Lovely area, peaceful and lots of walking opportunities. Easy to get to by local transport, bus or train. Walking into binz for restaurants and supermarkets. Lovely beach stretching for miles. Great sand and not busy. But for us in may the water temperature was cold. Hotel apartment was spacious and had a nice balcony. Check in at 4pm, so pretty late however they keep your luggage for you. You have to pay three days tax for staying two nights, never had that before. And it's 10 euros to use the pool. Overall a good place.

Despite the fact that all restaurants and bars close as early as 9:30 p.m. on a Friday during the autumn holidays – and that many roads and walking tracks in the area seem unnecessarily blocked with barriers and fences – the place still exudes a magnificent sense of history. The apartment is large and beautiful, with a nice balcony, a TV with more than 30 channels, and well-functioning Wi-Fi. However, the level of service is limited – for example, there was only one drinking glass provided. On the other hand, there were plenty of towels, soap, and similar amenities. A really good base for exploring Rügen, enjoying the lovely beach, and of course experiencing the impressive and historic architectural complex that Prora is. Breakfast can be highly recommended at Café Break in No. 201 or bakery nearby.

Room wasn’t ready until well after 6pm. If you allow late checkout on a Sunday then resource the cleaning schedule properly to allow the next guests to get in on time, OR DON’T OFFER A LATE CHECKOUT ON A SUNDAY - it’s really that simple! “Room not ready yet, come back at 4”, “room not ready yet, come back at 5 ‘if you’re lucky” WT actual ***k!? Then the cleaner took our dog bowl - why would you do that!? Messaged them twice to see if we could pick it up on the way back from our onward journey but they didn’t even have the decency to reply. Really good facility, but unfortunately it would appear that the management couldn’t run a bath, never mind a hotel. A real shame!

The apartment itself and the surrounding area were truly fantastic – a unique and exciting place to stay. Unfortunately, the check-in experience left a lot to be desired. We were charged several unexpected fees upon arrival, and when we asked for clarification, we received no proper explanation. Additionally, we were told that our access to hotel facilities was limited because we had booked through Hotels.com, which felt both unfair and unwelcoming. Overall, we didn’t feel welcome, and that was largely due to the receptionist and the way things were handled at check-in. It’s a shame, because the property itself has a lot of potential.

Fantastic flats in the old Prora houses! To reach hotel by car you need to pass a paypoint for parking - there you should press "helpbutton" and explain you are a hotelguest or press for a ticket and ignore the warnings of 50€ penalty - everything will be sorted when checking in at hotel - this could be explained at homepage or by mail and save many problems! The reception opening hours was 13:00 - 23:00 but it was closed when we came at 15. Because of just one person working, a qeue of irritaded guests formed. It was strange with closed reception when checking out... But the flat was really fantastic! Clean, modern, spatious and close to the wonderful beach! Breakfast was ok but lots of things ran out long before closing time.
