Ivy Street 7 Dicky Beach

The house was beautiful, had everything you could need for a holiday stay. Quiet neighbour but within walking distance of patrolled beach and shops. Large supermarket 5 minutes drive. One surprise was having to make all the beds on arrival. Highly recommend staying here.

The downstairs room smelt of dog but airing the room helped each day. It was a great house in terms of layout for 8 people, very well resourced kitchen and within walking distance to beach. We loved the swimming pool and outdoor verandah area upstairs.

After 3 years of my cancer journey I decided I needed and wanted a holiday at my favourite beaches up the coast. And it was wonderful. The weather was hit and miss but because the house had wonderful outdoor decks it was great for friends visiting also. My dog a border collie settled in so well. The house was so well stocked. Had everything you could possibly need apart from a vacuum cleaner as my dog drops hair. I felt bad about that. My granddaughters loved the pool and playhouse and so many games when it was raining. Shops are convenient. Dog beach is a 2 minute drive and my dog loved it. Even neighbours were so friendly. I will definitely tell others who are looking for a wonderful holiday home. And would love to go back again. 10 out of 10.

Was great for our pets. Dog park close by. Walking distance to beach. Pool was not so good for our young grandsons. No shallow end. Plenty of seating inside and out. 2 great outdoor areas.

The house area was perfect for our needs. However it was very disappointing to have travelled all day to arrive at the house and have to make our beds and then strip them before leaving, this was not explained in the original advertising. No dishwasher tablets provided, 1 garbage bag in the kitchen, a tiny amount of dishwashing liquid 2 rolls of toilet paper. Other B an B's we have stayed in both here and in New Zealand have provided all this and more, we have never had to make our beds on arrival or remove bedding when leaving. The Real Estate was not easy to contact at all, and was extremely slow in returning emails or phone calls. Check in process was not clear and 2 other families had similar issues when we went to pick up keys. I had asked for early check in and was put off and then it was forgotten about. We will not be using this Real estate again if it connected to B and B's in this area.
