MASSiVE Bohemian Oasis in Philly! 5 Bdrm/Sleeps 12

We had a lovely time staying here. I didn’t see it in the listing but mentioning that it was a 3 story house with a basement would have been helpful.

We held Thankgiving at the property, and it was very comfortable. Nice common area with seating, dining and kitchen connected. Kitchen adequately supplied, table and chairs for 8. Neighborhood is experiencing a lot of renovation/building. Loved having an older house with character and in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance. When we arrive some lightbulbs were out, owner had someone come to replace that afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

Traveled to Philly with a group of friends and we greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Communication with the host was prompt and easy. Caveat for those traveling with large groups: both showers are only accessible by going through someone's bedroom (the 3rd floor landing has been converted to a bedroom), so if you have enough people to be filling all the beds, you may want to have some talks beforehand about where everyone's comfort level is with privacy.

The beds are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Clean and welcoming home! Fun to gather and enjoy each other's company in the living, dining & kitchen area. We did not use basement at all. We had the unfortuate experience with trash day in the neighborhood and lets just say, more trash made it on the sidewalks and streets than should have, a City issue. There are a couple small maintence things, easy to live with. We would have liked to use fireplace, but told not to attempt to turn on, so we did not. Shower head needs to be replaced, but still usable in primary bath. Overall great place to stay. We walked to Ready Terminal and loved the walk.
