Affordable, pool was great, close to beaches, St. Petersburg, and animal reserves. Ran into many other friendly travelers at hotel. All being very respectful. I’d stay here

The room had a few problems in the bathroom like the frame around the door had been chewed on by a pet. The floors were dirty when we first got there as my bare feet became black. Hotels.com needs to include the $60 refundable deposit they require in their fees. Their free wifi is not good and cuts off at times. Their pool was closed all three days was there.

Their internet was down so check in was a bit sketchy. The area around the motel did not seem safe and the nearest restaurant was closed down. The room was clean but the fridge didn’t work and the ice machine didn’t work. The only redeeming item was that it was quiet.

Stay was ok. Was quiet except for highway noise but that was my choice. If you dont want the noise dont get a hotel next to an interstate. Room was ok. Get what you pay for. No Bugs thats a plus. Front desk people were very polite and helpful when asked for additional towels. Water worked good. Hot Water was plentiful. Needed a little more attention to upkeep. Bathtub was very used looked dirty but was just really scuffed up. porcelain was chipping off Needed some recaulking around tub. Reserved smoking room was given non smoking room. When asked about this they said just disregard non smoking sign and it was ok to smoke in room. Was ok for me but i seen some other nonsmoking persons talk about room smelling like smoke well that would be why. Burn holes in comforter and sheets. Really need to take care of this. Not really acceptable even from a smoker. You really get what you pay for but i would stay here again. It was ok for what it was. Was clean and bug free. everything in room worked just outdated. And need to pay attention to condition of bedding. Pool was pretty small but ok.Got my deposit back the next business day. So that was a big plus!

They could pay more attention to the outside of their hotel. They could use to clean their ice machine. Details hotel owners, details. The price we had to pay per night…details are important.

The check in was fine, but the room was absolutely disgusting. The walls were covered in random stains and dirt, the floors looked like they had never been cleaned. Every corner of the room was caked with dirt and whatever else. The shower was leaky and had rust. The bathroom was covered in dirt all over the walls, and even looked like some fecal matter was smeared on the wall. The beds were clean and decently comfortable, but there was a cigarette burn mark on one of the blankets. It was a severely disappointing experience. I have stayed at many motel 6’s and this one did not live up to the standard.

The hotel overall was decent and aligned with the price. The room was spacious and the general areas were clean and well-maintained. However, the bathroom was a major disappointment. There was black mold all around the edge of the bathtub, and the toilet was not properly cleaned. It really took away from an otherwise acceptable stay. With better attention to bathroom cleanliness, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

Despite the rooms being “non-smoking” they all smell like smoke, the area overall felt unsafe and unnerving. The rooms are run down and the beds have stains on them. Not to mention the high deposit for such a run down motel. The only thing remotely great about this place is the ac, worked surprisingly well.

There was mold all in the bathroom. We had a 7 night stay booked and ended up across the street at a way cleaner and newer hotel. Stay far away from this place the room was like a micro room it was tiny. The sheets felt damp. The room smelled. Best thing was the internet.

Tub was dirty and room floor was extremely dirty. After washing the tub out, it was still noticeably stained. After taking a shower or walking on the floor bare foot our feet were extremely dirty, probably why tub was stained. very noisy room.

If you are looking for a luxurious hotel, then book somewhere else. This hotel is for a quick overnight stay or two. I was only there for one night and my room smelled/appeared freshly cleaned. This is an old motel with dings and dents, but I didn't mind for what I needed. The only complaints I had were that the water was barely warm, the remote had a very frustrating delay on it when switching channels. Also, I paid one dollar for a can of diet coke, and it was hot. I tried to get ice from the machine but when it trickled out a few cubes it had a yellowish tint so that was a no go. This hotel was filled with a bunch of traveling contractor guys that I could tell didn't care about amenities. There is a Wendy's right next door and two different gas stations as well. Overall, I would stay here again but plan to bring a cooler with my own ice and drinks. I would not recommend an extended stay.

There was almost zero water pressure in the shower. I was only staying for one night or I would have said something to the desk. Also no one mentioned what the WiFi password was. Again it wasn’t too much of an issue since I left in the morning.

Close to the casino. Didn’t like flat pillows asked for extra was told didn’t have any, street light shinned through bedroom windows couldn’t really sleep, the tub had water underneath it like it was leaking somewhere and complimentary bar soap gate bar soap. Ok for one night maybe but definitely not multiple nights.

There's better in local area. Shower didn't work, ac barely functioned, we could hear everyone and everything around us. I wouldn't go back to this location, even if given a comped room.

I stay here a few times a week. For the price it is acceptable. I have definitely been in worse motels. I have not found any roaches yet. The water pressure is hit or miss. The bed is usually clean, and I dont walk around barefoot since the floor is always covered in a thin layer of dirt/dust. Little things that could be better: the towels could be softer, they are extremely rough and scratchy. Overall 6/10.

I had car trouble on my way to the motel. I called and spoke with the night clerk. He assured me that since I prepaid, I would have no trouble checking in late. I arrived early that morning after driving all night long and was told by Nick that I was No Showed because I did not arrive by 4am. He quoted “policy” and did not even apologize for the inconvenience.

It was relatively clean...kinda quiet...but best of all affordable..i couldnt ask for much more for a last second decision. The girl at the front desk was the best thing about the place..friendly efficient and professional.

I arrived for a 3 night stay, exhausted and ready to sleep. After checking in at the front desk and getting my key, I walked to my room. As I unlocked the door I realized that it was latched from the inside. Then I heard a woman scream, so I immediately excused myself and closed the door. I went back to the desk and explained to them, that there was someone in my room. They initially didn’t believe me but finally relented and took the key to check for themselves, only to realize that there was in fact someone already occupying that room. They gave me a key to another room and trivially explained that there was an error with the system, as if this was a normal occurrence. However due to no longer feeling comfortable staying there, I checked out the next morning and found another place to stay.

Everything was great except for the way that they did the refund on the deposit. I asked for receipt showing that it had been refunded to my charge card they would not provide me with a receipt so then they asked me for my email and they said they would email me a receipt the next day, and I still have not received. I fear we’re going to steal my $60 deposit.

When we arrived I had to pay an additional $60 refundable deposit for the room. When I got to my room the toilet had no water in the tank. Walked to the front desk to tell them the toilet was broken( no phones in the room). To be told I needed to turn the water on. Bathroom itself needs some work, it’s dirty, like hair still in the tub. Beds are okay, and the pillows are super thin. The front desk was great and helpful!

Traveled to Tampa from Orlando for the Morgan Wallen concert on 5/6. To be honest, we were looking for something that was easy on the wallet and convenient in location to the Midflorida Amphitheater. The hotel all in all, was solid. It's definitely a motel, but the staff was super friendly, it's got a Wendy's (open till 2 a.m.) and gas station, within the same parking lot (we found super convenient for drinks, late night snacks, I left my razor at home, etc). No sign of bugs, the bed was very comfortable, the shower tub had little signs of wear and tear, but truly, no complaints. If you're looking for a quick trip, in and out, and aren't super high maintenance, book Motel 6 Tampa.

I would never stay at this hotel ever. The room was poor. I am not sure what kind of pillows these room had, but they were the smallest and flat. Location was terrible. Other guest were playing loud music till after midnight.

You really get what you pay for - which was fine with us. The outside of the building is a little rough and the area is super convenient to the casino and fairgrounds, but I wouldn’t walk around out there alone at night. (Ubers are very available in the area.) Inside of the room was modest and clean. Fridge worked great - didn’t try the microwave. AC worked great. Property was quiet. It’s not 5 star, but I would definitely stay again.
