Just perrrrrrrrrrfect! Comforable and cozy. Easy access. Everything you need or wanted. The view looking down onto the valley is amazing, fantastic and spectacular.One day we just stayed at the cabin and took a short walk. All of a sudden four deer ran out of the woods and ran across our path. Bumble Bees, Hummingbirds, and rabbits everywhere. Nature at its best. So glad we found this cabin and now is on the top of our "A".

Peaceful, beautiful, full of nature and wildlife. It was fantastic !! The property is well maintained and clean. Dog friendly too. Its private and our dog was able to run and play with no worry. Loved it ❣️

It was easy to see that this cabin is well loved by the owners. The view is amazing. The road to the cabin is quite steep and narrow. It is blacktopped. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were amazing! It was really nice having laundry facilities on site. We didn’t have a pet, although it is pet- friendly.

My wife and I had a great "mini" week vacation. Took advantage of all the slice of Heaven cabin's amenities. Wood burning fire place in the morning and evenings. The barbecue grill cooked up steaks, country pork ribs, steel trout salmon, and beef ribs. Beds soft as clouds. Every day, we took road trips on back mountain roads to places like Dillsboro, Haynesville, Blairsville, Clayton, and Murphy. Lastly, we soak in the beauty of the gold, orange, yellow, and brown Autumn majestic mountains. The last day, Saturday, we just kicked back and watch the Macon county Airport airplanes take off and land. Of course, all thos while enjoying the valley's panoramic view unfold below from sunrise to sunset. Church bells rang out below. We're ready for our 3rd visit next spring. This is a cabin to write home about.

Wonderful property! Quiet corner with beautiful views from the front porch swing! Small yard area, so walking the fur babies is a must. Lastly, the driveway is quite steep so, it’s not ideal for 2WD or small vehicles in the winter months. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! It was stocked with everything we needed. The view was absolutely amazing!!! We spent most of our time just sitting on the porch enjoying the view and watching the planes take off and land at the airport in the valley. We would definitely stay here again. again

Close to Franklin for shopping & restaurants, hiking trails, waterfalls… so many things to do. Or just relax & enjoy the views from the rocking chairs on the porch! Michael was a great host! I randomly came across this home when searching for a place for my husband and I to just get away for a little R&R. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short once we saw Hurricane Helene predictions for NC Smokey Mountains and only stayed two nights. Despite this we still enjoyed the time we did have and the amazing view from the front porch. Home was very clean and cozy! Booking was easy and communication with the owners were exceptional, courteous and information was thoroughly given. We loved it so much that we will definitely plan another trip to this exact home in the future!!

The cabin is truly "a Slice of Smokey Mountain Heaven". It is clean, comfortable, well kept, well stocked, and the hosts are kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the beautiful view, watching planes take off and land at the airport, listening to the church bells ring out melodic hymns, and observing the abundant wildlife. There is so much to see and do in the area. A vacation stay here can be as quiet and peaceful, or as busy and active as you like. We highly recommend a stay at this cabin.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The cabin is nicely secluded although other houses are nearby. Beautiful view from the front porch. Very clean. So happy it was a dog friendly cabin so we could bring our sweet 12 yo dachshund with us. The owners were very nice and so easy to get in touch with. We will definitely stay again if we stay in Franklin.

Truer words were never said. This place was immaculate, which is of highest priority to me and it was the best view we’ve ever had when we did a rental in the mountains. Communication with the owners was easy. They were very responsive & kind. I wish I could give it a 6 star rating!

Yes the view is spectacular, but for us it was more than a view. It was a relaxing weekend away from the grind. It was clean, it was quiet, and we literally had everything we needed. We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed overlooking the valley as evening and night rolled in. It was most perfect for us.

I was looking for a cabin that had big, open views where, after sightseeing, shopping, etc., I could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the porch. This was the perfect spot! The cabin is at the top of a hill overlooking the valley (don't forget the binoculars). Even so, there are homes all along the road up to the cabin, so while it was very private, it didn't feel isolated. I was in Franklin a couple of hours early and texted the owners, who responded immediately and let me check in. The cabin is stocked with everything you could reasonably need and was very comfortable and homey. The listing and pictures are accurate, and I would definitely book this listing again.

The view from the porch is amazing! Checking in was easy, and the cabin had everything we needed. Could use a little larger frying pan. The location is perfect, and the town of Franklin is lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful mountain cabin!!! The view is breathtaking; overlooking the valley with the mountains in the background. The cabin has everything you need and more. Michael and Robin are very sweet and great hosts. The cabin is secluded, quiet and an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Franklin, with it's quant shops and nice restaurants. Everything was perfect and we will be back when the mountains are calling.

Quiet and so exquisitely beautiful. The sunrises will take your breath away. Deer walking around and come right up toward the cabin. Traveled to Dry Falls which was a short drive and well worth it. Such a glorious place. Robin and Michael are amazing hosts and the kind of folks you feel blessed to meet!! We will be back for sure!

Our trip was a quick decision and thankfully Robin and Michael had availability. They were responsive and emailed us all of the information and texted as well. The home was cozy and inviting! We were not at all disappointed. The location was amazing, They call it a little slice of smoky Mountain heaven and let me tell you it’s heaven! I was thankful I read through the guest book and found out the church ring bells in the morning. It’s absolutely amazing. The stay was affordable and had everything we needed! The hosts were wonderful and I can’t wait to come back! We saw deer twice, and loved the Mountain View’s.

