A truly unique stay! Individually decorated rooms, each with a different theme chosen by a different local artist in the old train station building. Free entry to the Spreewelten swimming pool complex with an outdoor pool where you can swim alongside penguins(?!) and a free boat trip.if.ypu.stay 2+ nights. Delicious breakfast included (with mandatory gherkins) in an old town restaurant a 10 minute walk away. Not to everyone's tastes but absolutely worth staying for in our opinion!

Beautiful hotel right at the train station. Our room was a work of art from top to bottom including a beautiful bathroom. We could not hear the train station. The staff was friendly and we got a free river trip by boat to explore the area. We also rented an all day canoe to explore Spreewald and its village by paddle. The room includes a free breakfast at a nearby hotel, about 15 minutes walk from the train station. We can highly recommend both the pensione/hotel and Lubbenau Spreewald. Its really worth a visit and just 1 hour from Berlin by train.
