Très bon établissement. Personnel très agréable et souriant. Les restaurants en all inclusive ne sont pas exceptionnel mais il y a de quoi contenter tout le monde. Le petit chemin côtier aux abords de l'hôtel est agréable et surprenant. Il vous faudra toutefois traverser les favelas à pied pour rejoindre la cala de tortugas pour une baignade en compagnie des tortues (si vous êtes chanceux). Les piscines sont chauffées a 26°C et très propre. Attention tout de fois aux petits malins qui réservent leurs transats dès 7h00 malgré l'interdiction de le faire. On a en tout cas passé un super séjour. Merci a toute l'équipe du Buenavista.

Family of 4. Superb value for money. 3 pools to keep kids entertained (4th adults only) with some good entertainment. Restaurant overlooking sea was superb. Speciality italian was exceptional standard. The friday night white party was one of best parties ive been to in a hotel. Would pay for that! 3 minor points. No ice cream during day for kids unlike other all inclusive brands. Glass allowed around pool. Sports pool was cutting so many peoples (4+ a day) feet after water polo but lifeguard didnt seem to do anything - may have been cut tile - hoepfully fixed now. End on a positive - kahoot quiz was great fun! We will no doubt return.

CONS: I'm very big on food and I just wasn't pleased with meals here. I've eaten at many all inclusive resorts and this was my least favorite. No beach access (very disappointing) No late night sports bar PROS: Loved the adult only pool. The nightly entertainment was decent. The self serve beer/wine stations were cool.

Our stay was massively impaired by the hotel management's inability to prevent the complete occupancy of the places at the pools by towel reservations. Our almost daily reminders to the hotel management that all free places at the pools (except the children's pool) were already fully occupied with towels between 6 and 7 am were ignored. Attempts to become active in removing the towels ourselves were prevented by "pool boys"!

Hotel great but they need to stop people ‘reserving’ sun beds from 6am onwards, it was really ridiculous, no sun beds left by 9am and hardly anyone in sight - but all the beds covered with towels. It made the hotel feel like a cheap 1 star motel rather than anything high end. Disappointed overall because of this.

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Sehr gutes, sauberes Hotel, freundliche und gut gelaunte Mitarbeiter, überdurchschnittlich gute Reinigungskräfte und eine gute Auswahl beim buffet inkl guter Qualität. Für Familien gibt es im Hotel viele Attraktionen und ein entsprechendes Abendprogramm. Ausflüge bzw. Sehenswürdigkeiten müssen mit dem Bus oder Auto angefahren werden, da nicht ganz so zentral, allerdings hat man zB zu Las Américas eine gute Anbindung von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

Hemos estado en otros RIU y me parece que a este le falta variedad en los buffet. La señorita que hace los cuartos a las 9 am tocaba la puerta como si hubiera alguna emergencia. Hubo un día que regresamos a las 3 pm al cuarto y todavía no lo hacía cuando desde las 9 estaba apurada por hacerlo, entró a la recámara y solo hizo la cama. Al día siguiente al regresar de pasear entramos al cuarto, las camas mal hechas, no sacó la basura de los cuartos, no dejó toallas limpias, no limpió el cuarto. La mayoría de las personas de los restaurantes amables pero habían dos muchachas en particular que eran bastante groseras.

We've always wnjoyed our stay at Riu. Check in and out super easy. The use of the Riu app to make restsurant reservationds, special room requests, and maintenance repairs easy to make. Poperty is clean and well kept.

RIU Buenavista was was fantastic. Everything in the hotel complex was as advertised. Rooms were spacious and really clean. Bathrooms were new and the view from the balcony over the coast was majestic.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Buenavista. Hervorzuheben sind auf jeden Fall die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Familienzimmer war gross und geräumig und für unsere Ansprüche absolut perfekt. Einziges Manko ist, dass die Zimmer doch sehr hellhörig sind und somit nichts für jemanden, der die absolute Ruhe sucht. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und auch die Kinder haben jederzeit etwas gefunden. Das Phänomen des Liegen per Handtuch reservieren war sehr ausgeprägt, wir haben aber dennoch jederzeit noch ein Plätzchen gefunden. Alles in allem für Familien zu sehr zu empfehlen und wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Super hôtel mais sincèrement 2 choses à améliorer isolations des chambres car des les 7 h les chariots avec les femmes de ménages et ça fait un bruit horrible de plus les gens qui passent d devants les chambres à tout heure du coup vous dormez pas beaucoup Manques des installations des jeux et piscine enfants car pour le nombre de personne piscine et super petite pour les enfants avec les installations vétustes. Les repas super l’endroit aussi les personnes très adorables.

