We only stayed 1 night to attend a gig at Emirates Old Trafford. Bowling Green is a fab place, clean, comfortable, lovely staff & lovely touches like self serve complimentary breakfast/snack station. We couldn't have wanted more & would be happy to stay again

Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Rooms were very nice. Mini fridge in your room and help yourself area in the corridor that had plenty of snacks and breakfast items. I was in room one, felt like it had been recently renovated, or they keep a room very well. Booking in and checking out is easy. Would stay again. Pub is also great.

Lovely pub, lovely grounds, lovely inn, wonderful amenities, friendly staff … what’s not to love? If you’re in the Chorlton area, stay here. If I have to cavil, it would be nice to have a small shelf in the shower … but I’m reaching.

Absolutely gorgeous room looked newly done. Brilliant facilities in the room and hallway with a great breakfast station. Staff were brilliant so helpful, I hadn't realised it was above a very busy pub however it didn't really impact my stay

Really lovely well appointed room.They dont do cooked breakfast but everything else is avaiable,continental style along the corridor and tea and coffee and other nibbles in room. The staff are very helpful. Jyst a lovely stay,would definitely go back.

Easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. The staff were excellent and liked the buffet breakfast where you have a lot of options. The food was also very good so all in all a very good place and will be back again if I have meetings nearby.

Excellent overall , however , bad smell in bathroom. Perhaps problem with drains. The room had been sprayed with an air freshener prior to us entering the room

Nicely appointed room with only a little noise from the pub (expected tbh as it was Saturday night) which stopped by 11.30pm. Staff were great and very friendly. Pub food was good. Room smelt a little strange and couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work, but other than that everything was great. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate.

A lovely place to stay. The bedrooms are very clean and tidy with a selection of biscuits/ snacks which was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and food good. The only downside was No cooked breakfast, just a continental breakfast, but will stay again

We were greeted by mark on arrival who checked us in his customer service was excellent showed us up to our rooms and explained everything with a full compliment of snacks left in our room.The rooms were spacious and cleaned meticulously. We went to the bar restaurant for food and drink and the staff food and service were excellent.we thought Charlton would be quite isolated bet we were mistaken plenty to do with lots of other restaurants and pubs around the area.I will be booking again to stay thank you to mark and all his staff

Room radiator on when arrived for 90 mins in a 2 day stay. Thereafter no heating at all. Consequently Room damp and a poor smell. Very poor and restricted evening menu although the fish and chips we had were good. Due to lack of variety we cancelled our second evening meal and ate elsewhere. Prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning which was not available.

We went to the bar restaurant for food and drink and the staff food and service were excellent.we thought Charlton would be quite isolated bet we were mistaken plenty to do with lots of other restaurants and pubs around the area.I will be booking again to stay thank you to mark and all his staff

Lovely pub, lovely grounds, lovely inn, wonderful amenities, friendly staff … what’s not to love? If you’re in the Chorlton area, stay here. If I have to cavil, it would be nice to have a small shelf in the shower … but I’m reaching.

Easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. The staff were excellent and liked the buffet breakfast where you have a lot of options. The food was also very good so all in all a very good place and will be back again if I have meetings nearby.

We only stayed 1 night to attend a gig at Emirates Old Trafford. Bowling Green is a fab place, clean, comfortable, lovely staff & lovely touches like self serve complimentary breakfast/snack station. We couldn't have wanted more & would be happy to stay again

Nicely appointed room with only a little noise from the pub (expected tbh as it was Saturday night) which stopped by 11.30pm. Staff were great and very friendly. Pub food was good. Room smelt a little strange and couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work, but other than that everything was great. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate.

A lovely place to stay. The bedrooms are very clean and tidy with a selection of biscuits/ snacks which was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and food good. The only downside was No cooked breakfast, just a continental breakfast, but will stay again

We were greeted by mark on arrival who checked us in his customer service was excellent showed us up to our rooms and explained everything with a full compliment of snacks left in our room.The rooms were spacious and cleaned meticulously. We went to the bar restaurant for food and drink and the staff food and service were excellent.we thought Charlton would be quite isolated bet we were mistaken plenty to do with lots of other restaurants and pubs around the area.I will be booking again to stay thank you to mark and all his staff

Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Rooms were very nice. Mini fridge in your room and help yourself area in the corridor that had plenty of snacks and breakfast items. I was in room one, felt like it had been recently renovated, or they keep a room very well. Booking in and checking out is easy. Would stay again. Pub is also great.

Room radiator on when arrived for 90 mins in a 2 day stay. Thereafter no heating at all. Consequently Room damp and a poor smell. Very poor and restricted evening menu although the fish and chips we had were good. Due to lack of variety we cancelled our second evening meal and ate elsewhere. Prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning which was not available.

Absolutely gorgeous room looked newly done. Brilliant facilities in the room and hallway with a great breakfast station. Staff were brilliant so helpful, I hadn't realised it was above a very busy pub however it didn't really impact my stay

Really lovely well appointed room.They dont do cooked breakfast but everything else is avaiable,continental style along the corridor and tea and coffee and other nibbles in room. The staff are very helpful. Jyst a lovely stay,would definitely go back.

Arrived and parked out the back where there are several electric charging points. Checked in at the bar and shown to the room upstairs. Room was clean and well presented. I had a small plates selection in the bar for dinner which was very tasty and very filling. There's also a good selection of beers. The room was over the bar, but still quiet. There is no ironing board in the rooms and I requested one from the bar. It was delivered and I was told the iron was in the room, but after a thorough search I couldn't find it. There are some great walks that follow the brook and river Mersey the other side of the road. Use Maps on a phone as I would have been lost without it. Breakfast items are provided in the room and the corridor. There is plenty to choose from, but no cooked options. A very enjoyable stay and I would be happy to return.

A really enjoyable stay at the Bowling Green. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a fantastic venue with a great bar, and nice food. The rooms were nice, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s also such a lovely area to stay. We are definitely coming back.

I stayed at the Bowling Green hotel before a funeral the next day. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a nice shower room; the tv worked, etc. It was particularly convenient that breakfast and snack items were left out for guests to help themselves. The staff were generally helpful- eg coming up without delay to close a high window. The next morning the proprietor Mark offered me a lift to Southern Cemetery- very much beyond the call of any ‘duty’ and for which I was immensely grateful. He even offered me a coffee from the pub while I was waiting. An excellent experience.
