Everything looked modern and new, the quiet room with black out curtains helped us sleep in. The bed and shower was great and the room had a full size fridge. It's a shame the rooftop bar is no longer open.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities! Our room was so lovely with a super comfy bed & nice sized bathroom. Loved being able to use the gym & laundry facilities while we stayed here. The restaurant inside the hotel was also amazing with their own micro brewery located inside the lower floor of the hotel. The staff was super helpful & accommodating. It was really easy to catch a bus or take the tube into central London from this area too. We really enjoyed our stay here & would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cool spot to stay while in London! :)

Such a great stay for our first time in England. This Locke location worked for our stay. Close to bus and train stations to get in and out of the city. Cafe and restaurant on premises plus laundry, gym, and rooftop bar made it perfect for our stay. The staff was excellent and helpful in navigating us around the city to explore food and shopping. Can’t wait to stay at another Locke Property soon.

Kingsland Locke, has a nice little gym that you can reserve while you wash your clothes or maybe go literally up stairs to get a pint or a bite while you wash if you choose.

Room was nice, I didn't like that they immediately emailed me after I bought it, to bid on a larger room they'd said were fully booked. Staff were all friendly. Very impressed with the gym space.

We had a very enjoyable six day stay at Kingsland Locke. Great service from reception staff, super helpful. Gym and laundry facilities were very handy. However the bed in the city studio was very very low. Not much room to manoeuvre when you have two very large suitcases. Not much wardrobe hanging space either. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was not open at any time when we were around and about. We enjoyed the co-working space in the ground floor. Great added bonus. Would come back again.

A very nice property with a fridge and kitchenette. Loved the rooftop bar, and the downstairs bar/restaurant. The staff were friendly and offered advice on how to get around and where to eat. There wasn’t very much closet space, most of the space was taken for kitchen space, but we made due.

The room on the 5th floor was clean and spacious with facilities for self-catering. (Fridge, microwave and stove top). I stayed Saturday and Sunday and was not disturbed by noise. I loved the location—close to buses, local shops and cafes. The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Unfortunately, I booked this accommodation partly because of the facilities on the ground floor (cafe/bar/restaurant), which I remembered from a previous stay under different ownership. My stay was very comfortable. The receptionist was extremely kind and offered me the quietest room they had before I even asked. The room requires a bit of investigation to determine how to open the kitchen doors or sign in to the Wi-Fi, but once you figure that out, everything works smoothly and with a lot of style. Both elevators were out of service on my last day and a half of my stay, and I was surprised they didn't get it serviced earlier. Overall, I had a great experience, and I will come back and recommend friends.

It’s a health hazard. My wife complained that the bathroom smelled like BO but I didn’t feel it as we were going to spend most of the day outside. By day 3 I started feeling it and couldn’t even breathe in the bathroom. It smelled like mold. Also, cherry on top, my wife got a fungal infection on her neck. Had to leave in the middle of night as we couldn’t sleep and our anxiety was through the roof.

The staff at the hotel were awesome to deal with and to talk to. The two girls in the bar and the Spanish girl at the front desk were awesome. They helped out with understanding the town. The room wasn’t up to my preferences. Needs to be cleaned better. The area around had a lot of places you could get food or drink.

Generally ok. Good location, clean, room size ok. The one thing we didn’t realize was that we were getting a handicapped room. No chairs, bed access only from one side, etc. But that’s ok. The room didn’t get cleaned frequently enough - although i understand the limitations. However, trash was overflowing after say two days, not enough towels, etc. The main/only real complaint, however, was the banging noise some door was constantly making when shutting. It was directly in front of our room, and it was on the main hallway thoroughfare - so always in use . When asked about it, the head of maintenance wasn’t very forthcoming or really trying to help.

Our room had a very kimchi something died smell that was super bad. When we talked about it with front desk, instead of switching our room, they told us they would put the air filter machine in for a couple hours. We left and came back to (for me) an even worse chemical smell. I had to play music that night and come back late, so we just dealt with it. Rest of property is great and good location

Great location 2 mins from Dalston Kingsland station. 100m from EartH event, LOTS of food options, retro shopping, jewellrey. Fantastic bar, happy hr 5-7, friendly staff . We didnt eat there. Rooms arent huge but everything you need, 2 x hotplates, oven, fridge, dishwasher. Tea coffee and milk, washing up liquid and teatowel provided too. Iron and ironing board, haidryer, and safe. The bed is very low, but comfortable, its up against the wall on one side too. The only complaint I had is the complimentary soap, shampoo etc, dispensers didnt work and thats it!

