Un séjour parfait à l’hôtel Ibn Batouta ! J’ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cet établissement et je suis ravi de mon expérience. Situé à Guéliz, dans une rue calme à proximité de la poste, l’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal. Les chambres sont rénovées, impeccablement propres, et très confortables. Le petit-déjeuner buffet inclus dans le prix est à la fois complet et délicieux. L’hôtel propose également un service de restauration de qualité. Les équipements sont un vrai atout : deux piscines, l’une dans un charmant patio et l’autre sur la terrasse au 7ème étage, accompagnée d’un bar avec une vue imprenable. Le personnel est remarquable, toujours souriant, attentif et professionnel. Ils se montrent aux petits soins pour que chaque client se sente privilégié. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour son excellent rapport qualité-prix et ses services impeccables. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour un séjour réussi à Marrakech.

2 petis points négatifs que je peux dire 1. manque de places de stationnements ou il faut en trouver librement en face de l’hôtel, ne pas oublier de payer le gardien en suppl mais bon il y a au moins une surveillance, je pensais qu’il y avait un parking Intérieur 2. Dans notre chambre il manquait énormément de prise, on avait simplement deux à chaque coin de la du lit, obligé de brancher nos équipements sur la Tv ou le frigo , prévoir de demander une rallonge au début du séjour sinon le petit dej est juste délicieux ( point sur les viennoiseries) et le personnel très souriants😍

The location is great for Gueliz and the Medina, which is only a 20-minute walk away. The rooftop pool area is really nice and the included breakfast has a good array of treats. There’s a second pool down by the kitchen too, which is a cute spot. Many of the staff are lovely and really helpful, and they made us feel very welcome - especially the bell hop and the breakfast waiting staff. The desk staff aren’t really that interested in helping, but they’re generally polite. This is an excellent value option, and there are tons of nice places to eat and drink nearby, which is handy as the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol or much in the way of food after breakfast. The no-alcohol aspect is true of quite a few places in the local area, which is of course fair enough, but good to be aware of if you like a drink.

The pool, staff and location were great. The lack of pillows on the bed was strange and the shower was really gross. Lots of mold. The first night our room was terrible. Broken closet, shower moldy and leaked all over the bathroom floor. They were very kind and moved us the next day to a larger room.

The housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Lovely clean rooms :) only issue was the internet a bit slow and small pool.

Very good quality 3 star hotel, it felt more luxurious than 3 stars. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. Short walk to the centre. I would recommend this hotel and I’ll be happy to stay there again. A nice rooftop and pool!. Only negative comment is they don’t sell alcohol.

The location was great, very close to tourist attraction, plenty of Convenient stores and restaurant within walking distance. Staff were welcoming and polite, we were checked in an hour before our check in time, breakfast was nice but not plenty options to choose from we had same thing every morning.The cleanliness of our room wasn't good enough, our room was cleaned every afternoon but the curtains in our bedroom was dirty and dusty, our bed sheet wasn't changed in the 4 nights we spent it was only rearranged, the toilet bin was so rusty, soap dispenser was dirty, we got clean towel everyday but again those towels needs changing. It's an affordable place to stay more or less a 3 star hotel so I'm not surprise but I enjoyed my stay regardless.

Terrible stay at this property which in dire needs for renovation. The furniture is old and the bed is horrible better sleep on the hard floor than sleep on an old mattress. The bathroom smells sewage and there is mold all around it. The construction that’s going around this hotel will woke you up and keeps going on most of the day. Definitely not staying here anymore after this terrible experience.

Le personnel est accueillant et le roof top avec la piscine est super. Mais ça s'arrête là. Les fenêtres n'isolent absolument pas du bruit extérieur, rue très passante et bruyante. Une tâche est resté au sol du 1er jour jusqu'au dernier. La salle de bain est dans un état catastrophique. Pleine de moisissures et la cuvette des WC était sale à notre arrivée. Le meuble du lavabo est resté sale tout le temps de notre séjour.

