Nice place, there is a great bar downstairs, but not noisy at all. The room has great TV, coffee machine, and a small fridge. In the floor above, they have a large shared fridge with complimentary cold tap water bottles and milk (I had oat and regular milk while stayed there) Great welcoming, clean and comfortable. The surrounding is quiet and feels pretty safe. There is a bus station 3min walk from the place, 15min to Soho area. I loved it and would stay again!

Friendly staff who let us in and looked after our bag as we needed to leave in the evening and checkout was earlier. Which was great as we felt more independent. The room was nice and had a big bathroom. However the shower tap was broken so it only had the overhead shower and I couldn’t use the hand held shower part. There was a fridge in the room but it was tiny. Transport to get into the city was best by a bus stop opposite the hotel but the busses were irregular, not really a problem for us as we liked to walk but prospective travelers should be aware that it is not nearby a tube station.

We stay in the middle of a heatwave, so the room the first night was very warm. Thankfully, they had a fan, sadly they had no extension cord, so we could not put it in front of the window to bring in the cool outdoor air. The next day, I kept the blind down, so the room was not as warm. They had bottled water in a small fridge outside the door, was fantastic. In the fridge, there were also bottles of milk for tea / coffee in the morning.

Fabulous rooms over a really nice but nice but rowdy pub conveniently located in South London near south bank. Provided a fridge with oat milk and Nespresso machine. Also 10% off drinks at bar.

A 15-20min walk from Waterloo station with good ramps and footpaths for wheeling luggage. Was able to leave our bags till 3pm checkin. Friendly staff. A few sirens into the evening ( central London), so wouldn’t expect silence. Small room with openable window. Nice bathroom and tea/ coffee facilities. There are a number of flights of steps, we had assistance with luggage so was fine. Close to underground and local supermarkets, cafes etc. very convenient to walk to Houses of Parliament ( Big Ben).

Stayed for 2 nights. Loved the place.. the downstairs is a pub. The staff was super friendly and helped us carry our luggage upstairs bc they don’t have elevators. No ac but it was cold when I visited London so it’s not needed. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious. There is a bus stop across the street that takes you to all the tourist places.

The location was ideal for our trip to the theatre. The room was lovely and clean upon arrival and the lady that checked us in was very friendly. The room was a bit warm but there were fans provided to cool it down and cold drinks available in an upstairs fridge. As well as plenty of team and coffee

It is for me a hostel that is listed as a hotel. It was clean and ok but no lobby, no elevator. Nevertheless personnel were very nice, friendly and helpful. However I recommend the staff to fix the loose water faucet and the shower drain that was blocked.

Great room, location, friendly staff and very nice bar. Easy to walk to lambeth north underground in less than 10 mins. Walking down main road with beautiful area. Quiet at night. Great cafe for breakfast within a few mins walk on the way to Lambeth north called chocolatedinocompamy. Soap dispenser did not work and had leak on base of shower, it still worked but less water pressure to head of shower. Minor things as said above , great location amd good value for money.

Staff we met were great, welcoming despite our early check in appearance. Rooms are very tired looking, milk in a jug was off by evening. The rooms were very warm although fans offered some bottled water would have been a welcome addition. Bed and linen very clean and comfortable. Access to tube and central embankment great only. 15 mins walk away. Ok for an overnighter stay but I wouldn't be rushing back .

Oat milk in the fridge was amazing but the coffee machine just gave us lukewarm coffee. I'd have preferred instant to be honest. Also lacking a full size mirror or any kind of mirror in the bedroom. Carpet also needs replacing. Other than that, it was clean, comfy and convenient! Staff were super helpful too. I'd stay here again.

Sufficient room for one night but not for a full stay. Clogged sink, stagnant water in the kettle, broken shower gel in the shower, no window... It is relatively expensive considering the condition of the facilities.

Good location, but too expensive for what they are offering. Very small room with dirty carpet. For milk you need to go to hall, hm inconvenience for me as I like my cup of tea before I go to bed.

Staff very respectful and friendly. Comfortable beds. Appreciate that it’s cheap in very central London❤️ -1 star because the power went out in our room when we arrived, but staff were quick to fix it. All around very good hotel that I would recommend and go back to.

Excellent hidden gem within walking distance to two tube stations; Lambeth North & Kennington. Real friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Rooms have everything you need. Will definitely use again when wanting something affordable in London.

Such an amazing stay, the room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The people running the hotel were super kind and helped bring my bags as well! would absolutely come back!

Staff very respectful and friendly. Comfortable beds. Appreciate that it’s cheap in very central London❤️ -1 star because the power went out in our room when we arrived, but staff were quick to fix it. All around very good hotel that I would recommend and go back to.

