Parking space is not enough. We’re lucky that the council parking in the opposite side of the street is free on Saturday night, so we can get a space. Table top, shelf and hook for hanging clothes or bag in the guest room is not enough too. Staffs are so nice and helpful, but the hygiene of restaurants tables and chairs need improvement.

Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the lovely staff were there to greet us . Absolutely nothing was too much trouble or an inconvenience. The room was large and very comfortable. Spotless bathroom, fluffy towels . Breakfast was organised with a good choice of things to have . Would have no qualms at recommending this hotel . Thank you for looking after us and all the people who came for the event .

This Holiday Inn is perfectly situated for the town centre of Barrow, and also numerous businesses nearby. It's clean, the staff are excellent and the addition of the Chromecast in every room is also a bonus when you have a long stay. My only criticism would be the coffee, and the lack of options such as a fried egg at breakfast - I appreciate the latter is because of the Express brand, but the coffee supplier should be changed.

The hotel is very nice but on this night it was around minus 6 degrees and the room was cold, the air con would not stay on so I had a terrible nights sleep, also some of the breakfast items were cold tut tut this is basic stuff for a chain

Well-located hotel that is very convenient for working and also general exploring of the town. Could also be a good base to explore the Lakes. Good modern rooms with all the expected facilities - particularly liked the Chromecast in each room to give the option of watching what we like on the big screen. Only criticism is with the breakfast - sausages are overcooked, fried eggs or other options would be nice - and the coffee was not good at all. Just a jug of filter would be preferable to the machine being used.

Well-located hotel that is very convenient for working and also general exploring of the town. Could also be a good base to explore the Lakes. Good modern rooms with all the expected facilities - particularly liked the Chromecast in each room to give the option of watching what we like on the big screen. Only criticism is with the breakfast - sausages are overcooked, fried eggs or other options would be nice - and the coffee was not good at all. Just a jug of filter would be preferable to the machine being used.

This Holiday Inn is perfectly situated for the town centre of Barrow, and also numerous businesses nearby. It's clean, the staff are excellent and the addition of the Chromecast in every room is also a bonus when you have a long stay. My only criticism would be the coffee, and the lack of options such as a fried egg at breakfast - I appreciate the latter is because of the Express brand, but the coffee supplier should be changed.

The room was exactly as it appeared in the photo, we had a standard double and it was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities as described. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Good choice for breakfast, a machine for coffee or hot chocolate, croissants and muffins, fruits and cereals, cooked breakfast. The only 2 disappointments for me were the sausages were more like hot dog sausages and I couldn’t get a fried egg (I asked the man who was filling the hot food trays and he said it was scrambled egg only). These weren’t an issue for me and don’t effect my rating which will still be 5 stars, would definitely stay again

Friendly and helpful staff. Cheap parking. Great breakfast. A/C & heating was not obvious to control to heat heat and would often switch entirely off even while we were in the room. Evening food was a bit disappointing.

I give it a10/10. I loved everything about Holiday Express. The room was so clean and spacious. The bed so warm and cosy. The bathroom was so so neat! The staff were so friendly. The breakfast nailed it! I highly recommend it. I am happy, satisfied and so much contented

Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍

There is limited on-site parking available, and it was full during our visit. The staff asked us to park in a public parking lot located opposite the hotel. This parking area feels somewhat isolated and does not appear secure. It was also not mentioned that parking operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The breakfast options were quite limited and did not compare favorably to those at Hilton hotels. Additionally, the rooms are very basic and do not include a refrigerator.
