Excellent location. Very close to Taj Mahal. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Their travel desk is amazing. Particularly impressed by the services provided by Mr Lavi. He arranged for our to and fro travel from Delhi, organized a tour guide for Taj Mahal. All with several schedule changes. Other staff was also very nice. Their rooftop pool is great. Has direct view of the Taj Mahal, which is pretty cool. The property however is need of some renovation.

Infinity pool at the top, programs by Subroto, morning buffet breakfast, lounge area and overall behavior and friendliness of all the employees were brilliant! didnt like- playroom area, few stuffs were outdated and while we were checking in we had to wait for over 15mins before someone entertained us.

It’s near to Taj Mahal East gate. Best part is roof top infinity pool. I also loved life flute performance during breakfast.

This is a disaster hotel. The rooms are nice and clean but everything else is a disaster. The staff seems not to care about the guests at all. The pool area has 5 sun beds for all guests to share. The staff at the rooftop restaurant just lets dirty dishes left all day. There is no service. They forgot to buy our tickets and arrange our driver to the Taj Mahal. Nothing works but the rooms. It clearly needs management. On checkout a long line of guests formed - and everybody was unhappy.

The property was good. Kids area was under maintenance so that was a bummer. Breakfast was good, with variety of options, however there was huge rush, and service to deliver live good was not good enough. There was a lot of waiting, or food was delivered to the table cold. The dinner on the other hand was very good and served hot. The infinity pool is awesome, really had good time with my family.

This was a terribly disappointing stay at The Taj Agra. Our rooms and the general hotel upkeep was disappointing. Many dirty areas.. the shower was mouldy and dirty grouting. The maintenance is poor. I would not rate this a 5 star hotel. We had booked 3 rooms and each guest had the same opinion. Disappointed at the Taj Brand

The room was not very clean. The carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years in our room. There were wall tiles made of cloth that were simply nailed back onto the wall as opposed to pulling them. It lookedshabby given the name brand. Breakfast was satisfactory and well worth it if you booked it in advance on a website, especially for a whole family. Pool on the roof looked quite nice. We only spend one night and wasn't overly impressed by the hotel. Staff did not seem to engaged. All in all if you get a super great deal for this hotel and you're just staying one night to see the Taj, it's fine. Don't have to high expectations given quality and luxury that the brand is known for.

When we checked into this Taj hotel we did not receive a clean room. I expressed this to the staff at breakfast and they went above and beyond to the point that they gave me an upgraded different room. I was appreciative of this gesture and it made us feel very welcome. Breakfast at this hotel is excellent - it is a must to include in your booking. Thank you Yogesh and Mayank for turning our experience around.

Ground floor ambience is spacious and welcoming. They surprised us with white chocolate version of Taj Mahal replica. Gym is spacious and nice. Several restaurant options. On the cons side, floor hallway carpets were dirty and need professional cleaning. Room carpet area was dirty and needs cleaning as well. Shower drain was clogged. Overall, the Taj at Agra came across as a 3-star for its cleanliness and dated bathrooms.

Excellent food and staff service however Bed comfort was a bit poor. One of my mattresses had a huge sink in the middle making for a very difficult night rest. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more and at least more than 1 large towel and more than two small ones. Toilet paper and amenities were at a minimum also. Very convenient for a quick trip to Taj Mahal . Lots for kids to do and enjoy like the play room, puppet show, clay and pottery. Electricity and power went a few times but not a major concern. The rooms need to be refreshed a bit more as the carpets are visibly stained and walls. All in all it was a mix but not concerning enough to not choose the hotel for my next stay. Look forward to staying here in the future as I know the staff are dedicated to providing a good experience with older facilities.

Lovely hotel. Was few things broken in the room (kettle didn't work, light didn't switch off) and it took forever to get someone to come and address it. But the room was lovely, bed clean and comfortable and the shower enormous with fantastic pressure!

Loved our stay here. Really enjoyed the rooftop pool area. Room was nice and spacious. Very clean. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast buffet was great. Not far for Taj Mahal. Could walk or few minutes in Tuk Tuk.

