that no drinks were served in the hotel lobby. If you need something as simple as hot water in the evening, you won’t be able to get it because the hotel café closes, and there is no kettle in the rooms. Unfortunately, the staff were not able to help me with this. The breakfast was also very limited and disappointing. It was definitely not what I would expect from a high ranked hotel.

This hotel is nice but does need a little bit of attention to certain areas, our shower worked with the hand held part but the rose part was missing, my sister's shower didn't work tho she did get another room when she complained. The staff were lovely and the cleaner works hard.
