Overall it's a good hotel. They need to work on just a couple of things to make it a great hotel. We showed up and check in was smooth. We had to pay for parking and knew that before we booked. However, their website said parking was $16 a night, but when you pay, it's actually $19. I asked the hotel staff about it and they said the parking is taken care of by a private company, so they don't control the pricing. They might want to change their website. The paid parking is behind the hotel close to an alley with no fence or anything. I figured for $19 a night it would be a little more secure. The staff at the bar was very friendly and they had a great choice of adult beverages. The lobby was kind of cool with a good atmosphere. Elevator needed cleaned. Not sure why that bugs me in a hotel. The room was very nice and had a garage door opening which was very unique. The bed was really soft. They kind of forgot to put outlets next to the bed, which I thought was odd since it's a newer hotel and they send you check-in and check-out information to your phone. No place to just plug in the old anchor weight phone. Bring your phone charges! I liked the door code idea instead of a key card. Overall nice hotel, but could improve a tad.

Nice hotel no pool pr weight room and rooms alot smaller than pictures portray. Also states "kitchen open all day" on website but went to go get dessert and was told they close kitchen at 10 PM. Staff was great considering there was a wedding going on and could hear all the music in room until 11 PM. Rented room to ger away from that, but overall modem layout and hotel.

This was our second time at KINSHIP .. love this place .. rooms are so nice with super comfy beds .. the property is very nice & well maintained.. enjoy the outdoor area with seating & fire pits .. most of all LOVE Homa! We ate there breakfast, lunch & dinner. Delicious options .. overall enjoyed our stay .. would recommend & would return!

We really loved our stay at Kinship. Close to all that Downtown Colorado Springs has to offer (and beautiful views of the Pikes Peak—highly recommend a room with a Mountain View!). A note that parking and breakfast are not included in the rate, and the hotel doesn’t have a fitness center (but does offer things like onsite group classes).

The hotel looks newly remodeled. The rooms are uniquely designed but small and somewhat impractical (particularly the bed which is kind of on a platform, kinda on the floor - hard to describe). That said, the mattress was heavenly. There is a restaurant onsite, but we were flying out early (before breakfast service) and there were no other food options available onsite or close (like cereals available for purchase). Parking is either paid or free on street, but the paid parking isn’t secured at all, so I wouldn’t opt for it again. Also the sink is in the sleeping area rather than the bath area. I would say it’s a super cute place for a couple’s overnighter but not very practical for the stay.

We stayed in one of their pet suites, and there were ants coming into our room. There was no daily cleaning service either. They charged us additional cost for having our dog there, but I don't see what extra service we actually got from them.

The room was beyond noisy at night inside the room and there was nothing we could do about it. When we walked in the room it smelt so bad and had hair on the pillows. I travel for work and stay in multiple hotels a year and this is one I won’t return to.

One of the lights in hour room was out, the fridge was broken, the tv wasn't working. The room was cute but housekeeping didn't clean well, as there were items in the shower from previous guests. Staff was great but after so many flaws, we got tired of bugging them. We exchanged more for a $200 room!

Kinship landing is a very cute spot with very cozy beds and great food options. Unfortunately, our room on the fourth floor smelt strongly like sewage. They were kind enough to move us to another room on the same after one night, but the room still had a slight odor, though not as bad as in our original room, but the whole floor seemed to smell. There was also a lot of short hairs in the shower of the new room and was clearly not cleaned well. The staff was always friendly but I wish something could have been done about the terrible smell. We also had a hotels.com gift card we were hoping to use on our stay but the hotel would not accept it despite being listed on hotels.com.

Hotel was wonderful. Bed was comfortable and room was awesome with a view of Pikes Peak. Cafe had excellent food and service. Loved the kitchen/ice area on floor 2 floor and free water in the bar area. Bathroom area was not cleaned well prior to arrival. Hair was on shower walls and floor was sticky. We just cleaned the shower and always wore shoes/slippers, walked on the clean towel mat provided. Overall we really loved this place, the location and vibe. An extra 10 minutes cleaning would have made this a perfect stay 😊

It’s definitely a place for young people and there’s not much around so you can’t walk anywhere. The room was made for one person and not two. The bed was comfortable, but it’s a ridiculous set up with just a mattress on a wood platform and the person on the far side has a difficulty getting in and out of bed and then you practically kill yourself trying to get off the wood platform in the middle of the night and the sink is right there so there’s no privacy at all. The room was very clean and had great bedding but for two people we were only given two towels, so I’m not sure what we’re supposed to use on our hair and it’s just the set up of the room is not good

This place was all around nice but, the streets were SO noisy and the ac would turn off and on but it was so loud it woke me up. Let me just say it’s very hard to wake me up in a deep sleep so it’s definitely loud. It’s pretty close to food place but there are some weirdos late at night that are also really loud.

