Really modern feeling and simple. Bathroom was clean. No staff on site except a security guard who was there till at least 11:30 when we walked in. Everything is explained in a few emails. Straight forward. Roof was sweet. It was empty when we went up around 4 on a Wednesday and had a great view of the skyline. There was a bar opening up when we left. Awesome spot in a really cool part of the Philly. South St is a great jumping off point to a lot of the city. Had unreal Morrocan one night, burgers and Greek food, all choice. Roku remote sucked.

Great location! New bakery feet from the lobby is excellent. Queens Village has so much to offer. We parked across the street for $30 a day.

Easy access, very clean, Very comfortable King bed..nice large bathroom with nice product's..great coffee. Very nice would stay here again. Con Because its Centet City Philly theres No Parking for free. Use the parking App to find syreet parking.

I like that the resort was self service and the security measures with entering and exiting. Parking is a nightmare but I did find parking nearby every night. I would recommend that Sonder partner up with the parking lot across the street, this would alleviate the stress guest might have around parking.

I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this hotel in Queens Village. Completely contactless so a wee bit "unwelcoming at first glance"- the room was immaculate, location perfect for me and bed was super comfy. Shower was strong and hot water unlimited. Basic amenities of a Kureig with coffee and a few teas, mini fridge and a few drawers and hangers were suitable for a 3-night stay. Restaurants of every flavor within a few blocks

Nice big modern room. Check in process was very easy. Neighborhood is lively. Has lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The room itself was clean but the top sheet of the bedding was stained so I detracted a point for that. Overall very pleased though. This being my first experience with Sonder properties.

This was our first trip to Philly and the location of this was great. We were able to walk to Liberty Bell. Everything was very convenient. The hotel it self was very cool, loved how secure it was, everything was clean, would definitely stay there again in the future!

This place is gorgeous! Very modern and updated. It's in a great and friendly location for walking around down town. Love that ear plugs and a sound machine were provided. Everything was immaculately clean. My one and only issue with the whole trip was finding parking!

+ coffee maker was super clean so tea didn’t taste like coffee, hold music at corp super cool - extra firm bed, no real desk and chair to work, had to log in to neighbors Wi-Fi, shower drain very slow

If you’re looking to stay near South St. this is an excellent option. Everything is done through their app which is convenient- no searching for key cards. There is a lot of construction but that will hopefully lessen. The floor to ceiling windows affect the temperature of the room and no blackout with the roller shades. No stir sticks for coffee maker. I like the minimalist look of these kinds of places. No up charges for things I wouldn't use on a business trip or tourist trip. Clean, comfortable beds and sheets. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved this place. Room was appealing and comfortable, and I loved the windows that provided a view and so much natural light. Location was perfect and walking distance to many things. I had just come from New York City where I stayed in a nice hotel, but it was smaller and only had a view of a brick wall, so it was a nice change. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the shower door had an issue where it wouldn’t stay completely closed at times, and the mini fridge was making weird noises and probably needed maintenance. Great place though

I was a bit worried about staying at a “self service “ hotel but place was safe , clean and quiet.. There’s a nice restaurant attached to the hotel so you weren’t completely people less … I didn’t have any issues accessing the hotel but I wasn’t able to use my phone to open my room door.. I had to use the access code… Also, you will need to connect to a streaming service for any Tv… All in all, I had a nice stay and would recommend..

It was fine for what it was and the shower was admittedly amazing! The room was also very well stocked, which was VERY good considering I did not actually see a staff member the entire time I was there! There is absolutely NO front desk om the premises! And the checkin process is a long and drawn out, even including a face scan over your phone! Ireally wish I was WARNED of this process prior to booking! Also make absolutly sure you have NO issues with your email because that is the ONLY way you will be able to get the access code to get into your room! No matter what they will not give it to you over the phone, even WITH the face scan and upload of your ID! I now know this from experience! I now understand why I've seen people just standing outside Sonder properties for extended times looking lost. And actually upon my arrival there was a guest who was just sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes completely unable to get into his room despite being on the phone with Sonder staff. People need to ne WARNED of the checkin process prior to booking or at least well in advance of their stay!

The only problem I had was that the code to enter the building and room was not valid, so I had to call twice and was kept on the phone for quite a while. The service was very courteous though, and they did apologize for their blunder.

