Mint House Greenville – Downtown

This is a nice clean property with fantastic views of the Reedy Falls area. It's in an ideal location for enjoying downtown Greenville because everything to see is in walking distance. We appreciated how responsive the management was during a power outage caused by the recent bomb-cyclone weather event. Despite the weather we stayed comfortable and warm inside the property. The property does not have guest parking, but there are many easy and close options for parking.

Mint House downtown is a good location walkable to restaurants& ballpark. No parking at this location. Had to park at nearby hotel ramp

This is a great place to stay. I would suggest parking at the parking deck close to the river. It’s $7 per day and really safe. Mint house is right in downtown and within walking distance to the food hall and several other areas. A great deal and place to stay.

I really enjoyed this property. Very clean. Lots of space. Nice location. Best price. Only downfall is the parking. There is none with the complex. You have to pay to park or hope to find an after hours spot close. Everything else about this was phenomenal. Kinda surprised that they didn't even have vouchers as guests of the owners of the building.

Great value. Room was clean and nice. Would recommend to others. Location is great too. Only wish you could park in the lot by the hotel.

The parking situation stinks. 2-hour parking in front of building then have to find a parking garage blocks away to park overnight. The private lot next door finally allowed me to park overnight for $10.

No onsite or otherwise reserved parking and the parking they recommended did not allow overnight parking, plus was much more expensive than a parking deck across the street. Else, was a smooth stay.

Safe & Excellent Location right downtown! Simple Modern Furnishings, Everything you need to explore right outside your door. Even city e-bikes. Stay in and cook or just choose from the many restaurants. No worries about Parking it’s a short walk only $7 overnight and you can drop off what you can’t carry there is a luggage cart when you walk through the doors. The Mint has affordable fresh grocery delivery online that can be purchased and delivered before you arrive. We enjoyed and will choose The Mint again!

Great place! Not happy with the off site parking. Did not like the fact that the Mint House reps would not give us check in info before 10 pm the day before...3 bedroom rental on a Fr...we were all on different schedules and no one knew how to check in.

I enjoyed my stay here in a 1-bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The only negative about it was that the walls were thin and I could hear someone coughing at a normal volume in the next apartment. The only other issue was that the instructions about where to park (since Mint House doesn't have parking) were insufficient. They stated that guests could park at 171 Riverplace for $7 a day. But there was no building marked "171", and I needed help from valets at the nearby Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites to find it. They should state that parking for $7 a day is available at the city-owned garage with an entrance immediately adjacent to the Hampton Inn.

The property looked slightly unkempt. Staining on the bedding, couch and headboard. The shower product dispenser was rusting and looked genuinely terrible, looked like you’d get tetanus from touching it not to exaggerate. One of the pumps wasn’t even attached to the bottle properly. No TV in the bedroom which isn’t a big deal, just not something I see frequently. Everything else was fairly standard !!

The place has very strong odor and my family is sensitive to fragrances . The room was not as clean as we had hoped. Overall it just seems expensive for what we got!

The apartment that we stayed in was very clean and stocked with clean towels, coffee pods. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was very quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

The floors in the room were sticky and the walls had marks on them.

Easy check in, great location, very clean

This property was great. We had never stayed in anything other than a hotel so we were nervous there would be issues but everything went perfectly. It was extremely clean and had towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap in all of the bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with dishes silverware etc. We were very comfortable and would definitely do this again.

The building was secure and felt very clean. The apartment was clean and well appointed. It was very quiet until 5am and then there was some noise, maybe from another apartment? I couldn't determine the source but i assume it was a one-off, an inconsiderate guest. Would definitely stay here again. The location is also great.

Beds were comfortable and very convenient to main street. The note so good includes...The place did not note parking wasn't included till after you book it, the place lacked adequate amount of towels for 4 adults, the pocket door to bathroom didn't lock from master bedroom, there were drink rings that were sticky next to master bed (wasn't clean), crumbs under the small dining table (wasn't swept/cleaned) plus the seating was for 3 people, the blinds in livingroom were missing a couple of slats and no chain to move them...we were on the 2 floor facing the street (hilly street), so people could see in. Won't stay there again.

The place was ok however was not too happy about the sound quality you can hear from every room in the apartment, including the other unit. This explain why they leave complimentary ear plugs for the sound. This was my only issue and the bathroom are join to each room with no way to lock the door.

Great place to stay, large rooms with a full kitchen was really nice. Less expensive than the other hotels in the area. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect but we were disappointed with the lack of water pressure, harsh lighting, and the bed was extremely low to the ground. We could not hang our dresses or long skirts due to the closet. The closet bar was also extremely low. We were looking forward to the stay unfortunately the furnishings did not live up to expectations.

We had a great stay! But unfortunately, we were in unit 2B and light shining in the master bedroom from the lamp post outside made it very hard to get to sleep. A little but very important detail! The eye mask was a nice suggestion, but super uncomfortable and scratchy. People want to get a good night sleep while on vacation! Everything was else perfect. This is my fourth stay at Mint House Greenville!

