What an absolutely wonderful place. This is truly a hidden gem. I would surely be better off not telling others about this place and just keep it to myself, but I feel that others really should experience what we did. The rooms are located above the most wonderful pub with truly exceptional food and drinks. Even though it is located super central in Notting Hill the room was completely quiet. The bar/resturant closed at 11 pm so sound was no issue. Our purpose for the trip was visiting a great Michelin restaurant in Kensington, but the food here gave us just as many lovely experiences. The manager may be the most friendly guy I have ever met. He truly wants you to have a lovely stay, keeps repeating that this is our home and that we should feel thereafter. I don´t have any reason to stay in another place the next time I visit London. Truly, truly exceptional. We will definitely return.

What a welcome! Staff was so incredibly friendly. We were surprised to see how beautifully appointed the room was. It was about a 12 minute walk (with luggage) to Paddington. Note that there are some steep stairs you’ll have to maneuver (no elevator). That didn’t spoil anything for us though!

Well the fact that is part of a pub was a great experience. People might be afraid that it would be noisy but the rooms are perfect and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. Super clean and the food at the pub was excellent. I would really recommend the fish and chips ans staying here for the whole experience.

Great location. Great food in the Pub. Handrails in shower would have been nice. Didn't realize there was no elevator-mad eit hard to manage for old people (75+). Outstanding staff.

This was an unexpected delight for me to stay for 2 days in London before heading back to the States. It’s great to have a restaurant on site since I was exhausted from a week of class so was able to just pop down and have a meal. It was easy to walk to The Underground and back to Paddington. The room was perfect for 1-2 people. Very comfortable, very beautiful, cozy beds and pillows were a treat. A much larger bathroom than I expected and was able to treat myself to a soaking bath. Be prepared for stairs. They do carry your bags up but I had to leave early so I had to take them down myself which was fine. Just pack lightly. Key drop off was easy at a small box before you could exit for a street access but the staff is usually around after 9am and you can drop the key with them. It is on a main road so there was a lively amount of beeping during rush hour and ambulance/police sirens but was quiet during the nighttime so it didn’t bother me. I was given a welcome drink and the manager was a delight letting me check in 2 hours early. Overall so much more than what was expected. They seem to really care about the property and how they treat guests. I would highly recommend if in the area and would stay there again.

Spent a night here during oasis event. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us, a welcome drink on arrival was unexpected but appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable but be aware there are lots of steps to rooms so if you have issues with steps maybe take this in account. Transport links are good with underground and bus stops within 20min walk, its close to Portobello road, Kensington gardens also. The only reason we didn't give this 5 stars was because of the breakfast.... I had the full breakfast whilst the wife has poached egg and avocado on toast, all our eggs were cold, and the bacon and sausage were nearly cold as well. All the above food looked pre cooked and was not cooked to order so maybe the area they use to keep food warm was broken or not switched on? For the price we were expecting better and felt disappointed as we were both looking forward to it. Didn't want to say anything at the time as the staff had been so nice but on reflection maybe I should have, might just of been an off day by the chef ? Looking ahead I would stay here again but I'd give the breakfast a miss next time

Very nice, large room; and while over pub and noise was evident (I was immediately over the pub on level 1), the pub closed at 11 p.m. and the rest of the time was very quiet.

Very cute. Not really a hotel inn. Few things didn’t work in room. Very hard to walk up down. Hard to reach staff vs waiters. Do not stay if not young mobile. We had a very pleasant stay but next time will need elevator and a less awkward setup for a hotel vs pub

Quiet, clean and with special touches.....be ready for winding steps leading up to well appointed rooms. We hoped they had food options in the morning but there are plenty of places close by. Other than that.....had a great stay.

Location is near Paddington although husband n I prefer the convenience of buses to travel around as less need to navigate stairs. Room is a little small although very clean n beds were comfortable. No lifts to get to the rooms so place will not be suitable for anyone with mobility or issues with climbing steps. Staff was excellent n really friendly. They helped me bring my luggage up n down my room. A number of restaurants around n you can also dine at the pub in the premise. Overall excellent boutique hotel for 2

Had a fantastic stay at The Hayden, just wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night. A lovely welcome by George who showed us to our room, which was on the top floor accessed via a narrow staircase. The room was beautiful, lots of complimentary items inc robes, slippers, a variety of teas and coffees, water, snacks and there was even a fridge tucked away in the wardrobe. The room and en-suite were spotless with complimentary toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. The bar served a variety of food and drinks, served by friendly bar staff. Would highly recommend this accommodation

There isn't a lift, so be prepared to walk up/down some stairs. Small rooms, but nicely decorated. Cleaning staff didn't change the sheets when cleaning the room despite my husband dropping some chocolate on the sheets during his midnight snacking. Overall the staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious!