Smart entrance lobby. Rooms very poorly designed. Double bed pushed up against window, so difficult to access. Huge kitchen area could be halved. No hanging wardrobe. Large banquette seating taking up space. Bed should have been positionedwith access from both sides. Bathroom sliding door difficult to open. Ditto cupboard doors. Lumpy pillows. Bathroom cabinets in awkward positions- either head banger over was basin, or wet contents can easily slide into WC below! Take a look at Premier Inn - they have nailed it! The bed is the most important part of a hotel stay and yours seems to be an afterthought. Very disappointing

This worked well for us when visiting for a few days. The space was small, but had a lot of amenities. The only issue we had, is the temperature. It would have been nice to turn the temperature lower and/or have the ability to open the window, the space was very warm, which made it hard to get comfortable for sleeping.

I'm so pleased I stumbled on this gem. Cliche as it sounds, Locke is *truly* a home away from home. I was blown away by the cleanliness, amenities and service. I had to store luggage early in the morning to head to work and they accepted it without question. I had to get a parcel delivered, it arrived and I collected it without a hitch. The gym / washing machines / communal spaces are brilliant. Wifi speeds are a dream. The only thing I'd say is the bathrooms, though gorgeously designed, should be much larger - the shower especially. The room having a full set of cutlery, utensils and plates, fridge/freezer and microwave oven saved me a world of hassle. You can bus your way quite easily to central ldn. Only feedback is staff should maybe remind guests that there's a back stairway to the gym / laundry room to avoid them taking the main lifts where the public bar / restaurant faces. 10 / 10 recommend - the staff are lovely too. If you see a good deal, grab it.

Was a lovely stay and comfy room nice and spacious, really comfortable bed And nice drinks at the bar and friendly staff. Only one small negative was where we was on the ground floor the first door next to the staff area. Through out the night and early morning you could hear the door slamming every time it was in use and was quite loud and woke us up a few times

Nice modern apart hotel. Small rooms in general with micro bathroom. 4pm check in not ideal. Nice modern decor. Good coffee. Amenities in the room all you need. Coffee, fridge, ironing board and possible for some small cooking.

Room was good (except all the echoey flat surfaces and high concrete ceiling), nice bedding, comfy. Cleanliness was good. But the noise. Oh my god. If you stay here DO NOT stay on lower ground floor. Every noise on the whole floor funnels into you room. The corridors and room shapes are almost designed to make this happen. Slept terribly!

The only really bad thing is the beds are less than half the height of normal beds which makes it really difficult to get out of - I really struggled. The rooms are very nice modern facilities including a little kitchen, decor was "interesting" with plastering stains on the walls not covered giving it an industrial feel. The rooms are quite small but this is London so you are only really going to use it as a crash pad - which made me wonder why the kitchenette gets so much prominence. Only one elevator working and half the times I used it there was a cleaning cart left in it. Because of the bed I won't be staying again.

I booked a queen room, which had a separate seating area. Although the room was on a busy main road, I really couldn’t hear any traffic. The room did get a bit stuffy as you couldn’t open a window. Aside from that all good. There is nice lounge / bar downstairs. The staff are really lovely and super efficient, I would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Kingsland Locke, I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again. Great bar and co-work space, nice, modern spacious room, and really close to the train station. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave a very warm welcome.

Amazing service, friendly staff when checking in. Clean and comfortable beds. Would have been good to receive information about the fire alarm testing every Monday - but other than that it was awesome. Will be back.

The hotel is lovely and beautiful. The room is very nice ans spacious. I would recommend this hotel if you need to visit Tottemham Hotspur Stadium (a direct bus). It is a bit far form the city centre (with the subway). The metro station is a four minute walk. The low score is because the employee at the reception desk are partaking in very subtle passive aggressive disssing. I think they could have kept their opion to their selves are tell it in a polite way. Instead they dist passive aggresively and the night clerk was just rude, by trying to be honest like I was one of his homies. The area around the hotel is very ghetto, and etnic. After one day I was used to it. And after two days I had enough of the ghetto vibes. There is also very much good vibes with restaurants and bars for very hip and cool people. So the area is very mixed, with diverse people. From homeless people to bussines man.

