Ero in viaggio di lavoro e mi sono imbattuto in questo Bellissimo palazzo storico in tipico stile toscano , con una incredibile vista sulla valle e un ampio giardino/ terrrazza. La stanza era ampia e comoda , perfetta per il mio soggiorno di una notte. Il personale ha dimostrato cortesia e professionalita mi ha fatto sentire piú che a mio agio. Sicuramente ritorneró.

The views across the valley were truly stunning. The staff were amazing especially Julia. The breakfast outstanding and our evening meal on the terrace was so very memorable with local wine made less than a mile away. Sadly the lift was not working which made things challenging. The hotel is steeped in history dating back to the 14th century but the rooms are looking a little tired. Overall we had a wonderful time, our 1st stay in Italy.

Un luogo particolare, molto suggestivo è collocato nel l’edificio medievale. Arredato con gusto, con una vista panoramica mozzafiato nella zona riservata per la colazione. La camera ( la nostra era una tripla) spaziosissima, dove il terzo letto era un letto vero e proprio e non un divano oppure una brandina. Entrambi i letti dotati dei materassi alti e comodissimi, si dormiva molto bene. Nella struttura c’è anche un ristorante ( con gli interni molto suggestivi, in stile medievale), però funziona solo in stagione. La colazione a buffet è abbastanza ricca e variegata. La signorina alla reception è bravissima, gentilissima ed era pronta di risolvere ogni nostro problema. Tante grazie anche alla signora che ci serviva a colazione. Molto attenta e gentile. Note dolenti: serve un po’ di manutenzione del bagno e in stanza ( macchie sulle pareti e sulle piastrelle in bagno, la plastica di battiscopa e presa rotte in camera) e le pulizie alle finestre panoramiche dell’ascensore. Ma questi piccoli e sicuramente risolvibili difetti non devono condizionare la scelta di prenotare in questo hotel, perché l’esperienza positiva è praticamente assicurata. P.S. I cioccolatini alla reception sono favolosi!🙃

Note dolenti: serve un po’ di manutenzione del bagno e in stanza ( macchie sulle pareti e sulle piastrelle in bagno, la plastica di battiscopa e presa rotte in camera) e le pulizie alle finestre panoramiche dell’ascensore. Super hyggeligt gammelt hotel i mange niveauer (der er elevator) i en lille landsby med breathtaking udsigt over de toskanske bjerge. Så roligt og så italiensk. Super lækkert mad i restauranten (de har også glutenfri og laktosefri) og fantastisk service overalt. Selvom hotellet har set bedre dage, er vi vilde med det - det har noget helt unikt og autentisk over sig. Vi upgradede til værelse med balkon og en bjergtagende udsigt - en absolut rimelig pris for sådan et view. Virkelig gode senge og gode puder. Også nemt at komme til uden bil, fra Pisa (ca. 20 minutter) og derefter en kort bustur (der kan også bestilles taxa, men gør det forud via hotellet, da der kun er en taxa i området). Poolen er ikke stor, men den er der (ca. 1,5 km. derfra ligger en campingplads med en stor pool, hbis du vil svømme). Vi tog en aftendrink i byens bar, så hyggeligt. En helt unik oplevelse alt i alt.

Das Hotel selbst ist zwar älter, strahlt aber keineswegs Abnutzung aus, sondern überzeugt mit seinem authentischen toskanischen Charme. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und bieten alles, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den phänomenalen Ausblick – egal ob aus dem Zimmer, vom Pool oder vom Frühstücksbereich, überall kann man die traumhafte Umgebung genießen. Sehr praktisch sind die drei großen Parkplätze für viele Autos, die etwa 100–150 Meter vom Hotel entfernt liegen. Sie sind kostenlos, gut beschildert und daher leicht zu finden – man hat wirklich nie Parkplatzsorgen. Ein Hotel mit Herz, Charme und großartiger Lage – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little sun. Dinner is available on property and is served on the downstairs terrace. We had dinner as the sun was setting, it was spectacular! Breakfast was included and was well appointed. Hot eggs, cereals, yougart, pastries, and fruit. The staff will make coffee/tea to order and deliver it to your table…with a stunning morning view. Our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to explore the town, but I’m sure there’s some interesting things around. We will definitely book this place again.

We were looking forward to be in a location based in the nature to calm down and rest. Most of the pictures are taken of rooms facing the landscape unfortunately they also have some facing the street. Just in front of the hotel there is a gathering place of the locals and additionally it's kind of a main road, so we woke up many times during the night and the morning. Additionally they have some mold in the rooms and the bathroom. Such a pity!

