Direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs und trotzdem sehr leise. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Ob das 19 Euro wert ist, muss man selbst entscheiden. Parken für unverschämte 27,50 im Parkhaus der Bahn oder in Sichtweite auf städtischem Freiluftplatz für sehr günstige 4 Euro am Tag. Park—App fast ein Muss, weil der Automat nur Münzen nimmt!

Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt! Das Hotel war makellos sauber, das Personal äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ideal, mit mühelosem Zugang zur Stadt, und das angrenzende Parkhaus war äußerst praktisch. Insgesamt eine großartige Erfahrung, die ich nur weiterempfehlen kann!

Schöne saubere Zimmer mit Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher (zumindest das Exekutivzimmer mit Beistellbett), mit Klimaanlage. Sehr bequemes Bett, wir haben selten so gut in einem Hotelbett geschlafen. Gutes, auswahlreiches FS-Buffet, leider nur Aufbacksemmeln. Personal durchweg freundlich. Firstly, it could not have been easier to get to the hotel from the train. We had large suitcases and there were no stairs to negotiate and the entrance to the hotel was around 100 m from the station exit. The immediate surroundings were clean and quiet. The check-in process was very efficient and friendly. The room was spotless and looked brand new. It was a very typical room layout for Holiday Inn. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, which provided lashings of hot water with good water pressure. The usual coffee, tea and bottled water were also available in the hotel. We were within easy walking distance of the Art Museum, Christmas Market and city shopping.

Eigentlich ein schönes Zimmer und eine gute Lage. Leider war im ersten Zimmer das Telefon defekt, im zweiten Zimmer floss das Wasser nicht richtig aus der verstopften Dusche. Und die EDV war auch abgestürzt, so dass mir die Rechnung nachgeschickt werden musste. Das ist vielleicht Zufall, aber schade. Dafür hätte ich eigentlich eine Kompensation erwartet.

Ich bin zum zweiten Mal in dem Hotel gewesen. Es sind sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, saubere Laken und Bettwäsche, sauberes schönes modernes Bad. Auch das Hotel im allgemeinen ist sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Die Rezeptionist*innen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich war bezüglich einer Veranstaltung auf dem Maimarktgelände dort. Der Bahnhof ist sehr schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles in einem ein sehr angenehmer und schöner Kurzaufenthalt.

Sehr zufrieden mit dem Personal bzw. der Rezeption und dem Hotel. Das einzinge Manko war, dass die Kissen und Decken selbst, mit Flecken versehen waren. Der Bezug ist sauber, aber das Innenleben könnte auch mal gereinigt werden, denn es kommt auch auf die inneren Werte an :) Am letzten Tag ist dies uns aufgefallen und hat uns leicht erschrocken, als der Bezug abgerutscht ist. Ich bitte dies für zukünftige Gäste ernst zu nehmen.

During a recent road trip round Germany we booked a few hotels via Hotels.com using exactly the same search criteria just changing the date and location, all the others were perfect and we had no complaints but upon arrival at the Holiday Inn Mannheim we were told there was no onsite parking which we had selected as part of our search on Hotels.com, which whilst annoying wouldn’t have made me write a negative review (which I have never done before) However when we got to our room, which we had booked for 2 adults and a 7 year old child, there was only a double bed and no extra bed for our daughter. So I went downstairs to reception and politely asked where the extra child bed was, only to be told by the least hotel receptionist that I would have to pay extra for a bed that I had already booked and paid for. We loved Germany but definitely wouldn’t stay here.

During a recent road trip round Germany we booked a few hotels via Hotels.com using exactly the same search criteria just changing the date and location, all the others were perfect and we had no complaints but upon arrival at the Holiday Inn Mannheim we were told there was no onsite parking which we had selected as part of our search on Hotels.com, which whilst annoying wouldn’t have made me write a negative review (which I have never done before) However when we got to our room, which we had booked for 2 adults and a 7 year old child, there was only a double bed and no extra bed for our daughter. So I went downstairs to reception and politely asked where the extra child bed was, only to be told by the least hotel receptionist that I would have to pay extra for a bed that I had already booked and paid for. Firstly, it could not have been easier to get to the hotel from the train. We had large suitcases and there were no stairs to negotiate and the entrance to the hotel was around 100 m from the station exit. The immediate surroundings were clean and quiet. The check-in process was very efficient and friendly. The room was spotless and looked brand new. It was a very typical room layout for Holiday Inn. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, which provided lashings of hot water with good water pressure. The usual coffee, tea and bottled water were also available in the hotel. We were within easy walking distance of the Art Museum, Christmas Market and city shopping.

We liked the hotel and service. The rooms could have been cleaner, but they were comfortable. The location of the hotel is not great. There's not a ton to do directly around the neighborhood and going to Mannheim's city centre requires either a long walk, a car ride or some sort of public transit option that we did not explore.

Ein echt sehr gutes Hotel in einer spitzen Lage. Direkt am Hauptbahnhof und in die Stadt hat man es auch nicht weit. Sehr nettes Personal, Sauber, extrem gut isolierte Fenster gegen Lärm, Wärme und Kälte. Genau so ein super reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet mit Obst, Gemüse und was das Herz begehrt.

Sehr schönes, neuwertiges Hotel, unmittelbar am Lindenhofausgang zum HBF gelegen mit direktem Zugang zum HBF. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Schöne saubere Zimmer mit Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher (zumindest das Exekutivzimmer mit Beistellbett), mit Klimaanlage. Sehr bequemes Bett, wir haben selten so gut in einem Hotelbett geschlafen. Gutes, auswahlreiches FS-Buffet, leider nur Aufbacksemmeln. Personal durchweg freundlich. Parkmöglichkeiten kostenpflichtig nebenan, kostenlos evtl. in den angrenzenden Wohngebieten Preis-Leistung top, jederzeit wieder.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was kind and very helpful. Onsite restaurant is good and loads of other restaurants are nearby. Location is next to the Mannheim HBF train station and local trains. Would recommend this hotel to others and stay again.

Great roomy room, good breakfast. Only missed beans for my eggs & bacon and oat porridge. Girl at reception was not nice, she was annoyed when I came twice with key cards not working. She told me off not to keep them close to my phone, which I had not. This she did not care for. Also we had to ask her twice for the second set of towels (only one set for one person was in the room booked for two) and the clogged sink was not fixed. And it was severely clogged, probably took 2-3 minutes for it to empty after brushing teeth.

I would have judged everything about this hotel as excellent, but for an incident shortly before I left. The hotel is in a superb location, easy to get to by car, and with good parking facilities close by. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. After checking out on my final day, I asked a member of staff for a coffee to go. She happily agreed, but when she brought it to me she apologized and told me I would have to pay since breakfast had ended at 10 am, and it was now 10.10 am. It became apparent that the man on the desk for breakfast had issued this order. He had been a looming and unwelcoming presence throughout, and would not budge when I complained to him. A little flexibility and common sense was called for. And so I left the hotel with my impressions marred by unnecessary rigidity.