Amazing service! In particular EJ at reception. He went above and beyond for us ( he brought us ice from local shop as the bar was currently under refurbishment) honestly the best customer service ! Also the rooms were so clean and the service was just all in all great ‘

Booked this property well in advance in preparation for a concert. When we arrived at 3pm we were told our room was not ready and to come back in 30 mins. We did and it was still not ready so we had to rush for our event and get ready in the washroom. At around 5pm we had to leave without still being given a room. Received a phone call saying that we did not have a room and would have to be relocated to another hotel further away from the stadium. Although an uber to the new hotel was compensated for us, I still did not appreciate the disorganisation of the hotel not having adequate room for us despite reserving well in advance. I would have appreciated It was just inconvenient and tiring having to go to that hotel late at night after our event and then having to get another ride to our next location. Although the staff were helpful, this overall left us having a very stressful, long and draining experience which dampened the memories of the earlier event :/

Great location 2 mins from Dalston Kingsland station. 100m from EartH event, LOTS of food options, retro shopping, jewellrey. Fantastic bar, happy hr 5-7, friendly staff . We didnt eat there. Rooms arent huge but everything you need, 2 x hotplates, oven, fridge, dishwasher. Tea coffee and milk, washing up liquid and teatowel provided too. Iron and ironing board, haidryer, and safe. The bed is very low, but comfortable, its up against the wall on one side too. The only complaint I had is the complimentary soap, shampoo etc, dispensers didnt work and thats it!

The property and facilities were lovely. Everything was close by including transport, groceries and other amenities. However I probably would not stay in this suburb again with my young family as the area was not very safe and I felt uncomfortable walking around. It smelled like weed everywhere in that suburb.

We loved our stay at Kingsland Locke and would definitely stay there again, or at another one of the Locke properties. The apartment was clean and comfortable - definitely compact, but it didn’t feel cramped and it was exactly what we needed. It was fitted out with everything you need if you want to cook, and the concierge was always available in case you needed something. The staff were generally all super friendly and helpful too. Kraft (the restaurant on site) was delicious as well, either for coffee and breakfast or for drinks and a meal later on. Overall, a very cool, easy-going vibe in the whole property. We didn’t get to use them, but a gym and laundry were also available on site. The area has loads of restaurants, bars, and shopping options and the hotel was about a 2-5 minute walk from two different Overground stations, so you can get everywhere easily without being in the craziness of being in more touristy areas. Loved it!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities! Our room was so lovely with a super comfy bed & nice sized bathroom. Loved being able to use the gym & laundry facilities while we stayed here. The restaurant inside the hotel was also amazing with their own micro brewery located inside the lower floor of the hotel. The staff was super helpful & accommodating. It was really easy to catch a bus or take the tube into central London from this area too. We really enjoyed our stay here & would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cool spot to stay while in London! :)

Such a great stay for our first time in England. This Locke location worked for our stay. Close to bus and train stations to get in and out of the city. Cafe and restaurant on premises plus laundry, gym, and rooftop bar made it perfect for our stay. The staff was excellent and helpful in navigating us around the city to explore food and shopping. Can’t wait to stay at another Locke Property soon.

Spacious and well equipped rooms, really clean and modern, great public areas and lovely vibe in the bar area with good, local beers on tap. Right on High Street with lots of bars, restaurants on doorstep and Dalston Kingland overground just across the road. Will stay again if in area.

A very nice property with a fridge and kitchenette. Loved the rooftop bar, and the downstairs bar/restaurant. The staff were friendly and offered advice on how to get around and where to eat. There wasn’t very much closet space, most of the space was taken for kitchen space, but we made due.

The room on the 5th floor was clean and spacious with facilities for self-catering. (Fridge, microwave and stove top). I stayed Saturday and Sunday and was not disturbed by noise. I loved the location—close to buses, local shops and cafes. The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Beautiful hotel centrally located in Dalston. The room was great, although a bit small for two as we didn't have space to have both our suitcases open, but we made it work. Even though Kingsland is a busy street, the room was quiet and we both slept well. The bathroom does not have a door that can close properly; that was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise a great place at a decent price.
