Nice low rise hotel about 10 mins from Jesus Green. Rooms well maintained and the breakfast area, staff and quality were very good. One small drawback is parking on-site. Even if youve paid to cover your whole stay, you are not guaranteed a spot on your return if you take the car out for the day.

This is a fantastic property with great room sizes, amenities inside the room and in the hotel in general. The food in the main restaurant is also good quality and tastes great. The only downside while we were visiting was that the steam room was in-operational.

Nish was a great host and welcomed us really nicely. Room was lovely, breakfast was nice, although the ingredients of the omelette were layered on the egg rather than in the egg. Swimming pool was small and packed. Parking price was extortionate - park opposite in a side road. Close to everywhere in Cambridge.

We had a great stay and will return to this hotel next time we visit Cambridge. This hotel was the quietest I have ever stayed at. We were on the third floor. I highly recommend it. However, the car park fee in the basement, which is around £24 per day, is excessive. Friendly staff and the dinner we had was great too.

One of my favorite hotels in the UK. I look forward to staying here. Nice restaurant. Good parking, great internet and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice heated pool, gym and sauna and a good free laundry is an added bonus.

Hotel was very nicely done. Room was spacious and clean with modern fittings. It's walking distance into Cambridge. A few things prevented it from being a 5-star experience unfortunately: - Purposely 'dumbed down' Smart TV in the room: upon switch-on, the screen displayed 'Samsung Smart TV' but it just had Freeview with the majority of channels missing. I would have preferred a paid movie rental service over this, even if they don't want you to log in to your own streaming services. - £25 a day to use their parking garage: sorry, this is extortionate. We paid over £300 for two nights and it's just greedy to expect us to pay £75 on top of that for the privilege of parking on site. We used JustPark to park nearby instead. - Hidden service charge on the cocktails at the bar so the price that is advertised is not what you pay. We stopped in around 9pm at night for post-dinner drinks and it was nice enough, but the noise from the restaurant prevents it from having much ambience. - This is nitpicky but there was a small language barrier with some of the reception staff - they were very friendly and warm but I didn't always understand what I was being asked. There was also a lack of communication perhaps between shifts - we had a blocked shower drain and asked in the AM if they could send someone to take a look at it. When we returned at 5pm reception couldn't tell me whether someone had been (they had, but felt like they should know?).

The hotel was excellent apart from check-in, which required tapping away on a tablet to give a great deal of information which was supplied with the original booking anyway, and parking which was very expensive at £24 per night for guests. Some hotels give free parking for guests.

Room very clean. Very nice restaurant area and bar. Huge comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was fine. Coffee machines in breakfast area did not make very nice coffee (I tried latte) and were temperamental. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful which was very nice.

Nice hotel, staff polite and friendly, good evening meal, nice pool, sauna and steam room. No welcome paperwork in the room so no details available for restaurant times, pool times, wifi code etc... The room was too hot and there were no openings on the windows. We tried to reduce the temperature with the air con but it would not go any lower than 19. Far too hot to sleep comfortably in. We asked at reception how to turn it down but were told it is centrally controlled and only goes between 19 and 21 degrees. We have never been in a hotel where you can't control your own room temperature! Our room hadn't been serviced when we returned from our first day out. We weren't too bothered and just asked for more refreshments to be provided in the room. Lots of dust under the bed and on a top shelf, which I found while looking for a hairdryer (dust fell over the coffee I had just made) Eventually found the hairdryer in the wardrobe, inside a black bag hanging on the ironing board (I had searched every drawer, cupboard and shelf before finding it).

Check in was due to be at 4pm (late anyway). The room was not ready until 7:40. This was not communicated by the hotel unless you asked reception. There were people who missed dinner reservations and events and just sat in reception waiting. Then the TV was broken in the room, and it was dusty/dirty. The pool was ok but tiny for the number of guests. We were offered free breakfast as an apology but they told there would not be enough food left at 10:10am when breakfast didn’t shut until 10:30. Parking is also £24 for 24 hours! Overall absolutely not worth the money.

