Agriturismo Il Giardino di Vigliano

Very clean. The staff and service were wonderful. We very much enjoyed getting to know Valentina, Luigi and the rest of the family! And the food! Excellent.

Absolutely loved this agriturismo! The building we stayed in was built in the 1600s and is surrounded by working lemon and olive farms that have been there since the 1400s. It’s atill run by the same family. Very welcoming, manager Valentina even played the cello for us! It is just outside of Sorrento and very easy to get around because there is a bus stop just past the end of the driveway (which is long). We visited Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri and Pompeii with ease. It’s very easy to get around via ferry, bus and trains - no need for a car and I don’t think you would want one. Luigi will pick you up from the ferry or train. Each day we went exploring and came home to a gourmet farm-to-table meal prepared by Chef at 19:30. Nice selection of wines, vegetarian options. It was so relaxing and a lovely way to spend our days and nights. We visited as a couple and I think it would also be a great place for families or large groups because there are many areas to spread out and enjoy the large property. Note that there are the steps and uneven surfaces you expect in historic buildings. Thank you to Valentina, Luigi, Giovanni, Chef, and the everyone else. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

Siamo stati accolti in maniera eccezionale dalla famiglia cordiale e super disponibile che gestisce questo agriturismo. Impeccabili nell’assisterci in tutto quello di cui avevano bisogno i nostri due gemelli di 11 mesi. La terrazza è stupenda e speriamo di tornare a festeggiare qualche evento con quel panorama indimenticabile. Ottimo il servizio navetta per arrivare a Sorrento in pochi minuti. Abbiamo inoltre molto apprezzato un servizio offerto ai turisti stranieri che soggiornavano nel nostro stesso periodo: li abbiamo visti felici di stendere e condire la loro pizza; credo che per chi viene da oltre i nostri confini sia un’esperienza davvero simpatica e divertente.