Un hotelito muy bonito en un edificio histórico en este pequeño pueblo de la Toscana. Personal muy agradable. La habitación que escogimos tenía una vista muy bonita. En general, todo limpio y bastante bien, solo que había algunos detalles a pulir que tienen que ver con el mantenimiento general del mobiliario, pero son pequeños detalles. La pasamos bien y disfrutamos movernos desde el hotel a las otras ciudades interesantes.

Wunderschöner historischer Palazzo, das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Ein sehr gutes tiramsiu! Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und herzlich. Hauskeeping leicht verbesserungswürdig, Decke wurde abgezogen und nicht neu bezogen. Ansonsten ein traumhafter Aufenthalt in einer schönen toskanischen Unterkunft.

The restaurant next door was excellent, but more important, the hotel was as well. Clean, cute, beautiful view from the terrace. The most impressive was the staff, so helpfull and friendly. For me defintively a place to go back to.

Mi hanno dato una stanza che entrando aveva un odore terribile, fatto presente a Giulia che prontamente ha provveduto a cambiarla. Mi è stata data una stanza più grande e comoda. Unica pecca la temperatura...18 gradi, un pò freddino... Buona la colazione

Piacevole sosta in questo albergo in centro paese. Arredato gradevolmente in stile toscano con una bella veduta sulla valle. Molto piacevole anche il ristorante con piatti gustosi, personale molto gentile ed una bella vista. Gentile anche il personale al check-in che ci ha consentito di poter fare la colazione molto presto. Le stanze sono comode con aria condizionata anche se con qualche rumore proveniente dalla strada principale. Una struttura gradevole che richiederebbe qualche intervento di manutenzione per renderla ancora più piacevole.
Piacevole sosta in questo albergo in centro paese. Arredato gradevolmente in stile toscano con una bella veduta sulla valle. Molto piacevole anche il ristorante con piatti gustosi, personale molto gentile ed una bella vista. Gentile anche il personale al check-in che ci ha consentito di poter fare la colazione molto presto. Le stanze sono comode con aria condizionata anche se con qualche rumore proveniente dalla strada principale. Una struttura gradevole che richiederebbe qualche intervento di manutenzione per renderla ancora più piacevole.

Ero in viaggio di lavoro e mi sono imbattuto in questo Bellissimo palazzo storico in tipico stile toscano , con una incredibile vista sulla valle e un ampio giardino/ terrrazza. La stanza era ampia e comoda , perfetta per il mio soggiorno di una notte. Il personale ha dimostrato cortesia e professionalita mi ha fatto sentire piú che a mio agio. Sicuramente ritorneró.

We were looking forward to be in a location based in the nature to calm down and rest. Most of the pictures are taken of rooms facing the landscape unfortunately they also have some facing the street. Just in front of the hotel there is a gathering place of the locals and additionally it's kind of a main road, so we woke up many times during the night and the morning. Additionally they have some mold in the rooms and the bathroom. Such a pity!

The views across the valley were truly stunning. The staff were amazing especially Julia. The breakfast outstanding and our evening meal on the terrace was so very memorable with local wine made less than a mile away. Sadly the lift was not working which made things challenging. The hotel is steeped in history dating back to the 14th century but the rooms are looking a little tired. Overall we had a wonderful time, our 1st stay in Italy.

Stanza arredato bene, ma materasso di letto un'po trovato scomoda...forse troppo morbido. C'era vasca da bagno ma senza tappo quindi non abbiamo potuto fare bagnetto caldo...solo doccia. Colazione costa 10 euro ma molto povero niente di qualità e poco scelta. (succo di frutta troppo zuccherato !) Invece i staff sono tutti gentili e disponibili. Peccato !

What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little sun. Dinner is available on property and is served on the downstairs terrace. We had dinner as the sun was setting, it was spectacular! Breakfast was included and was well appointed. Hot eggs, cereals, yougart, pastries, and fruit. The staff will make coffee/tea to order and deliver it to your table…with a stunning morning view. Our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to explore the town, but I’m sure there’s some interesting things around. We will definitely book this place again.

Molto piacevole anche il ristorante con piatti gustosi, personale molto gentile ed una bella vista. Un hotelito muy bonito en un edificio histórico en este pequeño pueblo de la Toscana. Personal muy agradable. La habitación que escogimos tenía una vista muy bonita. En general, todo limpio y bastante bien, solo que había algunos detalles a pulir que tienen que ver con el mantenimiento general del mobiliario, pero son pequeños detalles. La pasamos bien y disfrutamos movernos desde el hotel a las otras ciudades interesantes.

