Very near to Asakusa station and shrine and also to the Skytree tower and river. Very silent neighborhood. We stayed in a very large room. Japanese style, which was very comfortable. Negative: No elevator. Even we had a room on the 1st floor it was hard to carry our large luggage over the stairs. Also, breakfast was no breakfast. You got only a plan bagel or a thick piece of sweet bread. Nothing else. There was a water boiler in the room to make coffee or tea, but there were no cups and also no glasses for water or softdrink. Staff was not present, but replying on emails was very fast.

Check-in procedure was unique and efficient. Laundry services were inadequate - limited washing machines and dryer which was inefficient in drying the clothes.

価格も安く部屋も綺麗で2段ベットがあり子供達も喜んでおり大満足でした。靴を脱がないと部屋に行けないこと、喫煙スペースは3階のテラスと見たが実際はそこでは喫煙できなかった。そこだけが残念でした。

The room was very small but we only used it to spend the nights. It was good for the price. No elevator so be ready to carry your bags and leave your shoes in a communal area. The windows do not open so no fresh air. We enjoyed the shower and the morning bread provided. We did not use the microwave as we enjoyed the local restaurants that are within walking distance. We took the bus that passed near the hotel to teamlabs planet. The train station is also nearby but the bus let us view more of the city. Overall, we enjoy that the hotel is budget friendly.

O hotel fica bem localizado em Asakusa, porém o quarto é muito pequeno, não tem nenhum tipo de ventilação e ainda é todo no carpete, terrível para quem tem problema respiratório. Não tem limpeza no quarto e você mesmo quem recolhe o lixo, ou seja, todo o período da hospedagem será sem limpeza. Passamos cinco noites e isso não foi agradável. Também não há troca de toalhas, lençol e nem reposição de material de limpeza. Inclusive o vaso sanitário estava sujo quando chegamos. O café da manhã é sempre pão seco com café. A cozinha compartilhada, o guarda malas gratuito e a lavadora e secadora (pagos) ajudam na hospedagem.

what we liked: cleanliness, friendly staff who is responsive to emails (the only way to contact them if you need exchange your towels for new ones) although they're not on site, working AC in good condition, in quiet neighborhood although 17min from Asakusa station, close to SkyTree tower, plenty of room, lobby with kitchenet with microwave, toaster, waterboiler, utensils, plates, and laundry (we didnt use this; cant comment on its condition), we utilized the dining tables few nights which were very helpful. what we didn't like: bit walking to stations but doable unless you're with small children, breakfast is just some thick slices of breads with butter and sugar - if this information was available prior to booking our stay, we'd have stayed else where because we were looking for a place with descent breakfast not some slices of bread with instant coffees. they didn't clean rooms and or changed bed sheets even though we stayed 4 nights. i wish this information were available on hotels.com

只2024/08/04~2024/08/08入住，除了離各線路淺草站遠了點~說真的還滿遠的。其他，如環境整潔、簡單廚房社施(如烤麵包機、煮水壺、儲物櫃、自動販賣機、洗衣機與乾衣機…等設施尚稱完備。當然，多數大的設施需要投幣付費。洗澡水量相當有感、衛浴乾濕分離且浴廁獨立，可免除等人如廁煩腦。盥洗設備也稱完善，洗髮精、沐浴乳、護髮乳、洗手乳、日常用備品與吹風機全都一應俱全。入住期間，因不會幫忙整理房間，垃圾當然得要自己分類、拎到房門外丟棄。房間不算大，但整體清潔程度可以。最大有感的缺點，可能因是木板隔間，隔音實在有夠差，常被隔壁或上一樓層跳床聲響吵醒。每人每晚約美金$30元，說真的實難苛責。

The property was unsafe. The top bunk bed had 2 thin mattress with one being too long overhanging over the ladder so unsafe to climb up and down for my child. The tatami bed was falling apart. The sofa bed had springs exposed and was uneven. The whole room smelt so bad of mould. Also found cockroaches. We had no replacement towels for over a week and only got new ones because we contacted them. Breakfast was just a piece of bread. Would not recommend this place

We loved the proximity to Senso-ji Temple and Skytree. Easy to travel to other areas of Tokyo including Ueno, Shibuya and Odaiba. Convenient for Narita Airport. Hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay at Playsis Asakusa again!