We had a pleasant stay at The Ship Rooms in London from June 14 to 16. The location was excellent—just steps away from a public bus stop and within walking distance of major attractions like the London Eye, Westminster Bridge, and Big Ben. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. While we didn’t try the pub downstairs, it’s a nice touch, and they offered a 10% discount on drinks for guests. There were also grocery stores and a pizza shop nearby, which added to the convenience. Overall, a great place to stay for exploring central London.

Nice place, there is a great bar downstairs, but not noisy at all. The room has great TV, coffee machine, and a small fridge. In the floor above, they have a large shared fridge with complimentary cold tap water bottles and milk (I had oat and regular milk while stayed there) Great welcoming, clean and comfortable. The surrounding is quiet and feels pretty safe. There is a bus station 3min walk from the place, 15min to Soho area. I loved it and would stay again!

Excellent hidden gem within walking distance to two tube stations; Lambeth North & Kennington. Real friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Rooms have everything you need. Will definitely use again when wanting something affordable in London.

Friendly staff who let us in and looked after our bag as we needed to leave in the evening and checkout was earlier. Which was great as we felt more independent. The room was nice and had a big bathroom. However the shower tap was broken so it only had the overhead shower and I couldn’t use the hand held shower part. There was a fridge in the room but it was tiny. Transport to get into the city was best by a bus stop opposite the hotel but the busses were irregular, not really a problem for us as we liked to walk but prospective travelers should be aware that it is not nearby a tube station.

Fabulous rooms over a really nice but nice but rowdy pub conveniently located in South London near south bank. Provided a fridge with oat milk and Nespresso machine. Also 10% off drinks at bar.

A 15-20min walk from Waterloo station with good ramps and footpaths for wheeling luggage. Was able to leave our bags till 3pm checkin. Friendly staff. A few sirens into the evening ( central London), so wouldn’t expect silence. Small room with openable window. Nice bathroom and tea/ coffee facilities. There are a number of flights of steps, we had assistance with luggage so was fine. Close to underground and local supermarkets, cafes etc. very convenient to walk to Houses of Parliament ( Big Ben).

Stayed for 2 nights. Loved the place.. the downstairs is a pub. The staff was super friendly and helped us carry our luggage upstairs bc they don’t have elevators. No ac but it was cold when I visited London so it’s not needed. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious. There is a bus stop across the street that takes you to all the tourist places.

Good size room with useful albeit small fridge. Despite reporting it, the internet did not work. The hotel (rooms above a pub) were not close to a tube station but there are nearby shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay. Rooms are really nice.Not many friills - apart from the coffee maker and milk frother - but perfectly suited for a short stay..bus stop opposite and a ten minute ride to Trafalgar Square means you can be right in the centre of London in no time, and the South Bank. Would thoroughly recommend. No breakfast option but just next to it is Kennington Coffee shop which is charming and perfect.

Oat milk in the fridge was amazing but the coffee machine just gave us lukewarm coffee. I'd have preferred instant to be honest. Also lacking a full size mirror or any kind of mirror in the bedroom. Carpet also needs replacing. Other than that, it was clean, comfy and convenient! Staff were super helpful too. I'd stay here again.

A bit disappointed with the location, seems to be a lot further away from Shaftsbury theatre than we were told. Bar closed at 10.30pm. which is quite early. Bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Coffee was in short supply and I felt that instant coffee should be an option.

Nice pub with rooms, very friendly and attentive staff. Food was good, not far from Waterloo. Good value. It did get warm even with the Aircon.

Personale super disponibile, messi a disposizione degli ospiti acqua, latte, caffè e tè. Camera pulita, letto comodo. Zona molto tranquilla comoda (dall'altro lato della strada si trova la fermata del bus che porta a Westminster e Trafalgar Square). Ottima esperienza!

The shower didn’t work. The toilet barely flushed. There was no milk. No shower gel. The bed side lights didn’t work and the main lamp barely worked. The TV was so quiet I could barely hear it. I tried contacting the hotel after my first night to ask for milk and an iron - no response . The room is big, the staff are nice and the location is good - but, really need to get the basics right . No milk = No morning tea = nightmare !

Excellent staff and a very nice bar. Room well prepared considering heat with window open and fan on. Would definitely revisit if again in the vicinity.

The bed was comfortable and the pizza at the pub was good, my only positives. The carpet was very old and things are not in the best condition. There’s no a/c and the room was hot! There were no shutters, just a curtain on the window. We had to keep the window open to get air but there was no breeze. The street is very busy and the outdoor area of the pub is very loud until closing time 11pm or 12am. We did not sleep well here. I was glad to leave.