The cabin is truly "a Slice of Smokey Mountain Heaven". It is clean, comfortable, well kept, well stocked, and the hosts are kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the beautiful view, watching planes take off and land at the airport, listening to the church bells ring out melodic hymns, and observing the abundant wildlife. There is so much to see and do in the area. A vacation stay here can be as quiet and peaceful, or as busy and active as you like. We highly recommend a stay at this cabin.

great little cabin., a little smokey when we arrived. the driveway going into the cabin was a little steep and hard to see but the manager corrected as soon as it was brought to his attention and had the leaves blown off and reflectors added

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully relaxing cabin with an awesome mountain view. Michael was a perfect host. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is close enough to town but far enough to seem like you are in the woods. Views are some of the BEST ever. Michael & Robin are so responsive to any inquiries or requests. We love this place. This was our 2nd trip and look forward to many return visits.

It was easy to see that this cabin is well loved by the owners. The view is amazing. The road to the cabin is quite steep and narrow. It is blacktopped. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were amazing! It was really nice having laundry facilities on site. We didn’t have a pet, although it is pet- friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful mountain cabin!!! The view is breathtaking; overlooking the valley with the mountains in the background. The cabin has everything you need and more. Michael and Robin are very sweet and great hosts. The cabin is secluded, quiet and an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Franklin, with it's quant shops and nice restaurants. Everything was perfect and we will be back when the mountains are calling.

My husband and I had the best stay in your cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. We loved that it was close to town but also far enough away that you couldn't even hear the cars down below. The view from the deck was breathtaking so we spent most of our time there. Wonderful property! Quiet corner with beautiful views from the front porch swing! Small yard area, so walking the fur babies is a must. Lastly, the driveway is quite steep so, it’s not ideal for 2WD or small vehicles in the winter months. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Close to Franklin for shopping & restaurants, hiking trails, waterfalls… so many things to do. Or just relax & enjoy the views from the rocking chairs on the porch! Michael was a great host! I was looking for a cabin that had big, open views where, after sightseeing, shopping, etc., I could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the porch. This was the perfect spot! The cabin is at the top of a hill overlooking the valley (don't forget the binoculars). Even so, there are homes all along the road up to the cabin, so while it was very private, it didn't feel isolated. I was in Franklin a couple of hours early and texted the owners, who responded immediately and let me check in. The cabin is stocked with everything you could reasonably need and was very comfortable and homey. The listing and pictures are accurate, and I would definitely book this listing again.

The view from the porch is amazing! Checking in was easy, and the cabin had everything we needed. Could use a little larger frying pan. The location is perfect, and the town of Franklin is lovely.

My wife and I had a great "mini" week vacation. Took advantage of all the slice of Heaven cabin's amenities. Wood burning fire place in the morning and evenings. The barbecue grill cooked up steaks, country pork ribs, steel trout salmon, and beef ribs. Beds soft as clouds. Every day, we took road trips on back mountain roads to places like Dillsboro, Haynesville, Blairsville, Clayton, and Murphy. Lastly, we soak in the beauty of the gold, orange, yellow, and brown Autumn majestic mountains. The last day, Saturday, we just kicked back and watch the Macon county Airport airplanes take off and land. Of course, all thos while enjoying the valley's panoramic view unfold below from sunrise to sunset. Church bells rang out below. We're ready for our 3rd visit next spring. This is a cabin to write home about.

Yes the view is spectacular, but for us it was more than a view. It was a relaxing weekend away from the grind. It was clean, it was quiet, and we literally had everything we needed. We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed overlooking the valley as evening and night rolled in. It was most perfect for us.

We have enjoyed this cabin spring, summer, and fall. This our third time visiting slice of heaven and have already reserved another week in October to see the autumn leaves. The view of the valley is amazing just like the host. They're the best. Without a doubt we love Slice of Heaven cabin. D & SE

Stunning panoramic view of the mountains and valley. Every morning greeted with a chorus of various birds. Porch is set up with a swing and rocking chairs so you can sit and breathe it all in. Home is cozy —very comfortable. Hosts were wonderful and always very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to go back!

This property has an amazing view of the mountains! The property was very clean and the owners Michael and Robin were absolutely amazing hosts! I feel this property is at the center of so many things to do and all of it within an hour or less of the property. Things you can google and find within an hour or less of travel time is: Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City, Cherohala Skyway which starts in Robbinsville, Dry Falls which is absolutely beautiful, Wayha Bald Tower which is a 360 degree view of FOUR states and Biltmore Estates in Asheville! I did all of these things within a 6 day stay. So beautiful and the property is very private and the view from the deck is incredible! You won't want to stay in the cabin unless you can pull yourself away from the view! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough what a great cabin this place is. It is spotless, with everything we could possibly need. Communication with the owners is very easy. It was our second time there & we will gladly go back again. The view is unbeatable. It truly is a piece of heaven.

We had a great stay here with our kids for Easter break. It is the perfect location for exploring the Smokey Mountains and surrounding forests. Everything about the property is as listed and there were no surprises. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make a great meal, and there were plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets to go around. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. We would definitely stay again!