It was a good Hotel to stay for our getaway. We did not receive the email for the check in so getting in was a bit tricky. Everything works with a code there with minimal staff. If you are not at ease with electronics and no staff on place then do not book in this type of hotel. However, when we called Sonders, it was reslly easy to have help from the staff. They made sure everything was right and that we got the code. Thanks to Joe from the staff for that. The room was clean and quite big. Great lightning, big bed and modern bathroom. The AC is pretty easy to use too. The area was safe but quits noisy at night. It was a vibrant neighborhood. Safe and sound for family and kids. Would definitely recommend this place. The only point to add could be to giving more towels or access to clean towels everyday. Thank you Sonders 😊

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. It operates entirely without a front desk, so everything is automated. This means if you get locked out of your locker downstairs, there’s no one to help you open it. Any deliveries must be picked up yourself, as there’s no service to bring them to your door. The bathroom fan in my room is triggered automatically when you walk by and stays on for 30 minutes. It’s extremely noisy and there's no way to turn it off manually. The hotel also has rigid check-in and check-out policies, so you can't check in early or check out late, even if your plans change unexpectedly.（even worsely, you downloaded app and found you can’t change on the app either.) Customer service is remote, and they don't seem to fully understand or address on-site issues. The soundproofing is terrible; I could hear everything from the staircase nearby, as well as parties on the first floor and the cleaning staff in the neighboring rooms. Every morning, I was woken up early by the noise. Additionally, the parking lot noise from trucks unloading was unbearable. Overall, it was an incredibly noisy and inconvenient experience. I would not recommend staying here.

This was a no contact property, as such there was no front desk nor anyone working at the hotel. In theory it is very nice however, two different times during my five day stay my code did not work either on the elevator or in the luggage room, which prompted me to have to contact Sonder via phone call or chat. When contacted they were very helpful however it would have been nice for my code to work in the first place, it was a spectacular property nonetheless and I do recommend this boutique Hotel

It's an unstaffed hotel, and when I tried to check in with the code provided, It didn't work. I spent an hour on the phone and waiting for a staff member to physically drive to the hotel since its unstaffed. After attempting 3 code they gave up an provided me a key fob. Once actually in the room, that night I discovered the AC didn't work. Since the building is unstaffed, a phone call is unlikely to fix the issue, so I sweat through the sheets all night. I guess I was luck since the sheets were so low quality, them being wet from sweat was actualy

We liked our stay very much. Our room was spacious and clean. The neighborhood is excellent and walkable, with a lot of shops and restaurants. The lack of any staff present was frustrating at times as there were login issues with the app at check in and I had to call customer service to get our building entry code.

This was our first trip to Philly and the location of this was great. We were able to walk to Liberty Bell. Everything was very convenient. The hotel it self was very cool, loved how secure it was, everything was clean, would definitely stay there again in the future!

Very groovys converted office building. Sleek and modern feel. AWESOME neighborhood with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Parking right across the street for $30/day. 1 mile walk to Independence Hall and Liberty Bell.

The room was gorgeous both clean and new. My only issues with this location were parking, which they are up from about, only Street metered parking is available. My second issue was the neighborhood. A block off South Street was sketchy at night but great during the day. I enjoyed a quiet night's sleep the first night but heard cars revving their engines till 4am the next night.

Really modern feeling and simple. Bathroom was clean. No staff on site except a security guard who was there till at least 11:30 when we walked in. Everything is explained in a few emails. Straight forward. Roof was sweet. It was empty when we went up around 4 on a Wednesday and had a great view of the skyline. There was a bar opening up when we left. Awesome spot in a really cool part of the Philly. South St is a great jumping off point to a lot of the city. Had unreal Morrocan one night, burgers and Greek food, all choice. Roku remote sucked.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay here! The restaurant downstairs is a plus and so many other choices are available within walking distance for dining . The hotel is very clean and comfortable! I will be definitely be staying here in the near future!

DO NOT STAY HERE. All virtual, no staff really. Building is terrible: exterior door codes are spotty, you get stuck outside a lot waiting for the keypad to unlock. Codes for third floor stopped working completely at 11:00am check out, (supposed to be good for 90min) I was stuck with luggage and a dog trying to get to the elevator. Had to call and get them unlocked remotely. Half the lights didn’t work in the first room I had. Second room had fruit flies. Keurig machine was gross when I made hot water for tea. I pulled the sheets back, there were hairs and dirt everywhere, not from my dog. Woke with a bug on me. The staff (manager, housekeeping) are nice when you find them but all young, and I get the feeling this company pays minimum wage and overworks staff to the point of possible labor law violations. I have nothing bad to say about the workers, they have my sympathy. Hotels.com failed to change me from a 2 night booking to 3, so I wound up with 2 separate bookings. I had to check out at 11am, work remotely in the lobby, & wait until 4pm to check into the next room. They got me into the next room 1 hour early, which was okay. The hotel shares a lobby with an overpriced pizza chain and the one pizza guy, possibly a manager, is very rude. He kicked me out of the HOTEL LOBBY while I was trying to work remotely, waiting for my next check in. I even apologized for my dog barking, but in hindsight HE HAD NO RIGHT TO KICK ME OUT OF THE HOTEL LOBBY WHERE I WAS A PAID GUEST.