Our room reminded me of being in my freshman dorm room, but with an extremely uncomfortable bed.The platform bed was difficult to access from the window side and way too soft. There was no comfortable seating in the room, only a bench, soft stool and a high wooden chair. Our room ,while having a mountain view, was on a busy main street with significant traffic noise.If you are you are a younger outdoorsy type you might enjoy the accommodations, but I would not recommend this hotel for the average traveler.

The hotel is expensive for the amenities provided. The rooms have a small hostel feel to them with an odd configuration - no side tables, platform bed that you have to crawl into. Our room had one broken drawer (which they did fix later), no soap in the shower dispensers (again fixed later), and noisy refrigerator and air conditioner. We had to unplug the refrigerator it was so loud. If you are on the side of the street, the street noise is loud as well. The cleaning staff were very nice and professional. The other thing was on our first night, the bar/lounge/restaurant area were closed after 2 pm for an event - seems that the rates for that night should have been adjusted accordingly. The location is good in terms of being able to walk to different things.

Very nice place: Clean. Nice and helpful staff. Interesting design for the interiors, except the bed. While it’s visually appealing, the bed on a raised platform is very awkward. The arrangement requires the far sleeping position to either crawl over the bed partner to exit or to dismount the raised platform via an awkward, even risky maneuver, without a handhold or rail provided. Very nice place: Clean. Nice and helpful staff. Interesting design for the interiors, except the bed. While it’s visually appealing, the bed on a raised platform is very awkward. The arrangement requires the far sleeping position to either crawl over the bed partner to exit or to dismount the raised platform via an awkward, even risky maneuver, without a handhold or rail provided. If you love ultra-soft beds with minimal support, Kinship Landing might be perfect for you. I would have given our stay 5 stars if it weren’t for the mattress — I had two of the worst nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. Otherwise, the hotel is unique, stylish, and offers a great experience. I would definitely stay here again if they upgraded to firmer mattresses.

The room was not what we exoected. The room was very small. The bed consisted of a mattress on a raised platform. The platform was larger thant the mattress, which resulted in the mattress moving around on the platform. The person sleeping on the inside side of the mattress needs to crawl over their partner or behind them on the platform, to exit the bed at night. You also have to pay 19.00 per day for parking. The parking is a private vendor. Overall, not a good experience or value for the money.

Staff is great. Kimberley, at the front desk, was awesome and fun. Room was unique and very comfortable. Restaurant staff were also great and food was very good. Would absolutely stay here again.

Front desk person was on the phone selling a potential customer a room for 15 minutes while I stood there waiting to check in. I get it if she’s the only one working but why not AT LEAST, say hey hold on a second please. Or anything… after driving 13 hours I needed to use the restroom and I was about to bleed all over the lobby because it took so long to check in when there was absolutely no one else there. The vibes were cute. Definitely need to do better at keeping vagrants out of the lobby and loitering outside. One was yelling he was kill us right when we walked out to grab some dinner… then when we got back after the same guy WAS CHILLIN INNTHE LOBBY ?!?! I was so freaked out I couldn’t sleep all night. The best part was the in-house coffee bar and knowledgeable barista! My morning matcha was so good I had him make me second (after that drive and not sleeping all night I really needed it) this place has great potential but needs to work on training the in-take staff and keeping guest safe. Rooms are cute and great prices. Just something to think about

Unorganized, first key code did not work, room had dirt and debris on the floors. Wife left necklace on table called next day and talked to crew member who said he would look into it and that the staff was very honest and would turn it in. Was told i would receive a follow up return call which never happened. Disappointed would not recommend!

Oh my gosh where do I start! I went on vacation recently and booked a stay at this hotel for about 5 nights. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and inviting apon arrival. Our room was beautiful and very clean with a nice view. They were kind enough to print out tickets for us for a concert we were going to be going to, they took care of everything, and made sure our relaxation was the top priority. There was plenty of parking and it’s located close to a lot of attractions and food. The manager Spencer was able to provide us with a very informative insider advice on things to do around town. Everything he suggested was a hit. Definitely plan on staying again! Thanks for an awesome trip!

The Kinship has warm and chill vibe! We enjoyed our stay! The staff was awesome and special shout-out to Spencer! He made us feel welcomed, and took a few minutes to chat and hear our story. We loved the hip and modern feel of the rooms and lounge area. We recommend the Kinship! The Martinez Family

Because of a morning meeting I had at Fort Carson, we asked for a late checkout (12pm) so my wife could wait for me in the room. (Their check out is 10am) But they flat out refused, and charged me $10 for an eleven oclock check out. We will not be back.

