I booked this hotel using different types of points so we weren’t able to book the same type of room for all 3 nights. The hotel did their best to accommodate us. The restaurant in the hotel was very good, but there were a number of options close by. The only elevator at the hotel broke down the last day we were there but the hotel staff offered to help transport bags down the stairs before we checked out. Cornerbrook is very small and the hotel was located in a central location.

Friendly service and well equipped with the washer/dryers, gym, bookable hot tubs/sauna, water filters, and more. The complimentary breakfast dishes were also better than your standard continental spread, but the wait times after ordering took upwards of 45 mins. However, the blame for that goes to the brewery rather than the hotel itself.

Amazing!!! Not only is the staff polite, welcoming and informative, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! Everywhere you look, the decor is modern and well thought out. Our room was overlooking a rock wall. We enjoyed the hot tub on the roof top. Laundry was free near the gym. We loved that it was also well priced, breakfast included.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was great. The bedding was ripped but it was at the bottom of the bed so it didn’t bother us. The hot tubs are a great option. Would have been great if there was a divider between them for more privacy. Rooftop patio is great. Food was a little too eclectic for us so we didn’t eat there for supper. We did have breakfast the day we left. Food was good but service was a little slow and it wasn’t a busy day. But those are all small things. We had a great stay and would def stay again.

This hotel is new and absolutely Beautiful! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Very responsive to any issues like immediately. The room is above and beyond what we were expecting. So very clean. Would definitely return. Good food options in walking distance.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Friendly staff at check-in. The room was wonderful, I was truly in my happy place. Large room with full wall of windows with a nice view. The bathroom was large, with walk in shower & heated floors. The coffee option was a French press with local Gros Morne coffee, delicious. The fridge had options to purchase, highlighting their local beer, again really good. Every inch was spotlessly clean. I only stayed one night but look forward to a longer stay when I can take advantage of all the amenities (gym, rooftop patio & hot tub).

A chic, new, fashionable hotel in downtown Corner Brook. The bathroom featured a large walk in shower and heated (controlled by wall mounted thermostat) floor. Large windows let in plenty of light, superb black-out shades and a comfortable bed ensured a good night’s sleep. The included cook to order breakfast served in the hotel’s restaurant, was excellent and varied ranging from Eggs Benedict and avocado toast to omelets and pancakes. Highly highly recommend.

Almost perfect. Room doors close very loudly. Thin walls, so it CAN be a bit annoying if you get the wrong neighbours. I've stayed here three times and its still my favourite in the area.

The hotel is well maintained, they have a nice bar, and they’re serving outstanding cocktails and beverages. We stayed for a night in room 206 because it was too late to drive back to Burgeo. We could hear footsteps from above; however, it was not a big issue, and it didn’t bother us. For someone like myself with a back issue, the left side of the bed is sinking, so I switched sides with my partner. The live TV was so slow to upload. Instead, we watched Netflix on iPad—two TV controls; however, only one was working. I expected to watch the Australian Open finals, but their TV channels are limited. Overall, I would still come back and recommend the hotel because it is worth paying $250, including the tax, with complimentary parking and breakfast for two is a reasonable deal.

Visiting Corner Brook in the early fall is highly recommended. The changing leaves makes for spectacular views. The H&D has the coziest vibes. Felt like a hallmark movie. Would have give 5 star review but the toilet paper was awful and the window leaked (there was quite a storm overnight). No one really addressed the window leak while I was there. Otherwise great location, great staff, loved the restaurant attached and overall vibe will have me back again next fall.

We stayed at the Hew & Draw in a large suite for four nights over Christmas. While the hotel was open, the staff was very limited and our stay/service was poor as a result, and we were still charged full price. There was no breakfast on the 25th or 26th, which we were told upon check-in. Instead, they had some snacks in the lobby. Unfortunately, they didn't even take the muffins out of the plastic from Dominion. At one point we asked for fresh robes and were told there were none clean. Our room was only cleaned once. The television facing our bed didn't work and the front desk told us that their guess was as good as ours.

Hotel is modern clean and attractive attached to the Boomstick brewery - has a great bar with good food and service. Friendly helpful staff who accommodated a room change for us. Spaces to work (couple of uk time meetings) with coffee and scones.

There is a limited business district in Corner Brook, and Hew and Draw Hotel is located in the core of this area, which made the few shops we chose to visit conveniently nearby. Also, there are few good restaurants, and the Boomstick Brewing Company located within the Hew and Draw Hotel was the best in the city. The hotel was modern, with large, quiet, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Area is very limited for dining or evening entertainment. It is frankly a bit of a dreary location. The hotel and associated restaurant and brewery are first class - in a neighborhood that is not. The rooms are spacious, however spartanly furnished. There is almost no place provided for belongings or for the suitcases themselves. This is a conscious design choice not an oversite. I liked the concept of hotel/restaurant/brewery. In my opinion they need a Hotelier to finish the project for guest convenience.

A chic, new, fashionable hotel in downtown Corner Brook. The bathroom featured a large walk in shower and heated (controlled by wall mounted thermostat) floor. Large windows let in plenty of light, superb black-out shades and a comfortable bed ensured a good night’s sleep. The included cook to order breakfast served in the hotel’s restaurant, was excellent and varied ranging from Eggs Benedict and avocado toast to omelets and pancakes. Highly highly recommend.

The restaurant was amazing. Supper was superb. The atmosphere was great. Breakfast was the best I've experienced with a hotel stay. The hot tub area was great, a privacy wall between the 2 tubs would have been ideal. The building and rooms were perfect. Microwave would be convenient. Staff were fabulous at hotel and restaurant.

The best Hotel we stayed in after traveling for over three weeks. The Hotel was immaculate interior design, the room was cleaned, comfy bed, food in the pub was great, friendly staff and very helpful, and great location. Breakfast was included in our stay. We will definitely be back.

Clean. Modern. Good Location. Breakfast food wasn’t good. Dinner was good. Hotel service good. Restaurant service not so good. We chose to eat elsewhere, which was disappointing given it’s a very nice atmosphere but the menu and service need upgrades. Walking trails near by were enjoyable.

Friendly service and well equipped with the washer/dryers, gym, bookable hot tubs/sauna, water filters, and more. The complimentary breakfast dishes were also better than your standard continental spread, but the wait times after ordering took upwards of 45 mins. However, the blame for that goes to the brewery rather than the hotel itself.

Amazing!!! Not only is the staff polite, welcoming and informative, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! Everywhere you look, the decor is modern and well thought out. Our room was overlooking a rock wall. We enjoyed the hot tub on the roof top. Laundry was free near the gym. We loved that it was also well priced, breakfast included.

Stayed one night at the Hew & Draw and was taken aback first off by the inability to find the parking lot as the driveway was blocked off with a temporary patio structure. It seems that this property is still somewhat under construction as the door to access the hotel lobby is through the bar lounge area. The complimentary breakfast is a great add but be prepared to wait awhile to get served. Not enough experienced staff working the restaurant and waiting tables