Wow! This was an outstanding place to stay in London, fairly close to Kensington Gardens and Notting Hill. The room was immaculately clean and well appointed. The staff were super helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The service here was very good but the room was dirty. There was old trash and ear plugs under the bed and bottles of KY in the desk drawer which is not exactly what you want to see in your hotel room.

Nice sized room, quiet, cold bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable, l dont think the mattress is that old, so very strange it should be so uncomfortable, Sealy, perhaps cheapest model??? It needs checking, dont just press your hand on it!

A lovely 2 night stay. A warm welcome by the staff. Cases were taken to our room as we enjoyed a complimentary drink. Our room was at the back of the hotel ( room number 6) not much of a view from the window. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good, the complimentary toiletries were small, but got more on request. A good hotel in a nice quiet location with excellent staff. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at The Hayden. The staff were great -very welcoming and as accommodating as you might wish. This is a lovely pub and there are just a few rooms above it. Our room was lovely - small-ish (but then again this is an older building and it was certainly big enough for two people), well-stocked (thanks for the cookies), comfortable, and quiet. We would stay here again. The neighbourhood was very walkable and nearby to lots, which was perfect for our first day and night in London. We ended the day in the pub itself - great variety of food and a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Comfy rooms, nice and quiet except for the music from the pub and the room doors slamming shut in the early hours. But the music ended early and the departing guests could have closed their doors quietly instead of letting them slam shut. Nice complimentary goodies on arrival and in the room except we had no coffee pods for our last morning. But no big deal. We’d highly recommend staying here.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Hayden Pub & Rooms. The people who work there couldn’t have been any nicer. We arrived early and they stored our luggage and had them in our room when we returned later that day. They offered us a drink while we sat at the bar while checking in that evening. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only thing that could have made the stay better would have been a room with a window that you could see out. Our room #2 only had one small window by the door that looked out to a building. You couldn’t really tell what the weather was until you got outside. We ate two times in the pub. Food and drinks were very good with a lot of patrons mid week. All in all a great place to stay.

Staff was extremely kind and personable and treated us as guests who were staying in their home — even helped carry our luggage to our room. The hotel has a very traditional British feel to it, with a pub underneath the bedrooms and dog renaissance paintings in the hallways and rooms. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a very luxurious bathroom and shower. It included an espresso machine and USB wall chargers. TV package was expansive with free Netflix access. Food and drink in the pub were both good as well. Among the five hotels we stayed in during our European vacation, this one was our favorite.

Excellent stay at the Hayden. The room was quiet (double glazed sash windows) and air-conditioned - a rarity in this country. Decor was tasteful, bed and pillows very comfortable, and the bathroom was well set out.

Nice place with an easy close walk to the tube …nice pub/restaurant downstairs but not noisy …small room for great for traveling solo …bed could use a refresh but that would not stop me from staying here again

The accommodations were excellent. The Hayden thought of everything to assist us with our trip. Rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, the bathrooms were large and contemporary. They provided nice snacks, coffee machines chocolates, water, an umbrella and a welcome cocktail and the staff and food was top notch.

A wonderful place to stay in London. Super friendly staff, gorgeously decorated rooms that are generous in size for London and in a great neighborhood very close to Hyde park. Very quick access to both Heathrow and the center by the tube/train. Would definitely stay here again when visiting London.

Very nice, large room; and while over pub and noise was evident (I was immediately over the pub on level 1), the pub closed at 11 p.m. and the rest of the time was very quiet.

The stay was fantastic, the room was lovely, linen clean , great bathroom. Pub downstairs was really nice, busy and lovely vibe. The best part of the stay was the staff they were fabulous , without exception. I could not recommend this accommodation highly enough.

