Fantastisk lille perle. Værten var så sød og imødekommende. Hyggeligt værelse. Dejlig have med trampolin til børnene og lidt spil. Virkelig et hyggeligt sted. Vi kan helt klart anbefale stedet og området.

Leider wurden wir nur von einem Zettel mit unserem Namen und dem Schlüssel an der Rezeption "begrüßt". Generell zwar nicht schlimm, aber etwas unpersönlich. (Wir waren auch schon vor 15h vor Ort, da war allerdings niemand anzutreffen und auch keine Zettel, Auskünfte oder so, also sind wir nochmal gefahren...) Das Familienzimmer war schön groß und sauber. Es gibt keine Türen zwischen "Wohnzimmer" und den beiden Schlafzimmern. Aber für eine Nacht hat uns das nicht gestört. Das Bad hatte eine gute Aufteilung. Die Fliesen sind zwar alt und nicht mehr ganz so hübsch (Geschmackssache, klar), aber es war nicht heruntergekommen oder dreckig und das ist das wichtigste! Das Frühstück war gut. Ein kleines, überschaubares Buffet, aber alles da, was man braucht. Im Garten steht ein großes Trampolin, das unsere Tochter sehr gefeiert hat.

Beautiful location, within about 15 min of car time from the center of Villach or the Gerlitzen ski slopes (at the Ossiacher see), less than 1,5km from the Faaker see. The building, rooms and facilities themselves could do with some maintenance, but the owners are working on that. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and we had a very pleasant winter stay!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa pensione, tranquilla, in ottima posizione. Le camere sono un po’ datate, ma non manca nulla. Gli spazi sono molto buoni e le zone comuni ottime. Colazione essenziale, ma con tutto quello che serve. Il proprietario è molto gentile e ad accoglierci c’è una meraviglia di cane. Sicuramente una buona base di appoggio per escursioni nella zona.

Kleine Auswahl beim Frühstück, aber dennoch ist alles da. Sehr gute Qualität beim Frühstück (Qualität vor Quantität). Frische Zubereitung der Eier in jedlicher Form. Gemütliches Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und sauberen Bad. Wir waren für eine Nacht da und dafür war es perfekt und man kann bestimmt mehrere Nächte gut dort verbringen. Es gibt Getränke und einen gemütlichen Kachelofen zum sitzen.

We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Our room was fairly basic but gave what was required but we did have to report a running toilet and the room got very hot due to heatwave and lack of any air con. Balcony was an added bonus.
We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft. Die Einrichtung war einfach aber zweckmäßig. Der Service vom Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ansprechend zubereitet. Die Auswahl war ausreichend und Eier und Rühreier wurden frisch für jeden Gast gekocht bzw zubereitet.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht da. Es war sauber, Gastgeber freundlich, unkompliziertes Check in, gutes Frühstück. Was uns gestört hat, war das Fenster im Bad. Es hatte keinen Griff, ließ sich also nicht öffnen. Da muss dringend was getan werden. Ansonsten für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

I loved this hotel. The room was big enough for a family of four and the breakfast was great. I think i would have been more comfortable if i had stayed in the winter. I'm hot natured, so i slept with the window open. That felt great, but it is a busy highway and the cars were loud.

Wir hatten ein sehr einfaches Hotelzimmer, mit Doppelstockbett aus den 70ern. Trotzdem war alles sauber und der Chef bemüht. Da wir aber nur einen Zwischenstopp nach Kroatien hatten, war es für uns ausreichend.

Sehr freundliche Inhaber und gutes Frühstück. Insgesamt aber eine sehr veraltete Unterkunft, vor allem die Bäder. Für ein bis zwei Nächte ist es in Ordnung aber länger nicht. Hier sollten die Zimmer unbedingt renoviert oder zumindest teilweise erneuert werden. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und wollen eine faire Bewertung abgeben.

Bilder vom Gebäude und Zimmer vermitteln einen besseren Zustand als es der Realität entspricht. Die Familie war doch etwas geschockt, denn die Unterkunft erinnert eher an ein Wohnheim für Monteure als an Pension/Hotel. Im Doppelstockbett in unserem Zimmer konnte sich der unten Liegende nicht aufsetzen, da das Bett viel zu niedrig ist. Im Hinblick auf den günstigen Preis und das gute Frühstück letztlich für einen Zwischenstopp in Ordnung.

