I am not very picky, having done a lot of "shoe-string" traveling in developing countries. But this is a gross hotel. The comforter on the bed was disgusting -- dirty and filled with holes. Only one light in the room. No glass or cup to drink from. A/C generated a peculiar and troubling smell. We turned it off. One upside is that our room did not have roaches. This was lucky for us, since other guests were complaining about roaches getting into all of their luggage. To top off our "experience," the hotel description claimed there would be parking (some onsite and some at an offsite location). There was no parking by the time we arrived (4pm). When I asked how to identify a legal parking space, the description from the front desk resulted in us getting a parking ticket and a $325 tow. The front desk guy said I could park anywhere other than on yellow-painted curbs or in numbered spaces. He neglected to tell me that there needs to be a white painted line around the space for it to be valid. Apparently I was blocking someone from driving up over the curb and sidewalk to park on their front yard... Even without the ticket and tow charge, this was an absurdly over-priced hotel room. I saw the ratings, but there were only 2 rooms under $400 in Seaside Heights (SH), and I figured it couldn't be that bad for $300. Well, it is. If this is the only available hotel room left in Seaside Heights, perhaps you should visit somewhere else? Or perhaps visit SH at a different time?

This was a decent stay for hotels that allow dogs. Al was great at the front desk. The room did not have mirrors and enough outlets. So bring a power strip lol. But all in all, if I bring my dog back to seaside I would stay here again.

The room was nice and clean, the outlet for the fridge didnt work but was fixed immediately, was definitely a good experience, except for no parking as they only had about 6 spots for parking which were all gone by the time we got there and we had to pay $48 to park for the night and part of the next day thats the only problem i had with the hotel but we will definitely be staying there again, we will just have to get there earlier to get a parking spot.

upon arrival saw building outdated which is fine. It is 2 blocks from boardwalk/beach which is a plus. Sheets were dirty, hair on pillowcases. Asked for new sheets answer i got was they arent dirty they just look dirty!!! Then I said well there are long black hairs on both pillow cases, answer was well they could of been just from the maid cleaning and fell off........do not stay here. we did for 2 nights there is no chairs to sit on other than the bed, no table. lighting is dark. Curtains are cut to length of window and looks like a preschooler cut it. Pretty funny. Best part is the layers and layers of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. My mother and I both wore shoes in the shower. So gross. Then the pool. Pond scum green. with mold all around it. Not sure how this place passes any kind of inspection. Do yourself a favor by pass this place and find another one.

Every thing was pretty gross. Front office is also nasty. Microwave and mini fridge were clean. Room was really small. Bathroom was smaller. I stayed 4 nights and had to ask owner for new towels. After that i bought my own. Pool was decent. Pet friendly not worth $20 extra $$$ a night. Look its worth the money.

The room was adequate, the bed was clean even though there were some cigarette burns on the sheets and cover. The microwave , tv , ac and fridge worked. There wasnt enough parking I had to park 2 blocks away., The curtains arent big enough to cover the windows. not bad for the price.

Room is disgusting. Stained sheets, broken down shower. Rotten stairs, green pool. Don't waste your money! Left immediately to stay somewhere/anywhere else. Calling credit card company to dispute asap

This hotel is the worst we have ever slept at. It was dirty with cracked floors and worn out floor in the shower. There was a piece of cereal in the bed sheets when we turned down the bed. The sheets were stained in multiple places. Outside of the room from the moment we arrived around 8pm and until the early hours of the morning, there was chaos outside of our room as well as being able to hear a domestic fight with a man and woman pretty much the whole night long. It did appear from the sounds, as if the woman was getting slapped. The pool was drained of water as a side note.

We checked in and went straight to the boardwalk. When we returned at 11:30p we were greeted by roaches, one of our comforters had big holes, the floor was filthy, the smoke detector was missing, we couldn't control the tv volume, and we got contact high outside the room. The icing on the cake was the dirty sheets on the bed. We left for home at midnight! I spoke to the owner, he swore the sheets were clean, pot is legal, and oh well on the bugs. No refund. Honestly they should be removed from Expedia. This place is a hazard!

While gentleman at check-in was very nice, the room itself was horrid. There were no towels, the bathroom door didn't close, and the beds were Lumpy or hard as a rock. The floor was tiled, which I understand being that it's a few blocks off the beach, but they couldn't at least mop so that it wasn't sand all over the floor. I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and wound up dragging a bunch of sand back in the bed with me because it was stuck to the bottom of my feet. There were also some interesting stains on the ceiling, and the window in the bathroom was barely in its frame. Zero out of 10 would never stay here again.

This stay was a bit of a mixed bag. Overall, I would actually return. The owner is an incredibly kind, caring, really cool guy. I enjoyed speaking to him. The room we had was small, but had everything we needed. A little bit of sound travels between rooms, but not enough to keep me from sleeping or anything. The pros outweighed the cons, but the cons do exist. It is an older property, and modest, so of you're looking for opulence, go elsewhere. The room was very clean. The blanket and sheets had some marks, but it was obvious they were clean. The pillows were far too flat, and the mattress felt like a boxspring, and was the only reason we left a night early. We would have definitely stayed had the bad not left us in so much pain the next day. The only other things I noticed were 1) The toilet was about 8" from the wall. I had to sit sideways. Ha ha. 2) The local police drove slowly past the motel over and over as I was merely outside smoking a cigarette. Methinks they are looking for trouble however they can find it. All in all, I would say this is a 7.5-8.0 place to stay. I'm a simple person, and it may not be for everyone, but given it is an older motel, I was okay with it, especially for the price. Personally, I felt welcome and comfortable (minus the bed) A chair in the rooms would have been good, bit not necessary.

