Studio 6 Albuquerque NM Midtown

This Motel 6 was excellent. New rooms. Security during the night. Nice clean pool. Nice room. Would stay there again for sure.

Rooms were large and super clean. Staff was great the area was a little less than desirable but they were on top of security so we felt safe. The pool wasn’t open so that was a bummer for the kids but otherwise excellent for the price

Solid room, clean, everything works. Lighting is a bit limited and so is parking for my U-Haul, but no major complaints.

For being at the interstate exchange it was an alright place to stay.

Room was definitely not clean, door would not open easily, bums sleeping in front of property. Great A/C, fridge, quiet on the Studio 6 side.

Comfortable bed and right off the free way. Unfortunately there was no hot water so we were unable to shower. Also, there was still food in the fridge.

Clean!

There were stains on the towels, the vent was caked with dirt, roach food lying around, the place must have been infested but they didn’t not attempt to clean the remnants. The security bolt was not functioning so they placed a somewhat security barrier if there was an attempt to break in the door would have a 2-3 inch opening which would allow the burglars to break the security barrier. The bed frame could’ve been wiped down, the kitchenette table, counter and shelves were dirty. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and from the looks of it, it has gone down hill. I will never stay here again.

The rooms were clearly newly renovated and very clean. The motel is located next to the I-25 and I-40 interchange so there was constant traffic noise. All in all this is a very nice Motel 6, not fancy but clean and comfortable. We had a plumbing issue in the middle of the night and the staff promptly offered us another room to sleep for the rest of our night. By the time we returned from breakfast the repairs were done and the room was cleaned so we could move back.

The staff was great and responsive. The cleansers odor was too strong and lingered too long in the room. The noise from the fwy was too loud and guests arriving late at night made a lot of noise, too. The windows are thin and you could hear every sound.

What a surprise! We got a small two room apartment with two rooms each with a queen bed, a generous bathroom and a full kitchen. What more would one want?

Lovely room; suite with full size fridge and kitchen equipment. Clean and nice, huge bed very good.

There was no internet/wifi and no tv.

WoW by far the best M6 I have ever stayed at hands down. Huge king bed great TV and full fridge.Room looked brand new.

I would rate cleanliness average. I was told housecleaning would appear every day but there was no evidence of this in spite of leaving dirty towels on the floor. The lock system was “wobbly” installed, but with effort, was able to make it work. My charges were confusing with me being charged part of my friends bill who resided in another hotel room. Would not recommend to friends.

The room was nice as a studio with different rooms for each bed, but very noisy from highway traffic. Also the room had a kitchenette and the coffee pot had moldy coffee grounds still in it and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. When I mentioned it to the front desk , they were rude about it. Attempted to replace the coffee maker , but did not provide the right filters or any sugar , cream , stirrers, I had to ask. And never was able to make coffee both mornings. Awful experience with this stay. The hotel listing needs to reflect possible highway noise.

We just had a one-night stay in route to our final destination, and the Studio 6 (Motel 6 upgrade) worked out just fine for us. The desk clerk heard our request for a 1st story room and was able to adjust our reservation to get us in one. 👍. The location was close to restaurants for dinner and very near the freeway entrance we needed to. Continue on our trip in the morning. 👍👍

I booked this place in months in advance.. then on the day we are supposed to check in I call to let them know we are about 45 minutes away. Then I get told that they over booked and I don’t have a room with them.. but yet I still get charged. I tried calling allll the numbers and can’t get through to ANYONE..

Rude Staff

The electronic lock on the door didn’t work. The keycard would say “unlocked” but the door wouldn’t open. I went to the front desk and the guy behind the desk walked back to the room with me to try it himself. He tried it probably 50 times with no luck (how many times does it take to realize that exactly what I said was true?) He then said he could give me another room but told me it would be an upcharge. I said I’m not paying MORE for a room when it’s their fault that their stuff doesn’t work. He called his manager and said they could find me another room. I asked how I’m going to get my stuff out of my room and he looked at me like I was crazy. He said he would have to get maintenance up there to get the door open, but he had no idea how long that would be. I demanded that they send them up there NOW. Maintenance finally got the door open and I was told that since it’s working now, I won’t be getting a new room. The next morning, the door wasn’t working again. But we were checking out, so whatever. When I went to check out, another guest was yelling at the front desk clerk about the same exact thing. Horrible customer service. There are transients and shady people wandering around the parking lot like zombies all night long. Avoid this place.

We enjoyed our stay and felt like we got a good deal for our visit. The room was cozy and comfortable and the staff at the front were friendly and receptive. The area was safe and in short driving distance of many shops, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cheaper option with a better value.

This hotel was close to the hospital we had appointments at early the next day. Pet friendly, clean and comfortable.

Excellent location on frontage road that links both I25 and I40. This is a former Motel 6 in the midst of a major renovation into studios for long term travel stay. Looking forward to my next visit in the near future.

Recently renovated, or so it looked. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. The location was perfect; 20-25 minutes from almost everywhere we went.