Leider wurden wir nur von einem Zettel mit unserem Namen und dem Schlüssel an der Rezeption "begrüßt". Generell zwar nicht schlimm, aber etwas unpersönlich. Ein kleines, überschaubares Buffet, aber alles da, was man braucht. Im Garten steht ein großes Trampolin, das unsere Tochter sehr gefeiert hat.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

We verbleven 1 nacht in dit hotel. Positief was zeker de vriendelijkheid van de uitbaters. Het ontbijt 's morgens was basic, maar we werden heel vriendelijk geholpen. Het inchecken was vreemd... eerst was er niemand aan de receptie, en dan werden bladen met namen + de sleutels op de toog gelegd, en kon je de sleutel ophalen. Heel vreemd. De kamer was echt wel oud, maar wel netjes. We waren blij dat we maar 1 keer in het bed moesten slapen, want het was echt wel hard....

Fantastisk lille perle. Værten var så sød og imødekommende. Hyggeligt værelse. Dejlig have med trampolin til børnene og lidt spil. Virkelig et hyggeligt sted. Vi kan helt klart anbefale stedet og området.

Everything was perfect. The host was kind and understanding in both German and English. Loved the breakfast with the view to the mountains, it could not have been more enjoyable than that. Definitely will revisit in the near future again.

I loved this hotel. The room was big enough for a family of four and the breakfast was great. I think i would have been more comfortable if i had stayed in the winter. I'm hot natured, so i slept with the window open. That felt great, but it is a busy highway and the cars were loud.

We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Familienzimmer ist einfach, aber trotzdem liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage zur Autobahn ist sehr praktisch auf dem Weg nach Kroatien. Und die Nähe zum See lockt zum Baden. Fürs Abendessen bekamen wir eine gute Restaurant Empfehlung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und besonders die Spiegeleier sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa pensione, tranquilla, in ottima posizione. Le camere sono un po’ datate, ma non manca nulla. Gli spazi sono molto buoni e le zone comuni ottime. Colazione essenziale, ma con tutto quello che serve. Il proprietario è molto gentile e ad accoglierci c’è una meraviglia di cane. Sicuramente una buona base di appoggio per escursioni nella zona.

Hier sollten die Zimmer unbedingt renoviert oder zumindest teilweise erneuert werden. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und wollen eine faire Bewertung abgeben.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück klein aber fein. Eier werden individuell zubereitet. Unser Zimmer war sauber, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ich denke die Besitzer werden hier nach und nach renovieren. Schönes B&B.

Kleine Auswahl beim Frühstück, aber dennoch ist alles da. Sehr gute Qualität beim Frühstück (Qualität vor Quantität). Frische Zubereitung der Eier in jedlicher Form. Gemütliches Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und sauberen Bad. Wir waren für eine Nacht da und dafür war es perfekt und man kann bestimmt mehrere Nächte gut dort verbringen. Es gibt Getränke und einen gemütlichen Kachelofen zum sitzen.

Wir haben uns in der Bergbude rundum wohlgefühlt! Besonders herzlich und freundlich waren die Besitzer – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt wird. Auch für Familien mit Kindern ist die Pension absolut empfehlenswert. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und kinderfreundlich, sodass sich auch die Kleinen direkt wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und abwechslungsreich. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass Eierspeisen auf Nachfrage frisch zubereitet wurden – ein kleines Detail, das den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Unser Zimmer war nicht das modernste, dafür hatte es seinen ganz eigenen, gemütlich-urigen Charme. Vor allem war es sehr sauber und gepflegt – und genau das ist für uns viel wichtiger als eine hochmoderne Ausstattung. Alles in allem eine liebevoll geführte, gemütliche Unterkunft mit ganz viel Herz. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Pension besonders Familien wärmstens empfehlen!

Unfortunately we couldn’t even stay the night in this hotel. Based on the reviews and price we paid we thought it would be suitable. However it was a very hot day and the room we were given is basically in the attic and it was very warm and uncomfortable in the room. There is no place to put your belongings short of some hangers and drawers made of cloth. The bathroom was also dirty. The bed was probably over 50 years old and made noise with any small movement. We couldn’t get a refund, but still decided to pay for accommodation elsewhere. I image some of the rooms have been remodeled based on the pictures and ratings online, but we didn’t have one of those…
