We only stayed one night so the room was adequate given the short stay. The room seemed very dated and small. The shower worked just fine was a little small and slippery for my standards. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the ac was a blessing. The furniture in the rest of the building was beautiful but our room not too great.

The hotel is very traditional in style with the most charming staff (? owners.) As a solo woman traveller I appreciated that the area felt safe, although the main road is a little noisy. It’s easy to walk from the train station along the canal & everything I wanted to see was also walkable.

We loved our stay. We wanted somewhere with a bit of French charm and Hotel Montsegur was perfect. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, the room really comfy and clean, and the whole place has lots of character. There’s easy parking in a gated car park in front of the hotel, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and the Old City is around a 20 minute walk away. We’d definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family room with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the parents versus children. It is a traditional hotel and everyone was so friendly. There is secure parking up front. One can walk to the main place and shops easily.
