Lovely quiet hotel featuring relaxing lounge areas and a beautiful restaurant. Apart from breakfast which was excellent, we did not sample the evening dinner as chose to dine in the local village. Maybe another time.

A very friendly stay, with the staff excelling in making their guests feel welcome. The food was excellent and the bar service was the same. Couldn't fault anything and I'd definitely choose to stay here rather than the 'big name' hotel which is only one mile away.

Superb boutique hotel. Very comfortable, excellent food in restaurant and great bar. Our room and bathroom were tastefully presented. Staff uniformly excellent and young bar man very much passionate about his cocktails and whiskies. Great start to our trip heading for NC500 and great central location to discover Perthshire. Would happily go back again.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. A little tired around the edges but the staff make up for that. Food is excellent; dinner and breakfast menus are very good. Conservatory area is lovely with nice outlook. Excellent place for a short break.

The Cairn Lodge is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. Highly recommended. Great value!

Have used hotel previously and staff are great, very accommodating. Only thing would be breakfast at an earlier time maybe 7.30 instead of 8, Al & Trip-A state 7am but not correct. The staff did advise if we ask them ahead of time they’d accommodate the 7am start though. Clean & roomy rooms with great bathroom area. Definitely use again.

The Hotel is Superb the staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic . The hotel is very very clean . The surrounding area is beautiful. Must place to visit. We are definatley coming back to stay again.

We loved our short stay in Cairn Lodge. The hotel is so beautifully decorated, the staff is warm and welcoming, the food was delicious. The room was clean and smelled so fresh. The bed was super comfortable. This place hasn’t missed a single thing. I easily give it 5 stars!

Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.

The accommodation was really good, the room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was excellent. It was well porpotioned and appointed. The property fails however in their culinary offerings. We asked about the tasting menu but advised that we happy if this was not available. The staff advised that the tasting menu could be done however we would have to have canapes at 6:45pm - not sure why as the restaurant was not busy. The canapes came and were the size of a main meal and it only went downhill from there. As a tasting menu it was not as expected. There was no hint of refinement. There was no offering or pairing of wines. Quite frankly the meal was subpar. Clearing the price tag was for the amount of food rather than the sophitication. On the other side of the coin, breakfast was ok. The staff were extremely nice, and friendly.

Cairn is a top knotch, first rate organization. We put it at the top of the 7 places we stayed in Scotland on our adventure there. Very nice property - wonderful room and bathroom - very large and 5 star nice! The staff are extremely responsive! Highly recommend!

The food was first class and the staff were exceptional. Slight problem with the booking, wherby a signature double was booked and paid for, but a classic double was presented. The hotel made a local adjustment which was fine

Amazing boutique hotel, wish I had booked a longer stay. The rooms were spacious and luxurious with a wow bathroom. Everyone of the staff were friendly, Courteous ans extremely helpful. Dinner was one of the best I have eaten, I couldn’t not find fault with this gem of a hotel. I will will definitely be back again.

Everything was excellent but they overcharged my credit card. I had a pre arrival charge and instead of including that in the tot as l they charged my card for the full amount. When it c as me to their attention we were told we would have to take up their error with the credit card company. This is wrong and should be their responsibility to corrrct. I have a heart condition and do not need the added stress.

Excellent experience, staff are super attentive, friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful, food in their restaurant fantastic. If you dont have a car though be sure to request taxi numbers ahead of time, there is no other transport from the Gleneagles train station.

Lovely hotel with beautiful decor. Rooms very nice and food was first class. What made the visit most enjoyable though were the hotel staff. From Aileen on reception to the Manager (Lasse?) to the barman and waiting staff, they could not have been more friendly or attentive. This will ensure our return will be sooner rather than later.

I travel throughout the UK for work & tge Cairn Lodge is by far tge best & my favourite to stay in, it’s a hidden gem between the village of Auchterarder near Perth & the world famous Glen Eagles golf club. Superb boutique hotel. Very comfortable, excellent food in restaurant and great bar. Our room and bathroom were tastefully presented. Staff uniformly excellent and young bar man very much passionate about his cocktails and whiskies. Great start to our trip heading for NC500 and great central location to discover Perthshire. Would happily go back again.

Excellent experience, staff are super attentive, friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful, food in their restaurant fantastic. If you dont have a car though be sure to request taxi numbers ahead of time, there is no other transport from the Gleneagles train station.

Great property, warm and inviting and easy access to the A9. Nice spacious bedroom and luxurious well presented bathroom. Unfortunately dining was unacceptable. Waited 1hr 20 mins for the food to appear. It didn't so we left, finished our drink in the bar and went to bed. We would only stay again if kitchen problems were solved.

The Cairn Lodge is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. Highly recommended. Great value!

Amazing boutique hotel, wish I had booked a longer stay. The rooms were spacious and luxurious with a wow bathroom. Everyone of the staff were friendly, Courteous ans extremely helpful. Dinner was one of the best I have eaten, I couldn’t not find fault with this gem of a hotel. I will will definitely be back again.

Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.

The accommodation was really good, the room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was excellent. It was well porpotioned and appointed. The property fails however in their culinary offerings. We asked about the tasting menu but advised that we happy if this was not available. The staff advised that the tasting menu could be done however we would have to have canapes at 6:45pm - not sure why as the restaurant was not busy. The canapes came and were the size of a main meal and it only went downhill from there. As a tasting menu it was not as expected. There was no hint of refinement. There was no offering or pairing of wines. Quite frankly the meal was subpar. Clearing the price tag was for the amount of food rather than the sophitication. On the other side of the coin, breakfast was ok. The staff were extremely nice, and friendly.

The Deluxe room was excellent with a large en suite bathroom. Very comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food delicious. I shall definitely return in the future. The hotel building is impressive and is situated in delightful surroundings with stunning scenery all around.

We got a lovely welcome upon check in and shown around the dining room and bar area to familiarise us with the layout. Our room was very well presented and spotlessly clean. The en-suite bathroom was very opulent and spacious with nice toiletries. Breakfast was very good with the smoked salmon being some of the best I have ever tasted.
