Stay Plus Extended Stay of Statesboro

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The rooms appeared fine at first glance but then the bugs appeared. Roaches. And not just our room. Three different rooms. The amount of dirt along the baseboards was nasty. The staff was gone by the time we noticed and still not there when we had to go. Rooms in the whole town were sold out because of graduation so we didn’t have a choice but to stay. Never again will I stay at this establishment. I will think twice about using hotels.com if this is the type of place you represent. Disgusting.

The hotel's installation was good but the attention was bad. Insufficient staff for cleaning. We stayed 4 days and they never cleaned the room.

Stayed here 2 nights… while the room was ok, I would not stay here again. I realize this is an “extended stay” hotel but it appears that there are several people that live there that are disrespectful and unruly. The guests in the room next to me had no consideration for others and proceeded to argue very loudly including on going cursing for 2 hours starting at 11:00pm. This happened BOTH nights I was there. In addition, on Sunday morning, very loud talking started at 5:00am from the same room. Very thin walls. Just know that you take a risk of this happening here. I reported it to the front desk after it happened the first night but it was the same thing the next night. The front desk is closed after 9pm and does not open until the next morning so you’re pretty much on your own if an issue like this arises.

This is a good option for families in a pinch. It has the basics for a semi-comfortable, temporary stay (tv, bed, internet, kitchen, bathroom equipped with basic toiletries). The room was filled with the smell of smoke, and I could not breathe well because of my airways sensitivity. I also saw an insect in the kitchen area, and the couch and dressers/counters were dirty and/or stained. The staff was very friendly and attempted to accommodate my needs. However, I decided to check out just a few minutes after check-in, as it was not a good option for me.
