For someone who had never stayed in a hostel before, I can confidently say this was An incredible first experience! I wanted to challenge myself and try something different, as I wasn’t sure how I would feel about sharing bathrooms. But I honestly had nothing to worry about! The facilities were extremely clean, and fresh towels are provided on arrival, with the option to get more if you need them. I also tried the sauna on my last night and regretted not doing it sooner! Such a treat! The communal spaces were lovely too. I would often sit there with my tea before heading back to my room at the end of the day, which made the whole experience feel really relaxed. The wristband system was also such a great touch. Being able to “pay” with your wristband was incredibly convenient and completely hassle-free. I honestly cannot express how surprisingly good this experience was. If you’re going to Copenhagen and you’re open to trying something new, don’t waste your money on expensive hotels and stay at CityHub! :)

We had such a lovely stay! The place is clean, cosy, and comfortable, with everything a traveller could need. It’s right in the centre of Odense, which made it incredibly convenient for our marathon trip. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and kindly let us check in early when we arrived ahead of time. We really appreciated the hospitality! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Odense. Highly recommended!

We LOVED this place! It has thought of everything. We loved the vending machines, the beer & wine dispensers, the 10minute walk to the grocery store, easy access to the bus system and super helpful and happy staff. There's even organization for the shared fridge. I was excited to see the microwaves, air fryer and panini press. It's expensive to eat out in Denmark! I was surprised to hear how quiet the lobby was. Especially when it was packed full of people hanging out, eating or working on their business. Now, if you're a 300lb+ person, I think you may have a bit of snugness in the room/pod and shower stalls. People also need to be ready to use their knees to get around on their bed if they're sharing their pod/bed. Just something to keep in mind with the pods, which had everything you need including multiple USB outlets including beautiful sound proofing. There were no slamming doors! There IS a night potty on a corner of the group of pods so that you don't have to trudge down a long hallway in the middle of the night to get to the restroom. If we ever come back to CPH, we'll definitely stay here again to save some money in the long run!