Property was good, and perfect for our trip to Greenville. If you’re staying in room 2D, there is a fluorescent Sun outside the window at night so plan for that if you like a dark room. The A/C couldn’t keep up. The room stayed 73-70 when set to 69°, maybe a fan in the master would help move air around, but it wasn’t unbearable. Would stay here again.

Lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a great location. I was in town for medical reasons and only needed to park in the area in the evening. I was able to find free parking on the street easily between 6pm -9am. The only negative was the music noise from the Orange Theory Fitness gym below my 2nd floor apartment that started at 5am.

Really great option instead of hotel in downtown area. Sounds are magnified & very loud.

The location is perfect! The apartment was quiet, and extremely clean! The only things I would say to fix anything would be to have a tv in the master. We really wanted to lay in bed and watch movies ! The pull out sofa in the living room did great for that. The water pressure in the shower was very low. Overall we loved it!

Great Space- Virtual check in was very fast did it in the parking lot and was approved . Had some questions and called the Host who responded and answered our questions on the spot.

The communication for the check in process was abysmal. All check in info was digital (no on site personnel). We were given 3 different time periods that we would receive the check in info/codes finally received the info an hr before check in time. Outside door code worked, room code didn’t work so had to call the customer service #. The person I spoke to was dismissive and would ask me a question then not let me talk. We prepaid for parking and parking pass was not in the room like promised. Has to call about the pass, waited almost 2 hrs for someone to arrive with it (never showed up) then had to text customer support about it to be told there was a box downstairs we could get a pass from. Where to park was not clear either. Location and price were great but the check in process needs work.

Gorgeous property but self check in was impossible due to the onsite computer system. Had to wait in 90 degree weather with the family and call Min House customer service (who incidentally never resolved the issue). Thankfully were let into lobby by another person and we were able to get into our room to access the lobby passes from there.

First they kept saying they weren't receiving my security deposit payment, but as soon as i showed them it had gone through not once but twice, all of a sudden, it was "a miscommunication"...luckily i checked my bank account before allowing them to run it again like they wanted to do. Also, when I called to straighten any confusion up more quickly since I was driving to the hotel at that time, I was told that they cannot help me over the phone and I needed to respond to the texts being sent with any questions... oookay...so I did this, and THEN, they kept stating they were sending over the check-in info by text and email shortly, but it wasn't until I requested they reimburse me for the time I was not able to enter the room that MAGICALLY it came through text to me...mind you, this was an HOUR after check-in with my family and i waiting with our luggage. Then, after returning from dinner, the room was 76* inside, and no matter what the AC is on, it never gets any colder...at 8am, it finally made it down to 74*. The property was clean, and spacious, with a great location, but the customer service was crap, they somehow blamed ME for them not getting me check-in info on time even though all texts and emails were working just fine...since I was already texting and emailing things to them throughout my drive there, and to top everything off, we got to sleep in a sauna without any tv's or fans in the bedrooms to help take your mind off sweating all night.

We had zero communication prior to check in which made it very frustrating. Thankfully someone was there even though it clearly said this was a property with no check in lobby or staff. After our incredibly confusing and frustrating beginning, we did enjoy our stay. This property was perfect for our stay, great location, felt safe and so close to everything we wanted. They clearly don’t have a perfect system, too many flaws for us to consider staying here again. Maybe they’ll improve with time. I did send a message when we needed some codes/keys/directons, but the message was just a canned response that offered no solutions. Areas that need improving: communication and check in instructions. We were given none. Over all the apartment was great, but our experience was not.

Was a very spacious two-bedroom unit that was close to downtown and near many restaurants. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. Safe area so no concerns walking from place to place. Rooms were clean and was awesome having a full kitchen. The customer service personnel were super pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to my next stay.

The arrival was terrible especially since I was traveling with my mom and aunt who are in their 80s. Im still waiting on the 25% discount I was told I would receive instead of a refund for the first night. Check in at 3 pm , we were able to finally get in the room at 11:57 pm. Four different emails with wrong codes. Miscommunication internally with the Mint House reps.

The check in process was a mess. We were told we did not pay for our stay and needed to call Expedia. I had the credit card statement showing our payment. We got a later call from mint house saying they were wrong after we were on the phone with Expedia over an hour. I had to fill out the background check twice before it worked and we were standing at the door by the time we got the code. We were on the phone 6-7 times trying to figure out the check in…. The place had quite a few minor issues. Overall pretty clean. Way too much hassle to check in.

Absolutely excellent location - only a block away from everything in downtown Greenville. Great setup with everything you need in the apartment. Highly recommend it.

Great property and location. Many shops, restaurants and the Reedy river in close walking distance. Condo was clean and comfortable, beds and bedding were comfortable. You get hotel like amenities with the benefit of having a full kitchen and living area to spend down time with the people you are traveling with when you are not out and about. The only challenges are no market in walking distance and there is not a designated parking garage. There is public parking close by that's only $7 a day. It just a challenge if you tend to pack a lot of bags like I do. They do have a couple luggage carts.

Very central but more like an apt than a hotel. Downside is a very limited concierge and no restaurant. Upside is lots of extras like a relatively good kitchen and washer/dryer as well as more space than a traditional hotel room. There is no parking, but there are a couple of free options close and u can park free on the street from about 4pm to 11am (depending on signage) and there was always spots nearby at night.
