Love it ! very safe location, lots of wonderful walking around the marina, and they love dogs :) ... the food at Brizo is delish....beautiful views. have fun !

The Courtyard is a nice hotel set in the quiet Marina del Rey just minutes from the beach. It is also very conveniently located close to LAX just a 15-20min drive. Staff were friendly and the rooms were a good size and well maintained. Lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed and cosy. Outdoor bar was also really enjoyable. Catering options however I found limited if you do not want to dine at the restaurant. There was no room service options available which surprised me considering the price can be over $300 per night. The cafe in the lobby was closed most of the weekend. Did not see any vending machines for drinks/snacks. Very few cafes/restaurants within walking distance but able to order for delivery to hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Waitress asked us to move from water view. Only when she found out we were guests did she become nuce and let us have a water view. Service was extremely slow. It was busy but still slow. Beautiful rooftop and nice toom but super small.

While the initial impression walking in the lobby is positive (it's big, open, and tastefully decorated), this is offset by the staff at check in. The destination fee was not explained well and they made it sound like the complimentary breakfast was some special bonus they were providing to us when asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were celebrating a 25 year anniversary and had booked and paid for a deluxe room with a king bed, sofa, balcony, and view. When handing us our room key we were told they had an accessible room ready (we did not book accessible, but it sounded like that was all that was ready despite it being after 4pm). The room turned out to not have a sofa or view as we had paid for. We immediately returned to the front desk to request the room we had booked and paid for. They changed our room accordingly but with no apology or explanation as to why they tried to put us in the first room. Our room was right beside the pool bar so Friday night was very loud until 10 pm. Restaurant service was very slow and the side dishes were terrible. Not a great way to celebrate 25 years of marriage!

The hotel and check in were great. Restaurant dining as well. However, valet and room service left much to be desired. We had several rooms there and although the daily cleaning was done, the same dirty glassware stayed in the exact same spot for 4 days. We were seeing how long it would take them to remove and replace and they never did. The valet was poor. You literally had to walk up to them each time when you dropped your car off. There were a couple of nice kids but most of them stood at the podium looking at their phones. Not sure if I would stay there again to be honest. It's a lot of money for valet parking and room to be just ok. The restaurant I would go back to. Good food.

Beautiful bar overlooking Marina, clean, bright, good access to walking trails. Food and drinks at restaurant at hotel were good but expensive. Many restaurants and shopping are close by but a 20-25 min walk. If you can walk, do that because the parking is limited and you probably have to pay. Use Waymo-we wanted to buy walked instead.

We had a good and relaxing week. We even can saw the July 4th Fireworks out of the windows of our room. Dinner at Brizo was very nice. Valet did great and help charge my EV when returning in the evening.