Overall stay was fine. Room was a tad noisy at night, with a loud humming noise occurring around 9 pm and lasting the majority of the night. Both me and my partner had to wear our AirPods in order to drown out the noise The staff only came and cleaned the room every third night, which wasn’t sufficient. The floor got dirty quickly and for the price of the room, I would’ve expected better service. Additionally, with a checkout time of 10 am, I’m not sure why we needed to be out so early when the hotel itself was pretty quiet with minimal cleaning provided during our stay The food was fantastic, but overpriced when looking at the service provided. The first night, the bartender spilled half of the drink on the counter and did not offer to refill it. Accidents happen, but for the price point, it would have been nice for a fresh drink to be served. The second night, we had to remind staff that we ordered drinks along with our food. Additionally, you are responsible for grabbing your food and drink from the bartender and cleaning your table off. The idea is fine, however, for the price point of the food and drinks, we would’ve expected better service

First, I didn’t research thoroughly enough, hotel is on a very busy and loud street and is at the edge of the homeless community. The room shown when booking had a soak tub and garage door window, which a selling point for me. The one we were in did not. The a/c is very loud with a click/boom when it turns on. We were awakened multiple times by loud traffic and then on the last morning, by homeless argument w/profanity right outside our window. They do a good job at the minimalist/modern atmosphere. no closet, just metal divider wall w/hanging rack, which was fine. Shower amenities were no brand and watered down. I think we were not their target demographic (50 ). Probably better for those in their 20-40’s. Lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Husband loved the pork chop for dinner, Caesar salad was very disappointing and the chicken breast was tough. We definitely won’t return or suggest this property.

The hotel is great and in close proximity to so much! Walking distance to good coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, soccer games… and close driving distance to several main attractions (Garden of the Gods, Broadmoor Seven Springs, Manitou Springs). Great vibe and good food in the hotel, and staff were super friendly! A couple of things to note - parking is extra, but very easy and convenient. Just let them know at check in. Also, it took the shower a long time (10-15 min) to get hot water one day - in the morning and at night- so luckily we weren’t in a hurry and had time to wait. Hotel staff was very nice about this when we complained because we thought there was no hot water at all, and offered a couple of options. Lastly, the bathroom has a sliding door that leaves a bit of space so there isn’t total privacy there. We loved our stay - super cute room and very comfy bed and we were able to see 4th of July fireworks from the soccer stadium just down the street from our window, which was awesome. We’d stay again!

The property is very nice however not in the best neighborhood therefore they lock up at 10pm but there is keyless (code) entry if you choose to go in and out after hours. The inside is beautiful with a full bar and restaurant. The staff is friendly, very welcoming and just good people. The hotel is expensive for the amenities provided. The rooms have a small hostel feel to them with an odd configuration - no side tables, platform bed that you have to crawl into. Our room had one broken drawer (which they did fix later), no soap in the shower dispensers (again fixed later), and noisy refrigerator and air conditioner. We had to unplug the refrigerator it was so loud. If you are on the side of the street, the street noise is loud as well. The cleaning staff were very nice and professional. The other thing was on our first night, the bar/lounge/restaurant area were closed after 2 pm for an event - seems that the rates for that night should have been adjusted accordingly. The location is good in terms of being able to walk to different things.

Nice hotel no pool pr weight room and rooms alot smaller than pictures portray. Also states "kitchen open all day" on website but went to go get dessert and was told they close kitchen at 10 PM. Staff was great considering there was a wedding going on and could hear all the music in room until 11 PM. Rented room to ger away from that, but overall modem layout and hotel.

This was our second time at KINSHIP .. love this place .. rooms are so nice with super comfy beds .. the property is very nice & well maintained.. enjoy the outdoor area with seating & fire pits .. most of all LOVE Homa! We ate there breakfast, lunch & dinner. Delicious options .. overall enjoyed our stay .. would recommend & would return!

Our room looked pretty and hip but was not very convenient: no mirror near the exit, the sink was outside the toilet, soap pump was far away from the sink, the sliding toilet door doesn’t really close well. There were other inconveniences too: tv kept turning on on its own (probably due to a glitch in its chromecast software), the kettle’s temperature sensor was broken so it kept boiling water and spewing it all over. Also, the food in their cafe is pricey but mediocre at best. Would recommend going out for both breakfast (there’s a nice coffee shop across the street) and dinner.

Hotel concept is interesting. Lobby very trendy and friendly. Room was okay but lacked things that are really required in a hotel room. No closet. No hangers. No iron or chairs and such. So a long term stay would be a challenge. For my night it was fine. Hotel is cute with nice views but it should probably add the basics that most people expect from a solid hotel.

Hotel itself was very clean, busy and the staff was cool. The hotel is walking distance from some decent food options and bars but there is also a cafe in the lobby. My room was on the 3rd floor (an ADA room) with a giant window facing Nevada Ave and it was LOUD at night. The bed is literally right up against the window sooo I would recommend earplugs for sleeping. The shower in my room was sadly….trash. Very poor water pressure and it totally bummed me out. Other than that, great spot.

The Kinship Landing is a unique hotel. We enjoyed the staff, bar, breakfast, and proximity to restaurants. The room we stayed in was small but adequate. The bathroom was small and housed the shower and toilet. The door was a sliding barn style door. The sink was in the bedroom area. There was a refrigerator and a high top desk as well as a small cushioned bench. There was only one hanger and no closet space. The bed was just a little challenging to get out of due to it being on a higher platform. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and plan to stay again.
