Lake Escape w/ Private Dock & Spa-like amenities

This was a great getaway! My wife and I were looking for a place to unplug and reconnect. Needless to say, this was the perfect place to do so. The steam shower and hot tub were outstanding! We had a little snag with the suana (make sure to turn it til it clicks, when turning it off). We were prunie most of the weekend. LOL!! We do wish the patio furniture was out, but understand that it is still kinda early in the season (end of April). Although we brought everything we needed, the accommodations provided anything you could have forgotten and then some. She had even left us a bag of her favorite coffee with a lovly note suggesting places to visit in the area. We woke up to deer taking a nap in the back yard and baby geese eating in the grass by the lake with their parents. It was a wonderful time and "We will be back....

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and well equipped - waffles every morning! We really enjoyed our stay. The deck is shaded almost all day and it’s easy to get to the dock.

My husband and I had an amazing stay for his birthday weekend. The spa bathroom is exceptional, but the entire home is comfortable and well-appointed with amazing views of the lake. You'll have everything you need to cook, relax and unwind. Great restaurants in town too. We'll be back for sure!

This was our first trip to Lake Antoine in Iron Mountain, the house location could not have been more perfect! We had a beautiful view of the lake with our own private pier. There is also a public boat launch right around the corner, less than a minute away. The lake was beautiful, great fishing and great recreational use! We had a chance to boat and enjoy the beach. The water was crystal clear. We also did quite a bit of fishing, we caught smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, perch, largemouth bass & rock bass. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, deer were seen walking daily with their fawns. The house was above and beyond meeting our expectations, and we enjoyed every amenity that this house offered! In the morning we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porch and watching the sunrise on the patio. After a day on the lake we enjoyed gathering around the firepit in the comfortable adirondack chairs. We even spent some time in the bathroom, which is funny to say! But they have a sauna to die for and a whirlpool for two. This host has thought of everything! If you're an outdoor enthusiast and are looking for a convenient location with quick and easy access to the lake, this is it! We also ventured into town for dinner and drinks. Everyone in town was very welcoming. It was easy to navigate to and from the town. We will for sure be coming back to this house again! Can't wait!!!

We made a great decision to use the Lakehouse as our home base for going out on daily motorcycle rides and hikes. The property has a flat paved driveway w/plenty of room. Just like the pictures show, the Lakehouse is amazing. Great view out the windows to see Lake Antoine and watch the numerous deer parade through the area. Nice to have kayak's available and a fire pit. Wonderful to come back to the house at the end of the day and use the sauna and shower or jetted tub. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. Kelley was great to deal with and provided us with information on local restaurants. Kelley has the house stocked with everything you might need and more! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Lake Escape for 30 days and explored different areas of the UP. This home was a perfect home base. We especially enjoyed the spa bathroom with whirlpool tub! The home was clean and comfortable. The setting is very quiet and peaceful with deer everywhere! Kelley is a super host!

The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed—modern amenities, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a cozy fireplace. Aside from all of that, the bathroom was the star of the show & the place that we spent most of the weekend! When we weren't taking advantage of the water works, we spent the bulk of our time watching the local family of deer play in the fresh snow.Our host was proactive, helpful & responsive, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat or a family getaway, this cabin is an excellent choice. We would definitely book again!

My wife and I spent 4 days at this property in late-September. We were not disappointed! The house is stocked top to bottom with everything you many need, and a few “they thought of everything” items from chargers in the bedroom to electric corkscrews in the kitchen. The house is beautiful and has been extensively renovated throughout. We loved the modern kitchen, the comfortable living room and bedroom, and the coolest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a rental property. We enjoyed the two person jetted tub and the walk-in sauna. Other nice perks included the gas grill on the back porch and Smart TVs in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom(!) The house is set back from the street on a long driveway. Across the street is a pretty area (also owned by this property owner) with a small dock and nice view of Lake Antoine. We enjoyed exploring the quaint town and interacting with the friendly locals. This property is amazing, we will be back!

The house was very clean and inviting when we arrived. It is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood with lots of deer, squirrels and geese in late May. (fun to watch through the big windows) It rained our first day so we gathered some groceries and made full use of the kitchen. The open concept living, dining, kitchen made cooking fun as you didn't feel isolated in another room.We enjoyed several hikes in the area and relaxed on the deck looking at the lake. The lake was really hopping on a Sat morning with boats and fishing. Communication with the host was great and we felt very relaxed the whole weekend!

Beautiful home with everything you need! I am very particular about cleanliness and I didnt have one complaint with this home. Kelley's communication is great as well. We made friends with the many deer that hung out around the house all day, enjoyed the fireplace and the jetted tub. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, don't hesitate with this one!!

My husband and I booked Kelley's Iron Mountain place during mid-January. The snow was beautiful, the lake was frozen enough for ice fishing, and the house was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked as if you were cooking from home, everything was immaculate and organized (even labeled in some cases), and every detail for a nice quiet weekend getaway was purposefully considered. Honestly, my husband and I split our time between the spa-like bathroom and the living room in chairs next to the gas fireplace. Kelley, the property manager, was communicative, informative, and kind. You'll undoubtedly enjoy booking this Vrbo.

My husband and I booked this home for our anniversary. It was in a great location and was fairly quick to get into town for shopping/dining. The lake area was gorgeous and had a small bench to sit at which we enjoyed. The house was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean and offered many amenities that I wouldn't have thought to check for (phone chargers, games, reading glasses, ect). The welcoming gift of coffee was appreciated by us too! The bathroom was really what got our attention when we booked though and that was simply amazing! Only downside (and really it wasn't a huge deal compared to all the positives) was it was hard to hear the TV since it's behind plexiglass. We ended up needing to put the volume all of the way up to hear it over the tub. But really, a minor issue. The host was amazing and helpful with recommendations and checking in periodically. Overall it was just an amazing and beautiful place to relax and enjoy our time together!

