My recent stay was extremely disappointing and unlike my previous experiences at this hotel. I usually enjoy staying here because the beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly, but this visit fell far below expectations. After a long, exhausting day, I just wanted to check in and relax. Unfortunately, my first room was dirty, and the second room was even worse. When I reported the issue, the manager seemed skeptical and went upstairs to verify the condition himself before offering another room. Having to go back and forth several times with two children and multiple pieces of luggage was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. The last thing a tired parent should have to do is repeatedly move their belongings and children because rooms aren’t properly cleaned. The property’s overall cleanliness was also concerning. There was a large black bag of trash near the elevator, and we found unidentified bugs in our final room, including one in the bathroom and another near the bed. After all this inconvenience, the only compensation offered was a soda, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. I genuinely enjoy staying at this hotel, but cleanliness should be a basic standard, not something guests have to fight for. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I expect better room inspections, cleanliness, and accountability. I hope Marriott takes this seriously and provides a more appropriate resolution. This was not the level of hospitality I have come to expect from Marriott.

The hotel appears to be relatively new, but I was surprised to see noticeable staining in the hallways and on furniture in my room. The bigger issue, however, was billing. I booked through Hotels.com, including an additional night, but the hotel still placed extra charges on my card. I was assured one of the charges would not post, but it later did. While I was attending an event I had traveled five hours to attend, I had to stop what I was doing to call the hotel about more than $400 in unexpected charges. The hotel staff and hotel manager were all very unhelpful; the staff was even rude. They never once apologized for the additional charges, and I am still trying to resolve this issues days later, with the hotel manager remaining completely unresponsive. I expected much better service and attention to detail from a Marriott property.
