Front door code gives a red light and several short beeps which normally indicates incorrect code. The door takes a bit of force to open, so thinking you have the wrong code and not hearing a sound from the door can be confusing. There isn’t a elevator and the stairs are narrow so plan accordingly. The wall between the units are very thin you can hear the tv, normal conversations, the door unlocking etc… no privacy when it comes to noise.

Didn’t deal with any person. Other then a easy text the day of to ask what the door code was, and a brief hello from a worker/cleaner in the morning.. very nice, peacefully, just the a/c wasn’t as cold as I would hope, but if that’s the worst I can say then it was a 10/10 very worth the stay

I would advise anyone who is deciding to stay o. Miami beach please check with facility about parking preparations. This hotel is physically in the middle of a residential area. My husband and i drive around 2 hrs for parking, residents warned of cars being pulled if your not permitted to park. There is also paid parking spots on the street if you can find one. We found a paid parking lot a block away from the hotel, that was fortunate. 35dollars a night the attendant gave my husband a deal. We visted for 3days the stay was comfortable and quiet. This a hotel/ resident building is in walking distance to restaurants and social life. It is very secure which i really like and I felt safe walking the streets even at night coming from supper. Besides the parking the trip was good.

We go to Miami 3X year & due to Art Basel we couldn't go to our regular hotels. Location is great but you can't open any window (unless towards the dumpster) AND you can't run the fan or heater. The only option is cooling which is neither necessary nor appealing when outside is already cool (70). You have to run the shower for 5 minutes until it gets warm. Bathroom never gets dry even if you run the ventilation all the time because there is no air flow. We also found long black hair on the bed and in the bathroom (we both have short and blonde hair). TV wasn't working and we had to report it 3 times. No onsite or valet parking. Otherwise location is great, contactless and keyless check in is great too.

Our AC didn't work and we were told maintenance would be notified and someone would take a look. No one ever came so we stayed in an 80° room that was impossible to get any sleep in.

We liked the proximity to the beach/convenience stores and the responsiveness of the staff to our requests. We did not like the difficulties we had with parking our vehicle. The suggested lot was full for the majority of the day as well as the streets surrounding our property.

Very quiet property, has access to a variety of shops and restaurants. No private parking, so beware of where you park

Easy access. Clear instructions. Helpful (remote) staff. Was not clear if/when room would be cleaned. First day no, second yes. Why? Negative part: cold shower, despite keeping water running a lot. Room very good. Wonderful bed

Absolutely great spotless and just a few blocks back from Colin’s av. walking two blocks to the big pink is a treat and a half for breakfast.

Wouldn’t stay again , bugs in the room . Rooms doesn’t feel spring clean .

I guess I should read the google reviews before I booked… After arriving I went to restroom, the toilet wouldn’t flush. We got the attention of a cleaner on site because there was no front desk. The cleaning lady attempted to clear a clog which was non existent. It was clearly a pressure issue. She left the plunger and told us to use the restroom “lightly”. Not sure if you’ve ever had Cuban food in Miami, but a restroom in general shouldn’t have to be used lightly. Needless to say, we had to use the restroom again and after three calls they sent another gentleman to clear the “clog”. Mind you, he wasn’t a cleaner so he left all the toilet water on the bathroom floor and walked it out of the room so we had to clean after him. We requested to change rooms and were told that all of south beach is like this because of the water pressure. Which I know is false b/c this isn’t our first rodeo in South Beach! So we had to use the restroom at restaurants and other places. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, when we attempted to shower, we found hair from a previous guest. My wife is strawberry blonde and the hair in the photo is clearly a brunette. The tv doesn’t play any channels, you can only watch YouTube or risk getting your account info stolen by logging into their “smart” tv. The walls are not insulated. I could not sleep more than 1 hours off and on without hearing the guest across us either watch tv, fight, make love or just have loud drunken rants. You can hear a pin drop.

Stayed here for one night before a cruise and had a really great experience. The hotel looks new and everything felt super clean. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff was really responsive. Friendly service from housekeeper when we asked for more towels. Room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely will stay again.

Should have read previous reviews. Room did smell of mildew/mold with no air flow, no shower hot water at all. Ran the water for 10 mins and barely warmed up. Was told everytbing was fine in a condescending tone. Walls are crazy thin as mentiones in other reviews. Loud beeping sound throughout the entire night from the FA panel at the front door. Can hear people accross the building. Wojld look elsewhere before coming back to be honest. Location was great, parking is not.

Good location clean and well organized place, quiet.. Only point I did not like are the beds . No comfortable me and my girlfriend still suffering from neck and back pain.

The Casa Sofi was our first experience with a hotel that did not have a front desk. Everything was keyless entry which was quite easy. The place smelled great! The beds were ok, our king size bed were two smaller mattresses pushed together and didn't feel level. The bathroom was very nice and the location fantastic as it was close to the beach and to the main street of Ocean View.

The walls and doors are extremely thin; entire conversations from neighboring rooms are audible word-for-word at any hour. The property is clean and the linens are clean. The rooms are tiny to the point that the square footage may be overstated.

Street level very noisy..but great property

The location was great right near the beach and a dog park. Hopefully future travels will bring me back here. Got to do some shopping near by during my stay. I love the adult friendly-only vibe. The room was comfortable and I loved the decor.

The property is great. Great customer service, cleaning services every 2 days. The room was cozy and beautiful. Contactless check in but there are security cameras so I felt safe. The beach is walking distance (2 blocks away). There are lots of dinning options that are walking distance as well.

Everything was great. We are very sensitive to fragrances and the hallways had a lot of strong fragrance but it did not seem to flow into the hotel room, which we were very concerned about. Very attentive and communicative manager.

Place was a SCAM!! They were supposed to send an entry code and never did and then never responded to any emails or calls and just left me on the street. SCAM SCAM SCAM!! Plus Hotels.com won't even do a refund, SCAM!

It was a great location, walking distance to the beach, South Point, shopping center that had Target, Ross and many other stores, restaurants and a calmer area than between 5th and 11th steer. It looked like a little studio apartment and had Netflix and 2 beach towels other that the bathroom towels, I love the convenience of not having a key .

One of the best affordable hotel I’ve stayed in Miami Beach, next to transportation, parking on street, walking distance to CVS, Restaurants and the beach is just steps always. It’s clean well maintained I’ve found a new go to spot whenever I’m in Miami, I wanted to keep it to myself but I have say something I really enjoyed staying there. And please don’t book out all the rooms now because I need one soon!
