Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Tampa - Fairgrounds - Casino

Parking was limited, Friday staff only activated our room keys for one night when we had a two night stay and it took a few times hitting the button before he came out, but weekend staff was great and available.

The room was spacious and clean. The location is convenient. The staff is nice. The fitness center is sorely lacking. The water pressure in the shower is mediocre.

It fit the bill perfectly! I was able to travel home with clean clothes thanks to their 24 hour laundry facilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This was an easy and inexpensive place to stay. It wasn't completely clean but livable. Room had a bit of a musty smell to it. Easy walk to amphitheater for a show. Its located a little further away but I prefer that because you dont get all the loud noice after the show. Staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was small, yogurt, muffins and coffee. Parking was super easy and convenient. I would stay there again.

Clearly, this is an updated property. Looks up to date and room felt clean. The actual neighborhood, which is industrial, felt cringe and unsafe. I never feared for my life, but had motel 6 sketch vibes. Front doors are locked from 10pm till 7am. Tells u how safe thr area may or may not be. Staff at midnight (when i checked in) was polite and informative. No complaints. Morning staff couldn't be more unfriendly. No eye contact. Would not say a word. Weird. Not hospitable or friendly. Not a bad experience but have had enormously better stays at other places like Candlewood.

It was a bit out of the way but we had a car to go get meals. Minimal amenities. No pool. Workers were friendly and accommodating.

This property is out of the way a little but close to everything. We were here for a concert at the Fairgrounds and also leaving out for a cruise. There are many options for shopping/dining within a couple of miles. The property is clean and staff friendly. Our room was clean. The only thing I can ding them on is no pool and also no hot breakfast. Just grab n go items. Would definitely stay here again.

The parking situation was not good, It was difficult to find spaces, but the rest of our stay was great!

Our room had an awful smell of mildew and mold. We all woke up bothering sinus issues from breathing it. This is enough for this rating alone. The bed felt wet from the humid air in the room and I didn’t want to sleep under the blankets. “Breakfast” is two bags of mini muffins and coffee. The elevator got stuck and was struggling to work. For some reason this was the highest rated property around the MidFlorida amphitheater. That’s a mistake. We will try a different property next time.

Super nice property conveniently located on 301. Friendly staff and comfy rooms. Perfect for a week long work trip. Limited breakfast, but property more than made up for it. Highly recommended for cleanliness.

Dirty room and full of bugs

While the staff was very nice, our room smelled like mold and there was hair in the shower. Breakfast was gross and there were homeless people everywhere.

Spotless clean! Love it! It felt good walking in!

Our stay was great. When I first checked in i didnt realize that she had charged me more than what i had signed up for. The next morning the clerk made it right. The hotel seems fairly new and well kept.

The room is full of spiders and spider webs. We had to call for them to clean and remove the spiders from the walls and roof. The ratings do not represent the reality of the hotel. It remained to reverse the charges made given the bad experience lived.

Very clean

The hotel was nice. The only thing we had an issue with was the room was very hot when we first got there. We turned the A/C down to cool off the room then went out to a concert for the evening. When we returned after the hot concert, the A/C was off and the room was hot again. It took a while for the room to cool off for us to sleep comfortably.

Room was clean but you hear every foot step in the room above you. Also the a/c is not the best on keeping the room cool.

The hotel overall wasn’t bad. The AC worked great and the beds were comfy. Wish I knew their complimentary breakfast was a small grab and go. The shower had very low water pressure and didn’t get the job done.

Double queen beds rooms were spacious for a family of 4 & very clean

The only thing I didn’t like was that it the basic place to stay. I thought it was weird that I had to ask for a hair dryer at the front desk.

Very nice but you can hear other guests closing hotel doors in the hallway extremely loud. The doors are just heavy and shut very loud/bang which was annoying when you are trying to sleep.

Overall good stay for one night. Clean & spacious room. Super friendly staff. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything!!! Elevator was out of service. Breakfast very limited and was basically packaged breakfast bars and coffee

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and you could hear every food step anyone made in the hallway or in the hall or room above us. We were woken up several times, both nights, from someone simoly walking around their room above us.

Your desk clerk, Jackee who set an exemplary model of the patience, adeptness of and sincere appreciation for the consumer. A six deep line at the counter and no one walked away unhappy. Her full control of every situation was impressive! She is an amazing asset to your company. Her boss should know this.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean property. Conveniently located near state fairground and sportsplex.

No one was here at 10 p.m. for check in. And somebody was waiting to get a room already. Horrible !!!!

Couldn’t check in for 20 minutes around 8pm because the front desk staff was out doing good knows what. Finally checked in, went up to room, immediately headed back down to ask for a spoon for ice cream we bought to eat before relaxing for bed. Once again, staff nowhere to be found. Tries calling the front desk for another 30 minutes - nothing. I won’t stay at another one of these extended stay hotel. Horrible experience for a one night stay.

From the moment we stepped onto this property, it was not a good experience. They gave a room that was next to a loud, barking dog. The bigger problem was that the room was occupied. Ok, mistakes happen. Here’s where it went wrong…we went to the front desk to tell them it’s occupied and all he said was he’d have to go up and see what’s going on. What? Am I supposed to wait for someone to be kicked out and the room cleaned at 11:00 pm? We were exhausted and wanted our room. I requested another room but was told there was no other room. Ok stranded with no room now. I asked for my money back and they couldn’t give me my money back until the next day! After sitting in the parking lot for an hour trying to find another hotel (without success), my husband goes back in and tells them to book us at another one of their locations. Instead, they somehow found another room for us. This could’ve all been alleviated with an electronic room system. Instead, they have their unoccupied rooms on paper and didn’t correct it when a patron changed to our room. No hair dryer in the room. Also, I specifically booked this room for the free breakfast due to an early flight. Absolutely ZERO breakfast…AND they were out of coffee. This place needs an overhaul on appropriate planning for a full house. They also need to do a better job on trying to separate patrons with pets from patrons with no pets…like LaQuinta does. On a positive note, the room was incredibly clean and very comfortable to sleep in.

No one at check in counter for 30 minutes after arrival. Toilet ran all night. Refrigerator fan very noisy, had to turn off. Questionable people hanging around and in hotel. Mgr offered nothing on check. Worst experience everyone

Super convenient when staying for a concert at the amphitheater.

The room was clean and comfortable but the location was not ideal and there were not many restaurants nearby. The staffat front desk was friendly.

Our 3 night stay was great! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. The location was less than 10 minutes from the Hard Rock Casino. We will book there again.

Location is quite remote and public transport is not available.

What an awesome facility! I rate it 10 out of 10. From the terrific rate for room, to a very comfortable bed, super clean, mini-kitchen with frig, microwave & mini-electric cooking range. The 4 Stars is just not many food options close-by. I am a local so I knew where to go but if an out of towner it nay pose a minor issue. I highly recommend staying here!

Maybe okay for a quick over night stay, but don't expect much. Breakfast consisted of coffee, muffins and fruit bars.

It was good and the room was clean, but the breakfast options were really lacking.

That’s ok for 1 night, they no have really breakfast , it’s only coffee and muffins on the package. Very disappointing!!

Overall, we’ll file this under “you get what you pay for“ Pros: not expensive. All public areas and room were clean. Cons: tv signal was out most of the time. Charge for phone call to get WiFi to work(we had charge removed at checkout). Breakfast consisted of muffins, yogurt, instant grits and oatmeal, coffee, tea, and instant hot chocolate. This area could really use some improvement.

We experienced issues with water pressure in the shower. Overall is fine experience. The breakfast is very limited: coffee, muffins and yogurt.