My husband and I were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with family who live in Iron Mountain. The house was very cozy, and the views were beautiful. We had deer spending all day in the backyard, waterfowl on the lake, and eagles flying overhead. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was rare for a car to drive by. The house had everything we needed for our stay, and we easily cooked several side dishes for Thanksgiving. The bed we slept on was very comfortable. If you need to work remotely while visiting, the only issue may be the internet speed if you need to have virtual meetings. It was okay but a little choppy during my meetings. Overall, it was one of the best rentals we have been to, and we will stay again when we return to town.

With so many large windows in the great room, viewing the lake and outdoors made this a delightful place to stay. This lake house is well furnished, everything is clean and works well, and has a lake-theme decor throughout the house. An outside deck, fire pit, and bench at the lake meant we spent much of our time outdoors. Deer came to visit nightly. Located in a quiet safe neighborhood, it was just a short drive to the Millie Hill Bat Viewing, Samuel Bassett Viewing Platform, Pine Mt. Ski Jump, Iron Mt. City Park and many restaurants. After a day of sightseeing, time at the Lake Antonie Park's sandy swimming beach, or fishing, there is a spa-like experience waiting in the deluxe bathroom. With a sauna, steam shower, and whirlpool tub, it was difficult to decide which to enjoy first. I highly recommend staying at Lake Escape. I plan to return in the future.

Place was great! The home was cozy and accommodating, literally couldn’t think of anything that was missing. We saw wildlife every day, enjoyed walking the neighborhood, and the lake was very peaceful. The only thing that would’ve made it better was if we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks so much for offering your space, it was wonderful! Note- For those using the dock, it’s not ideal for swimming off of, but having our boat was perfect and the rest of the lake was clear and warm! The grass was a little long by the lake, but not terrible.

The place was amazing. Family trip and the kids loved the tv in the bathroom. Oldest called it the Bluey cabin in the woods. Every little detail was thought of. Already looking forward to our next trip here!

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary! We were impressed even before our stay. Our host answered every single question we had very quickly. She also checked in with us a week before the trip to let us know she may be able to get us in early and to make sure we didnt have any questions or concerns for our upcoming trip! Once we got to the house we were even more impressed! Kelley had thought of everything you might need even down to a cocktail shaker and bar utensils and little half and half creamers. The house and was beautiful and quiet. There are neighbors but you wouldn't have known if u couldn't see the houses. We had to email kelley about a couple things once we got there and she handled it right away. We had an amazing time. It was a nice escape from our world of chaos. We are already looking forward to booking with kelley again in the near future. Thank You Kelley for sharing your gorgeous house! Hopefully we will see it again soon!

It has all the comforts of home in a quiet neighborhood along the lake with an abundance of wildlife that shows up daily. It doesn’t feel like you are in town, but you are! Not far from shopping or the beach and there are restaurants within walking distance! We hope to stay here on our future return trips to the U.P.!

We stayed 6 nights at this cozy, quiet home. It was the perfect place to hang out with a wonderful view. Coffee watching the changing scenery over the lake in the mornings was really special. Kelly was a great Hostess, having all the amenities that we needed during our stay. We look forward to coming back again soon.

This property blew my mind. It shows amazing online, but what it doesnt show is just how peaceful and serene the property really is. It is in town yet out of town and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host went above and beyond to answer any questions and make sure things went well upon arrival. I would highly recommend this place for a couples getaway especially.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the most wonderful long weekend at this charming lake house. It was immaculately clean, and so well appointed. It was as if the owner anticipated every single need a guest might have, from the perfect coffee mug to the coziest sheets. There were even different types of pillows to accommodate our preferences (I chose the fluffy, soft pillow, and my husband opted for a more firm, supportive pillow), and blankets of different weights to ensure a dreamy night's sleep. Luxuriating in the spa-like bathroom was the perfect end to a day of hiking, kayaking, and sampling the local flavors (you MUST go to Crispigna's Italian Market and try their cheesy Italian "salsa."). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, even a stocked spice rack. The grill was clean and in excellent condition. Everything in this place is nice and new. The natural surroundings are just beautiful and peaceful, big shady trees to keep us cool, and a clear view of the stars at night. The lake is clear and lovely, with little frogs croaking from lily pads, just like you would see in a Disney movie. We even had a two mama deer and their babies visit every night! Upon the owner's suggestion, we visited a few local attractions, including City Park to feed deer, the beach at Lake Antoine Park, and Pine Mountain Ski Jump which features an impressive Veterans Memorial. These places, and more, were all 5 minute drives or less. We didn't need anything during our stay, but it was nice to see a big shopping center, also a short drive from us, just in case. When we come back (which we definitely will!), we will venture out further to explore more of the surrounding areas. We were there in the summertime, but with all the pretty trees, I am eager to return to see what I'm sure will be lovely fall colors, and I know several snowmobile enthusiasts who call this area their favorite winter vacation destination. The only downside to staying here is that it's a bummer when you have to go home. :) Highly recommend this place for a couple's getaway, but I would also come back here with family, girlfriends, really anyone who enjoys a little luxury with their lake life.

We loved the modern kitchen, the comfortable living room and bedroom, and the coolest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a rental property. We enjoyed the two person jetted tub and the walk-in sauna. Other nice perks included the gas grill on the back porch and Smart TVs in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom(!) The house is set back from the street on a long driveway. Across the street is a pretty area (also owned by this property owner) with a small dock and nice view of Lake Antoine. We enjoyed exploring the quaint town and interacting with the friendly locals. This property is amazing, we will be back!