We stayed for 6 nights and returned for 2 nights. Upon arrival the hotel presented as very clean, well maintained and the reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, good bedding, adequate towels, a room safe, the bathroom was clean and shower and toiletries were very good. Breakfast was continental, reasonable choice, fresh bread and pastries, limited hot dishes. You can order eggs from the waiter, although this is not advertised. About 15 min walk to Carrefour on the way to Koutoubia mosque and souk/medina which is about 25 mins. We did not get hassled anywhere apart from the usual scams in the souk. Beware anyone who wants to lead you anywhere, they will say, "I am going there anyway, I work there, I do not want money, looking is free". However, when you get there, there is pressure to buy and your helpful guide definitely wants money. The tanneries are a must to visit, but 'everyone' will want to show you the way. However, they are difficult to find, even with GPS on the phone, as accuracy in the narrow alleyways is poor, and you may well be in a parallel alleyway, which might be a dead end!!! Despite some false trails we did not get los So, a very good, very clean hotel in a good location to visit the tourist areas. We wish Ibn Batouta management and staff all the best for the future, and we thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is high end 3 star. They also offer airport transfer by luxury SUV, at a reasonable price, very efficient.

Hotel is nice, breakfast was ok. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Nearby there is a lot of modern shopping areas with big brands but also you are only a 30 minute walk from the medina. There is a few nice parks in the area too. The room itself was clean except for the shower in the bathroom which had a bit of mold round the grouting. You can hear the calls to prayer quite loudly from the nearby speaker so if youre a light sleeper bring ear buds. We were woken up by people walking around in the hallway area, they werent being loud but we could hear them very loudly because the doors dont seal very well. The Air condition was good and worked well

Nothing wrong with the property itself, it was a clean and well maintained hotel. I think it would help travelers immensely if booking sites like Expedia start showing property age along side other amenities. I do travel a lot and can report that the bathroom in the room I stayed could be a top contender for world’s tiniest bathroom.

The Ibn Batouta was a great hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast each morning was excellent, the rooftop pool and cafe was beautiful, and the rooms (although a bit small) were clean and quiet. The location of the hotel seemed perfect as it was walkable to the popular areas, sites, and Souks. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

We have now stayed twice here and have booked for another stay. We are seasoned travels to Morocco and Marrakech and it is difficult to find decent, clean quality hotels at a reasonable price in Marrakech. This fits all we were/are looking for. We found the staff wonderful, very kind and helpful. The facilities are not luxury, however they are very very decent for the price you pay. I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel. The rooms are not big, but they are clean, modern and comfortable. The WiFi is very good. Breakfast is also very good.

Check in was straight forward. English speaking staff. We had a couple of issues, bathroom lock kettle but they fixed it. They have a construction next door but that's out of their hands. Staff are polite, helpful, respectful. The area is great and really busy with lots of shops to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was basic.

We wanted a hotel near the airport for our last night as we had an early flight. Very happy with this choice. I want to particularly mention the lady at the front desk. She went above and beyond as my friend had done too much shopping and her bag was overweight and this lady actually repacked her bags and redistributed the weight and weighed the bags to make sure. Such dedication of the staff to help us was so appreciated. Also arranged airport transfer at 3am. I would definitely stay here again. Included buffet breakfast was also very good and a wide variety of items.

Firstly the hotel location and pool/lounge were great. However the rooms were dirty and not clean. On the bed sheets we found long hair on our pillow and had stains on our bedsheets. The hotel staff was mixed, some were nice, some weren’t, some didn’t bother with their job and watch YouTube videos all day. One lady was very difficult at reception. I complained about the iron not working and she made it a big deal. Despite her ordering a new iron her attitude was great when other customers were around, however her attitude was different when I went to speak to her alone. Clearly demonstrates her willingness and attitude was very unpredictable. The 2 gentlemen at reception also said check in was 3 pm when it clearly said 2pm on the booking but we didn’t check in until 3:30pm. A few guys were very nice such as the ones at the top of the pool and in the restaurant. The gentleman at the front door was very nice and welcoming. The other staff at the reception desk should learn from their younger peers. The older man who looked after our bags was very nice and friendly. The cleaning team was also good. Only the reception desk people were different and had bad attitude.

The hotel has restored its pleasant common areas, including the breakfast room, the rooftop swimming pool with a bar, and the lobby. Unfortunately the rooms are not of the same level. They have old toilets and showers, even if the mattresses are comfortable. I was given room 302, where the shower was flooding the room. A staff member at reception was very dismissive of our need to change the room. This attitude spoiled our arrival and the confidence that the hotel could take care of our needs. Only after my strong complaints I was assigned a different room. The other hotel staff, especially at the restaurant, were gentle and supportive.