Amazing, out-of-the way gem. The hotel staff were friendly, proactive and extremely helpful. The property itself is so unique--it was fun to just explore the hallways and corridors. Beautiful views of the valley, and easy to access, right in the middle of the town square.

Solid building with charming interior and outstanding views from private balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Driving and parking can be challenging as is true for many Italian towns. We liked it so much we extended our stay.

Super hyggeligt gammelt hotel i mange niveauer (der er elevator) i en lille landsby med breathtaking udsigt over de toskanske bjerge. Så roligt og så italiensk. Super lækkert mad i restauranten (de har også glutenfri og laktosefri) og fantastisk service overalt. Selvom hotellet har set bedre dage, er vi vilde med det - det har noget helt unikt og autentisk over sig. Vi upgradede til værelse med balkon og en bjergtagende udsigt - en absolut rimelig pris for sådan et view. Virkelig gode senge og gode puder. Også nemt at komme til uden bil, fra Pisa (ca. 20 minutter) og derefter en kort bustur (der kan også bestilles taxa, men gør det forud via hotellet, da der kun er en taxa i området). Poolen er ikke stor, men den er der (ca. 1,5 km. derfra ligger en campingplads med en stor pool, hbis du vil svømme). Vi tog en aftendrink i byens bar, så hyggeligt. En helt unik oplevelse alt i alt.

The views across the valley were truly stunning. The staff were amazing especially Julia. The breakfast outstanding and our evening meal on the terrace was so very memorable with local wine made less than a mile away. Sadly the lift was not working which made things challenging. The hotel is steeped in history dating back to the 14th century but the rooms are looking a little tired. Overall we had a wonderful time, our 1st stay in Italy.

Wunderschöner historischer Palazzo, das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Ein sehr gutes tiramsiu! Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und herzlich. Hauskeeping leicht verbesserungswürdig, Decke wurde abgezogen und nicht neu bezogen. Ansonsten ein traumhafter Aufenthalt in einer schönen toskanischen Unterkunft.

Stanza arredato bene, ma materasso di letto un'po trovato scomoda...forse troppo morbido. C'era vasca da bagno ma senza tappo quindi non abbiamo potuto fare bagnetto caldo...solo doccia. Colazione costa 10 euro ma molto povero niente di qualità e poco scelta. (succo di frutta troppo zuccherato !) Invece i staff sono tutti gentili e disponibili. Peccato !

Super hyggeligt gammelt hotel i mange niveauer (der er elevator) i en lille landsby med breathtaking udsigt over de toskanske bjerge. Så roligt og så italiensk. Super lækkert mad i restauranten (de har også glutenfri og laktosefri) og fantastisk service overalt. Selvom hotellet har set bedre dage, er vi vilde med det - det har noget helt unikt og autentisk over sig. Vi upgradede til værelse med balkon og en bjergtagende udsigt - en absolut rimelig pris for sådan et view. Virkelig gode senge og gode puder. Også nemt at komme til uden bil, fra Pisa (ca. 20 minutter) og derefter en kort bustur (der kan også bestilles taxa, men gør det forud via hotellet, da der kun er en taxa i området). Poolen er ikke stor, men den er der (ca. 1,5 km. derfra ligger en campingplads med en stor pool, hbis du vil svømme). Vi tog en aftendrink i byens bar, så hyggeligt. En helt unik oplevelse alt i alt.

What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little sun. Dinner is available on property and is served on the downstairs terrace. We had dinner as the sun was setting, it was spectacular! Breakfast was included and was well appointed. Hot eggs, cereals, yougart, pastries, and fruit. The staff will make coffee/tea to order and deliver it to your table…with a stunning morning view. Our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to explore the town, but I’m sure there’s some interesting things around. We will definitely book this place again.

Piacevole sosta in questo albergo in centro paese. Arredato gradevolmente in stile toscano con una bella veduta sulla valle. Molto piacevole anche il ristorante con piatti gustosi, personale molto gentile ed una bella vista. Gentile anche il personale al check-in che ci ha consentito di poter fare la colazione molto presto. Le stanze sono comode con aria condizionata anche se con qualche rumore proveniente dalla strada principale. Una struttura gradevole che richiederebbe qualche intervento di manutenzione per renderla ancora più piacevole.

The character of the hotel is everything you’d dream of from a hotel in Tuscany. The staff were helpful and charming. The breakfast and coffee were great. The room was beautiful and clean. We got a room with the balcony and it came with a magnificent view. The atmosphere of the town was so quiet and peaceful. During our stay we visited a local pizza place named Piru Pizza and it was mouth-watering. We went back twice in a week. I’ll be recommending this hotel for years to come and look forward to going back.