Unable to sleep good due to a lot of different noises. I think the location of the room was not adequate, was right next to the restaurant. And sometime around 3 in the morning very loud music playing.

Room was disappointing and unusual for the Brand. The room smelled like old tobacco, very musty. I understand that the facility is being renovated, so would expect the usual Taj excellence to be restored soon.

The room was the very luxurious and spacious. It was the best part of our stay. This is a big impersonal hotel that caters for many guest staying at the same time. As such, it lacks the personal caring service we received from other Taj Hotels. Some of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. That said, some staff were very friendly and helpful. So, there is poor consistence of service. I couldn't help feel that any offer of help was motivated for the tip rather than a genuine desire to help. The gym is well equipped but a number of the exercise machines were faulty or not working.

Excellent food and staff service however Bed comfort was a bit poor. One of my mattresses had a huge sink in the middle making for a very difficult night rest. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more and at least more than 1 large towel and more than two small ones. Toilet paper and amenities were at a minimum also. Very convenient for a quick trip to Taj Mahal . Lots for kids to do and enjoy like the play room, puppet show, clay and pottery. Electricity and power went a few times but not a major concern. The rooms need to be refreshed a bit more as the carpets are visibly stained and walls. All in all it was a mix but not concerning enough to not choose the hotel for my next stay. Look forward to staying here in the future as I know the staff are dedicated to providing a good experience with older facilities.

Got overwhelmed with 'Namastes' from hotel staff at every corner of the hotel. Coordination between various restaurants at the hotel and the front desk billing appeared broken - poor tracking and double billing issues. Inexperienced staff. Only Namastes, no valuable service. The room was the very luxurious and spacious. It was the best part of our stay. This is a big impersonal hotel that caters for many guest staying at the same time. As such, it lacks the personal caring service we received from other Taj Hotels. Some of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. That said, some staff were very friendly and helpful. So, there is poor consistence of service. I couldn't help feel that any offer of help was motivated for the tip rather than a genuine desire to help. The gym is well equipped but a number of the exercise machines were faulty or not working.

When we checked into this Taj hotel we did not receive a clean room. I expressed this to the staff at breakfast and they went above and beyond to the point that they gave me an upgraded different room. I was appreciative of this gesture and it made us feel very welcome. Breakfast at this hotel is excellent - it is a must to include in your booking. Thank you Yogesh and Mayank for turning our experience around.

Lovely hotel, great room. The chef in the multi cuisine restaurant was very attentive to the fact that our son had a severe nut and sesame allergy which was very reassuring. The bar/restaurant on the roof was not busy but the staff weren’t very attentive either. Maybe it was due to the wet weather but certainly there was a difference between the two restaurants. We did not end up eating on the roof terrace as a result. Overall it’s a lovely hotel and the staff are wonderful.

If I was rating as a 4 star I’d give 4 out of 5 - breakfast was poor, little choice for those who don’t want spicy food for breakfast and nigh on impossible to get a pot of breakfasr tea, you need to find a suited manager to actually achieve this as no self vends apart from one dispenser of chai. The Infiniti bar/restaurant was good and best part about the hotel albeit pool itself freezing. Check in was efficient enough but more suited to delegates at a mass convention, which is the general ambience of hotel rather than a tourist 5 star. No problems with staff however

The room was very comfortable as good as any 5 star hotel. Disappointment was the buffet breakfast and dinner. It comes as part of the package however the options were very very limited. 1 mutton dish, 1 chicken dish and the remainder was vegetarian. I would rate the buffet as poor. Being part of the package does not make it free. We pay for it and expect quality. Disappointing for Taj group.

We asked for a quiet room and were given a room near their maintenance room. On our first day, the hallway smelled like old foods as there were a pile of unwashed dishes outside the maintenance room from afternoon till after dinner. Our shower drain stopped working in the middle of taking a shower. I had to turn off the shower and wait for the maintenance guy for 25 minutes to come and fix it. For a prestigious brand like the Taj, these rooms desperately need a thorough refurbishment. I remain a loyal Taj guest, but I hope steps are taken to ensure consistent standards in the future.