It was ok. There were barely any parking spots, the fridge was dirty, and the shower floor creaked bad. Other than that, the room was fine and clean. The guy at the office was super nice as well.

The gentleman was very nice. The place was very dirty unfortunately. There was a hole where bugs were coming through in the corner, the bathroom smelled bad, and the shower was recently used when we got there. The blanket had stains on it and there was an opening on the top of the door that you can see through to enter the apartment.

In need of a renovation but affordable stay in Seaside not the most comfortable beds but if your looking for a no frills place to enjoy Seaside Heights and your only going to use the room to sleep this isn’t the worst place, but expect to get what you paid for. Property is non smoking but you definitely get that nostalgic I’m in a motel smell

The staff was very friendly. But as far as the room it was not the best. There was mold and the bathroom stank of mold and could not figure out the hot water. They tried to fix a hole in the ceiling in the shower area, but the patch work was not the best. Bathroom was so small I could not sit on toilet correctly. Beds were not terrible. I slept fine and the AC worked good the entire trip. Our tv was still a tube tv and the remote only controlled the cable box not the tv. We had a bed to sleep in when we came back from boardwalk and that’s all we pretty much used the room for. You get what you pay for. But the owner is a nice guy and he does what he can for you.

I slept fine and the AC worked good the entire trip. Our tv was still a tube tv and the remote only controlled the cable box not the tv. We had a bed to sleep in when we came back from boardwalk and that’s all we pretty much used the room for. You get what you pay for. But the owner is a nice guy and he does what he can for you.

The room was adequate, the bed was clean even though there were some cigarette burns on the sheets and cover. The microwave , tv , ac and fridge worked. There wasnt enough parking I had to park 2 blocks away., The curtains arent big enough to cover the windows. not bad for the price.

The property manager was very accommodating. He answered all my questions, and was friendly, happy to help. The hotel is in an excellent location. Convenient for walking. Parking was not an issue if needing to park off site. My one recommendation is aesthetics. With a slight facelift upgrade, the building could appeal better. It was a great stay but i could see how at first site, it might seem a little iffy. Thank you

The manager working did not warn us about the parking situation. Only 6 spots on property. Over 20 rooms. Very rude when asked about it. Terrible manager. Just terrible. Headboard fell on my son's head. Holes in the concrete on second floor . Upon arrival.. had to deal with other tenants causing problems . Manager did nothing. Next day still same tenant, yelling all night and early morning. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Horrible service. If I could give this plac minus stars I would. The owner of that property,needs to hire better staff. I have taken pictures. Of just how bad it is.

When I got there they had no rooms. They overbooked. They offered to check me in there and I would have to go to Flamingo Inn. I said that Flamingo Inn was cheaper om Expedia that the price I paid for Atlantic Inn, would they pay me back the difference? They said no, so I asked how is this fare? They said they can’t do nothing. So I went to Flamingo Inn, tried to check in with the original price but they had no parking. Ended up finding a much nicer inn with plenty of parking and cheaper close by.

First of all the owner or whoever is at the front reeked of cigarettes. I felt nauseous the entire time I was there. But even before that, I waited outside for an hour and called the man over 20 times just to try to check in. Just terrible. Then, while I was trying to check in, he claims that his policy says that we had to be 21+. I’m 18 and i read over the policy because most places require 21+ so I read it very VERY carefully. I would not have booked if it was 21+. So we drove over an hour to get to this miserable place to then wait outside in the rain and then meet a miserable man who changed his policies last minute. Plus he refused to give a refund. He was so condescending and it was so frustrating. This place is awful.

The manager, Al, was great Somehow the remote control got dropped. Batteries went flying. I put the batteries back in but I couldn't get the TV to work. Al fixed it for me. It was 5:30 am and he still came up to my room and fixed it. He also has a bookcase with several shelves of food for the taking. It's free. I'll be going back eventually. Also the price is right. Go through Expedia.

When I tried to check in the manager met me at the doorway and informed me that the hotel was overbooked and no rooms were available. There was nothing to do to help me and no one else to speak to. He advised that I would need to contact third party vendor for reimbursement which still has not happened over 24 hours later because they have failed to answer the phone and respond to the third party vendor!

My boyfriend and I didn’t even get to stay in this place because they overbooked us even though I have already paid for the room. The guy said that we could not come in because there were no rooms available. It was not a fun experience. I do not recommend it.

The property is close to the beach which is great. The fridge and tv worked. There was a microwave. We're glad we brought our own coffee pot since there was none provided. The motel is supposedly under renovation and we were in the room that was forgotten. The room was clean and provided for 2 people, 1 towel, 1 washcloth, and a tiny bar of soap. The room's door had previously been pried open, the damage was patently visible. The door was also falling off the hinges. I believe there were no screws in the lower hinge. There are no housekeeping services. The office is unmanned. The area is gentrifying so hopefully things will improve. The pool looked clean. There is very little parking and after parking in front of the office, and getting a ticket, I found out there was paid parking. Thank you officer for the information. The ticket is $45 Parking for 24 hours is $48. The 24-hour option is great but the ticket provides savings. The other positive points are there is a Police station across the street and a 7/11 about a block away. The owners were pleasant and if they upgrade the property I would consider it. We didn't pay very much and You get what you pay. We had a clean bed near the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Terrible ! In the non smoking room there was a cigarette hole in one of the comforters and a bleach stain on the other one, couldt sit straight on the toilet because of the wall in front of it, disgusting something all over the freezer, owner is a weirdo and the housekeeper told us we had the "good" room and the others on the other side were INFESTED!! The mirror was broken and off of the wall, good thing we came prepared with our own flat sheets pillows and blankets.Worst stay Ever! Should be condemned .The housekeeper was very informative, honest and trying to do the best with what she has to work with
