The room was furnished and decorated well, although the window had some mould due to its age (presume difficult to solve in a listed building). The staff were friendly although they’re shared between the pub and the hotel so you may need to wait a little while. We had some issues with the shower, the tap handle was nearly impossible to turn so couldn’t adjust the temperature. Overall, I’d say it’s a great location and nice hotel although full price might be difficult to stomach.

Very clean room. Lovely decor.

The hotel had so much character, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the breakfast delicious.
