AVOID!! Owner flat out lied. Listing stated AC and when I messaged to say please can the AC be put on in our room she said yes it is warm we will cool it down for you. No AC at property. Also shared bathroom which listing never stated. Ended up leaving as the place was horrible and booking elsewhere and fighting to get it refunded. I would never stay here

I fully recommend this hotel. Very friendly, proffecional duty manager, even carried my bag upstairs! Very dog friendly, clean comfortable rooms & bathroom in a beautiful edwardian arts & crafts house with a lovely swimming pool, bbq, outdoor kitchen etc. Owner Joanne was so welcoming & I fully encourage anyone flying from Gatwick to stay here.

Check in was very flexible as I was late so I just called and they talked me through self check in. Lovely owner. Room was tidy but quite dusty and very cold, no option to put heater on. Also note the bathroom is shared: I probably missed this while booking.

Possibly the worst experience with Hotel.com I have can in the last 15 years. I changed my train times to accommodate 10.00pm check in. But even at 9.00pm there was no one to help. A bizarre experience of being shown to a multiple habitation attic room by a young lady who spoke no English was later discounted by the owner as a fiction of my making, after I managed to reinterpret the message pinned on the front door and rouse her. The facilities were barely adequate, cold water tap didn’t work, window blind collapsed when I used it, though the bed was comfortable. I can not recommend this place at all.