The location is great for Gueliz and the Medina, which is only a 20-minute walk away. The rooftop pool area is really nice and the included breakfast has a good array of treats. There’s a second pool down by the kitchen too, which is a cute spot. Many of the staff are lovely and really helpful, and they made us feel very welcome - especially the bell hop and the breakfast waiting staff. The desk staff aren’t really that interested in helping, but they’re generally polite. This is an excellent value option, and there are tons of nice places to eat and drink nearby, which is handy as the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol or much in the way of food after breakfast. The no-alcohol aspect is true of quite a few places in the local area, which is of course fair enough, but good to be aware of if you like a drink.

Solo trip for 24 hours. I know the area go gueliz and it was great location. Bed was comfortable and room was really high standard. Plenty of towels and hairdryer. Shampoo bottle was empty but I think this was a mistake. High standards of cleanliness. Hotel has quest theme and was a nice touch to celebrate Ibn battutua Breakfast had a lot of variety drinks , hot option, fruit yoghurts, bread and moroccan pancakes. plenty of tables and very attentive staff. I would happily stay here again as it was good value and great location. thanks all staff.

Très bon séjour dans cette hôtel. Localisation top , à proximité de la place centrale de Gueliz et 30 min pied de la place jemaa el fna. La chambre est petite mais le balcon est très appréciable. Il ne faut pas être trop regardant sur les finitions.. ( porte et lavabo pas droit , obligé de demander une deuxième carte pour faire marcher le frigo , bouilloire hs , baie vitrée qui ne ferme pas , trace de fond teint du précédent occupant sur le savon de la sdb..) La clim fonctionne parfaitement. Romain service très accessible en terme de prix , très bon. Le rooftop avec la piscine est un vrai plus , nous avions peur qu’il n’y ait pas assez de transat mais finalement tout était ok. Jamais plus de 8 personnes en même temps sur le rooftop quasiment. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais ne varie pas du tout. Des fruits pourraient être ajoutés. Attention pas d’alcool dans cette hôtel mais carrefour a proximité au besoin. Parfait pour un court séjour en couple.

Everything met and exceeded expectations. The room itself was very comfortable and large, towels changed even though i stayed only 2 nights. Everything was clean. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast was decent, not amazing but a good variety of options (only downside was coffee - not drinkable). Nice pool area. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing. The first room we were given was advertised as a Deluxe Room, but it clearly wasn’t what was shown in the photos. To make matters worse, the shower had visible black mould, which is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one charging premium rates. After we complained, staff showed us a couple of alternative rooms. While the replacement room was an improvement, it still didn’t feel particularly deluxe—it simply matched what had originally been advertised. There were a few positives. The complimentary mint tea was excellent, and the rooftop pool area was pleasant with great views. However, even this experience was let down when we noticed a large number of ants crawling across the rooftop bar counter. Customer service was another major issue. On several occasions we tried calling room service with no answer. We eventually had to contact reception just to get through, and when we did, the receptionist’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, which only added to our frustration. The one consistently positive aspect of our stay was the bed. It was large, comfortable, and provided a good night’s sleep. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing. The first room we were given was advertised as a Deluxe Room, but it clearly wasn’t what was shown in the photos. To make matters worse, the shower had visible black mould, which is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one charging premium rates. After we complained, staff showed us a couple of alternative rooms. While the replacement room was an improvement, it still didn’t feel particularly deluxe—it simply matched what had originally been advertised. There were a few positives. The complimentary mint tea was excellent, and the rooftop pool area was pleasant with great views. However, even this experience was let down when we noticed a large number of ants crawling across the rooftop bar counter. Customer service was another major issue. On several occasions we tried calling room service with no answer. We eventually had to contact reception just to get through, and when we did, the receptionist’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, which only added to our frustration. The one consistently positive aspect of our stay was the bed. It was large, comfortable, and provided a good night’s sleep. Staff was great, breakfast with high quality and delicious, the restaurant was open until 11:00 PM. If I had to come back to Marrakech I will book this hotel again. Price vs quality is awesome. My very sincere congratulations to Hotel IBN Boutist.

Een net hotel met schone kamers. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Ontbijt was prima. De kamers zijn koel door de airco. Een mooi zwembad met ligstoelen en dakterras om gezellig te zitten. De ligging is perfect. Zo’n 20 minuten lopen naar djemaa el fna en dichtbij heel veel restaurants en winkels.