We had a great stay and will return to this hotel next time we visit Cambridge. This hotel was the quietest I have ever stayed at. We were on the third floor. I highly recommend it. This is a good city hotel. Small enough to feel welcomed and not overwhelmed but with all the things you need. Beds were comfortable and very clean. Aircon was totally unsuitable. It has a lowest temperature of 19 degrees and no way of opening any windows. There is no way i could stay there in the summer months, It was October and mild outside. I can't imagine how hot it gets in there in the summer.

Our rooms were very well laid out and the quality of everything was high. Comfortable bed and bedding. Only small negative is that I would have liked to have been able to make the room a bit cooler, for sleeping.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Good air conditioning in a heat wave! Comfy beds. Well furnished suites. TVs are quite old and so you can’t watch Netflix etc on them. The apps that were on the TV were so old that they wouldn’t work because they needed updates we couldn’t do. The toiletries were nice except for the conditioner which was really runny and thin so if you’re particular about that I’d bring your own conditioner. Breakfast had a good selection but could have been of higher quality. For example, the scrambled egg was clearly microwaved and rather basic and flavourless. We enjoyed the pool as it was so quiet. It was a shame that the sauna and steam room were unavailable due to maintenance.

Wow. Loved it. Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff from Mark at reception to Dolly at breakfast. Everything about the room is high spec, designed with attention to detail -- from Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware to Hansgrohe Axor taps and shower. Bravo. Everything about the room was spot on and spotless. Plenty of quality breakfast choices and killer cocktails too. We'll be back.

The check in process was shambolic which spoilt the overall experience. The room wasn’t ready at 4pm (despite having 5 hours to turn it around), so we were moved to another room which was inferior to the one I booked and paid for. No apology. The parking was also ridiculously expensive at £24 per night; its not London. On check out we were not asked how the stay was just hustled out of the building. On the plus side the hotel decor is nice and the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

Honestly was not a good stay. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again. I was told my booking was cancelled prior to arriving and spent 2 stressful hours trying to figure out was going on. The hotel stated it was Expedia and Expedia said it was hotel (note the hotel told me the hotel is fully booked and was asking me to pay for a room for the hotel next door stating Expedia wouldn’t be able to help- very odd). Check in was mayhem at 4pm- no rooms were released before hand so everyone was waiting in the foyer. Details were taken at check in that weren’t properly recorded leading to a letter attached to my car in the car park as well as issues in breakfast. There were no ways offered to make up for all of the stress caused. I don’t usually kick up a fuss and am generally an understanding person. So this frustration is valid. Note: the pool is small but clean. Gym is clean and has good equipment. The parking is limited and first come first serve. I would check local roads to park if you choose to book. But it’s really not worth the money.

I was really impressed with this hotel, the look and ambiance, very stylish and well kept. Room was spacious very nice bathroom and liked the kitchenette area discretely tucked towards the door. Nice lounge and bar area. Really liked being able to use the leisure facilities like lap pool, steam room and sauna all modern and clean. Also an easy walk to central college and market place centre point of the city.

The hotel itself is lovely - clean and well maintained. Local area wasn’t very nice due to lots of roadworks. It’s a bit of a walk into town, the first part is main roads but then it’s nice once you get into the park across the river. Room was being cleaned at 7pm which was odd as we had been out from 8am. We also had a staff member try to enter our room at 9pm due to an error, but it was a bit scary. Otherwise an enjoyable stay!

Excellent customer service, the reception staff were all incredibly helpful. The dinner was exceptional, we had the Mac n cheese with pesto and Fish & Chips. Room layout and size was perfect, air con was not cool enough at some point it was very warm in the night. Breakfast was perfect and lots of great options. Enjoyed the cocktails. Will definitely recommend

The hotel is super stylish and clean. The pool it’s very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful, good quality food, just the right amount of variety and staff was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Cambridge. It’s a bit outside of the city centre but a 10 minute taxi ride would take you straight into the centre of town.