The room was very stuffy and not pleasant to stay in. The beds were extremely hard and you could feel the springs through. The breakfast was very disappointing. 3 slices of 3-4 cm thick bread and that was it. There was no cutlery, so we had to go out and buy it ourselves. Can only be used for a single night.

家族で宿泊しました。 狭いかな?と心配していましたが 清潔に整えられていて 過ごしやすかったです。 トイレ、シャワーもついていて いい感じでした。 唯一、机がないので食事等は戸惑いました。 小さい片付けられるような座卓があると便利だなと思いました。 基本的には大満足です。 ありがとうございました😊

Property is very well located and was very clean. Accessible room is very small and impossible to get around past the beds even for a small manual wheelchair. Bathroom was also small but quite usable. No front desk or reception staff at the hotel. All self service with online check in (via camera at the property)

Playsis Asakusa was a great option for our group of 6. It was a tight squeeze and in hindsight I should have just booked two rooms. But I was trying to save money and there were 5 adults and 1 child. The family room is definitely too crowded for 5 adults. There wasn’t enough space to put our luggage and one bathroom wasn’t enough! The bathroom only has a curtain for privacy. When the neighbors upstairs were jumping and running and screaming until 2am, I complained. The next day, each customer had a sign on their door with a warning about noise. I thought that was very receptive and I really appreciated it because it made all the difference in the noise. The check-in process is strange. We waited for someone to come online and that person had no information specific to the hotel because it seemed they were in a different country or somewhere far away.

The room was supposed to be Barrier Free (Accessible) but a small manual wheelchair did not fit between the couch and the wall or the end of the bed and the wall so I could not access even the side of one of the beds without moving furniture. The room is too small for a wheelchair as is the bathroom. The "Roll in shower" and the toilet had a 50mm step and were very difficult to use for a full time wheelchair user, even with doors open. This room may be ok for able bodied people but cannot be considered an Accessible or Barrier Free room.

가격이 저렴해서 큰 기대는 없었습니다. 역과의 거리가 좀 있습니다. 가족과의 여행이라면 조금 불편한 부분들도 있을것같습니다. 호텔이라기 보다는 게스트하우스의 느낌이 강했습니다. 동성의 친구들끼리 단순히 잠만 자기에는 전혀 문제가 없는 숙소라고 생각합니다. 비대면 체크인시 음성이 잘 들리지 않습니다. 귀를 가져다 대야 하는 수준이였습니다. 수정이 필요합니다.

非対面式でチェックインの仕方もわかりやすく助かりました。 旅行前の施設の疑問点など問い合わせをしたときも素早い対応をしていただきました。 必要最低限の設備ですが寝るだけですし、家族6人で安価で宿泊できたので十分でした。

Property is very well located and was very clean. Accessible room is very small and impossible to get around past the beds even for a small manual wheelchair. Bathroom was also small but quite usable. No front desk or reception staff at the hotel. All self service with online check in (via camera at the property)

Playsis Asakusa was a great option for our group of 6. It was a tight squeeze and in hindsight I should have just booked two rooms. But I was trying to save money and there were 5 adults and 1 child. The family room is definitely too crowded for 5 adults. There wasn’t enough space to put our luggage and one bathroom wasn’t enough! The bathroom only has a curtain for privacy. When the neighbors upstairs were jumping and running and screaming until 2am, I complained. The next day, each customer had a sign on their door with a warning about noise. I thought that was very receptive and I really appreciated it because it made all the difference in the noise. The check-in process is strange. We waited for someone to come online and that person had no information specific to the hotel because it seemed they were in a different country or somewhere far away.