Nous avons passé 10 jours formidables dans cet hôtel. La vue sur la mer est splendide, les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et bien équipées. Les repas sont de qualité avec plusieurs restaurants sur réservation via l’application Riu. Vu la situation de l’hôtel il est préférable de louer une voiture si vous voulez explorer l’île. Il est facile de trouver de la place à proximité.

I’ve been to different RIU in Caribbean and this by far is worse one I’ve ever been too. I’ve been to RIU Costa Rica and Jamaica Ocho rios and Negril. It was very disappointing the lack entertainment. When I stay at inclusive I expect it to have basics to not have to leave the hotel. They had four pools and only one pool had music and it was replay of 6 songs from pop music of 1980’s. I went to lobby and was told that it family hotel and that this is not the Caribbean. You’re suppose to be original place in the brand and that in itself is complete disappointment! All RIUS are family hotels so the statement that it family hotel as to why you provide lack of basic music 🎶 is sorry excuse. The buffets lacked variety and were similar menu. The restaurant was buffet style as well had little variation to main buffet. The hotel was very clean and grounds were absolutely stunning. The staff was rude they rarely came to even pour water unless we asked. They were not treating all the guests that way just seem to be us. Bring your things to entertain yourself because they are not providing much entertainment.

The hotel was amazing , all the staff were very friendly and professional, very helpful, every single staff member were smiling all the time, even when they had worked a lot of hours, nothing was to much trouble for them, right across the board, restaurants staff, bar staff house keeping staff , entertainment staff, all of them an amazing team that made our hoilday perfect . It was our first time going to a Riu hotel and we will certainly be going back, I work in hospitality so I know how hard it is , and I could tell that the staff all mix in together brilliant and thank you for an amazing time with entertainment every night perfect . Hemos estado en otros RIU y me parece que a este le falta variedad en los buffet. La señorita que hace los cuartos a las 9 am tocaba la puerta como si hubiera alguna emergencia. Hubo un día que regresamos a las 3 pm al cuarto y todavía no lo hacía cuando desde las 9 estaba apurada por hacerlo, entró a la recámara y solo hizo la cama. Al día siguiente al regresar de pasear entramos al cuarto, las camas mal hechas, no sacó la basura de los cuartos, no dejó toallas limpias, no limpió el cuarto. La mayoría de las personas de los restaurantes amables pero habían dos muchachas en particular que eran bastante groseras.

Härligt läge med stor möjlighet att röra på sig längs med havet och utforska andra delar av ön. maten var god men inte så variationsrik. Lugnare på restaurang Grill både vid frukost och på kvällen. Dock måste man boka för kvällen i deras app. Gäller även de två övriga Mandalay och Dolce Vita, lite synd att det bara finns två tider att välja på, på de två den ena lite för tidigt 18.30 och den andra lite sen 20.30. Vinerna höll inte heller riktigt måttet. Cavan var god och drinkarna i baren i lobbyn funkade bättre än nere vid poolerna.

Il est facile de trouver de la place à proximité.

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Sehr gutes, sauberes Hotel, freundliche und gut gelaunte Mitarbeiter, überdurchschnittlich gute Reinigungskräfte und eine gute Auswahl beim buffet inkl guter Qualität. Für Familien gibt es im Hotel viele Attraktionen und ein entsprechendes Abendprogramm. Ausflüge bzw. Sehenswürdigkeiten müssen mit dem Bus oder Auto angefahren werden, da nicht ganz so zentral, allerdings hat man zB zu Las Américas eine gute Anbindung von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

Väldigt trevligt hotell men för att få en plats på de övriga restaurangerna så krävs det att man bokar väldigt snabbt dagen innan. Blev tyvärr matförgiftad av skaldjuren på den vanliga buffén, annars väldigt bra utbud på mat.

The food was less desirable at the grill restaurant. Chicken wasn’t properly cooked and lacked flavor. The ribs were undercooked as well. The chefs at all the restaurants should pay attention to the food before leaving the kitchen, sometimes they lack flavor. But overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I had a great time.

The first overseas trip I took my 6 yr old and 4 yr old daughters. Pleasant food and accommodations. It was a wonderful stay and beautiful scenery. Only negative thing was all pools closed at 630pm daily, which were too early for the kids
