Check the small print - for a 5* listed property only a 3 hour check-in window was offered without pre-arrangement. I occasionally stay in other hotels in the area without an issue as a night porter would usually be available to assist upon late arrivals - I find it concerning that no staff member would be available on-site overnight, or out of hours contact details would be provided. No answer on the listed phone number when called, no contact from the property prior to leaving for the evening, hard to follow up with any support from Hotels.com for a Platinum Member. Naturally, no problem with collecting monies from the Credit Card however!