The staff never helpful, supposedly need a room where 5 people can stay, the staff said, cannot help you you cancel this one then go back to expedia and book another, which i did, expedia said playsis is all taken i am GLAD i didn’t cancel my booking at playsis, 5th friend decided to leave… Staff never offer anything or recommend another hotel, staff needs to know to suggest or recommend something during this critical period

what we liked: cleanliness, friendly staff who is responsive to emails (the only way to contact them if you need exchange your towels for new ones) although they're not on site, working AC in good condition, in quiet neighborhood although 17min from Asakusa station, close to SkyTree tower, plenty of room, lobby with kitchenet with microwave, toaster, waterboiler, utensils, plates, and laundry (we didnt use this; cant comment on its condition), we utilized the dining tables few nights which were very helpful. what we didn't like: bit walking to stations but doable unless you're with small children, breakfast is just some thick slices of breads with butter and sugar - if this information was available prior to booking our stay, we'd have stayed else where because we were looking for a place with descent breakfast not some slices of bread with instant coffees. they didn't clean rooms and or changed bed sheets even though we stayed 4 nights. i wish this information were available on hotels.com

Proprietor was very helpful. 2 of our luggage did not arrive from our Delta flight and Mr. Tanaka took over receiving the delivery the next day while we were touring Tokyo. He was quick to inform, to respond to our enquiries and questions. The hotel is clean. Sufficient amenities for tourist traveller, very ideal for family. Safe area, walking distance to train station. Very close to tourist area. Lots of walking distance to great affordable eats. Highly recommend! If we vist Japan again, will definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends👍👍👍

Very near to Asakusa station and shrine and also to the Skytree tower and river. Very silent neighborhood. We stayed in a very large room. Japanese style, which was very comfortable. Negative: No elevator. Even we had a room on the 1st floor it was hard to carry our large luggage over the stairs. Also, breakfast was no breakfast. You got only a plan bagel or a thick piece of sweet bread. Nothing else. There was a water boiler in the room to make coffee or tea, but there were no cups and also no glasses for water or softdrink. Staff was not present, but replying on emails was very fast.

住宅地の中にあるが5分ほど歩けばコンビニはある。浅草までは徒歩10〜15分くらいで、周辺に飲食店は無いので、浅草方面まで行きました。 コスパはいいと思います！

We loved the proximity to Senso-ji Temple and Skytree. Easy to travel to other areas of Tokyo including Ueno, Shibuya and Odaiba. Convenient for Narita Airport. Hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay at Playsis Asakusa again!

The room was very stuffy and not pleasant to stay in. The beds were extremely hard and you could feel the springs through. The breakfast was very disappointing. 3 slices of 3-4 cm thick bread and that was it. There was no cutlery, so we had to go out and buy it ourselves. Can only be used for a single night.

Overall the property is good. There is no house keeping but they provide you fresh towels and garbage bags (you change yourself) and tissues. It is nice that they provide simple breakfast, a slice of bread per day with tea & coffee but imagine if you stay there for a week and each day it s a bread. We had them because we didn’t want to waste. But we saw ppl saying they didn’t want or they left early before breakfast, quite some breads would go wasted. Please consider different breakfast options and not bread everyday.

酒店地點很近淺草站及兩大景點,購物消費飲食均方便,旺中帶靜,但是床墊是很爛的,露台設備没有清洗乾淨吊床發霉的,早餐每天都是方包一件不太理想,總結下次來日本會訂APA酒店,不會回頭了😔

Located in a quiet area, fairly convenient to trains, markets and restaurants. Main complaint was that our room smelled funky especially the bathroom. Also, we were excited about a rooftop as an option to hang out and eat since our room was small with no table, but it had no view and poor seating, plus it's literally right next to a guest room window and we didn't want to be too loud.

The comforters or blankets only 1.7 meters long which can not cover the whole body Feet sticking out during night when sleeping The tatami was totally ripped and stained No coffee maker inside room No washroom door that you can lock while inside shower although there is a shower door. But sink was out side. Combination shower and sink.