Had a fantastic stay at The Hayden, just wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night. A lovely welcome by George who showed us to our room, which was on the top floor accessed via a narrow staircase. The room was beautiful, lots of complimentary items inc robes, slippers, a variety of teas and coffees, water, snacks and there was even a fridge tucked away in the wardrobe. The room and en-suite were spotless with complimentary toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. The bar served a variety of food and drinks, served by friendly bar staff. Would highly recommend this accommodation

Truly excellent in every way. They do not have lifts/elevators but they go out of their way to help with luggage. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special mention for Dwight. I enjoyed the welcome drink which was very generous. Very nice pub too. This is now my go to choice for a hotel in London.

Fabulous stay in Nottinghill. Room was small but so, so quaint and decorated nicely. Bathroom ensuite was large and clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable with nice linens. Greeted upon arrival with a complimentary drink. Had complimentary bottled water and a chocolate bar in the room, which was a nice touch. Mini safe in room. Staff was super helpful - on our departure date, there was a transit strike on and they knew we had to catch a train to Paris in the morning. I wish I remember his name, but the fella called my cell in morning to let me know the traffic at St Pancras station was terrible and suggested we leave earlier to give us more time to get there. Was so thoughtful of him to do this!! Would definitely stay there again when in London!!

It was great. .6 mi walk from Paddington, wonderful service, welcome drink, departing coffee, super kind and helpful host, fantastic Fish and Chips. Rooms were well done, comfy, gratis chocolate. We will definitely come back here again.

They were absolutely fantastic, whether you’re staying for a night or a week in London. This is the place. They stayed open late past closing just so we could check in. Some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!

Our stay at The Hayden Pub & Hotel was great. Duarte checked us in at the bar and offered us a complimentary drink. The room was 2-level, clean, and nicely decorated. We stayed for one night the return from a London/Paris holiday trip. Notting Hill is very safe and walkable. The hotel is close to Paddington Station. Highly recommend this hotel for the quality and the rate.

Spent a night here during oasis event. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us, a welcome drink on arrival was unexpected but appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable but be aware there are lots of steps to rooms so if you have issues with steps maybe take this in account. Transport links are good with underground and bus stops within 20min walk, its close to Portobello road, Kensington gardens also. The only reason we didn't give this 5 stars was because of the breakfast.... I had the full breakfast whilst the wife has poached egg and avocado on toast, all our eggs were cold, and the bacon and sausage were nearly cold as well. All the above food looked pre cooked and was not cooked to order so maybe the area they use to keep food warm was broken or not switched on? For the price we were expecting better and felt disappointed as we were both looking forward to it. Didn't want to say anything at the time as the staff had been so nice but on reflection maybe I should have, might just of been an off day by the chef ? Looking ahead I would stay here again but I'd give the breakfast a miss next time

I was so impressed with the Hayden Pubs. Room was stylish, had every amenity (down to their own chocolate) — robes, deep soaking tub, super comfortable bed. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. About a 12-min walk from Paddington Station, close to Kensington Park, lots of cute shops nearby. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Hayden. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming as we arrived to London with lost luggage. They welcomed us with a drink of choice and then we enjoyed a delicious dinner and a restful night of sleep. We love the convenience to Paddington Station and our stay in Notting Hill. We highly recommend a stay in the charming Hayden! Delightful boutique hotel!

We were at the Hayden for 8 days and on our last day we were so sad to go! We loved it it here! The service, the bed (OMG, the best bed!!) and great food in the pub made our stay incredible. It’s a short walk to Bayswater or Paddington station and a short walk to Portobello Market. Loved this location so much! We will only stay here when we return to London!

This is such an amazing inn to stay at! The room was cozy, staff were friendly, even offering a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival and free snacks in the room. Not to mention the location is fantastic in Notting Hill. If I am in London again, definitely would stay at this property again.

Charming, comfortable room and extremely helpful staff. Proximity to lovely Hyde Park and Notting Hill shops was perfect. Totally walkable to downtown or just an Uber away if you're not up to the walk. Would definitely stay again.

This is a gem of a place! We had the most wonderful 5 nights at The Hayden. The room was fresh and clean, thick soft towls, slippers, coffee/tea-bar, comfortable beds and AC and fridge that worked! The staff was always welcoming and super frindly. The food in the pub was really good. The Hayden is located in a relatively quiet part of London and we felt safe walking around also at night. There are several subway stations in short walking distans, so easy to get around London. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hege & Hedda

Mysigt och familjärt hotell i fina Notting Hill. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ingick en drink i puben vid ankomst vilket var väldigt uppskattat. Smala och branta trappor till rummen så kanske inget för någon som har svårt att gå. Personalen hjälpte oss upp med väskorna .
