the apartment was very nice and comfortable, spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. But the area around it, did not feel too safe. The vale parking was far if you have suitcases and bags to carry. The gym facilities were pretty pretty bad.

It started off really rocky. The valet was anything but friendly, didn't ask for a lot of information when I left my vehicle and made me wonder if I would ever see it again. It was right at dark and the property didn't feel safe. Walking to the room, I was cat-called by numerous people at the pool, in the lobby and waiting for the elevator. The room itself was so pretty, and the view was amazing. That night, I did put my suitcase in front of the door. During the day, it was alot better, the valet was never great, but the day staff was much friendlier. Once everyone seemed to have left Sunday, the place and area felt alot safer. As far as the area, same thing, nighttime was a bit sketchy with alot of homeless people. All in all, I felt more secure the longer I stayed. But being a single mom with 2 kids, I probably would not book this spot again.

The condo itself was great, beds were comfortable, extra towels, etc. However, getting through the entrance and elevator situation was very difficult. The stairwell next to elevators needs to be power washed badly. The elevators would work one day, get stuck the next. There was a third elevator that could have been utilized but it was not available either.

Pool was closed for just our first day which was a bummer after a long day of travel. However valet was easy to find and work with. Street parking also avail as well as a lot. Access into the building and apartment was smooth. The apartment was as pictured; clean and stocked with everything we needed. The bed was the best part! Noise level inside the apartment was minimal as there were a few big groups staying close by. The store attached to the building was very convenient and even sold food. The jellied was amazing! The host were very attentive and provided us with a discount on our next stay. I highly recommend and would stay again!

Very funky vibe and nice big apartment. Big comfortable bed and great shower. But lots of elevator issues, and it’s noisy. You hear the footsteps of people in the room above you. Still good value for the price.

While the property mgmt did a nice job with their app, recommendations & security, I wouldn’t stay here again. For such a huge building, we were stuck with 1 working elevator & it seems like from reading other reviews that this is an ongoing issue. I would not walk around at night outside either.. also major party noise late at night, thank god for security & that they quieted the noise. But overall this place is a bit sad & needs a lot of issues fixed before I’d recommend staying.

The apartment is okay. Large, full kitchen, but missing a lot of kitchen things. Knives, no cutting board. Apparently they didn’t change the door unlock code so it took a bit of time to get them to update it; not great after a 15 hour flight. After I left, they said I had broken a microwave plate. I had to drag it out of them that what they meant was the microwave plastic topper was missing. I explained to them that it was in the kitchen cabinets. They charged me $150 for a replacement, then told me they found it. So, of course I asked for a refund and they told me they never found it. I replied that someone else there said it was found. There are multiple people managing the account and no one seems to communicate what is happening. I’ve sent them messages regarding the charge, but now they’re ghosting me. There’re also crackheads that hang out outside, near the entrance. It didn’t feel very safe going in and out. I’m a fairly large guy, so I wasn’t concerned, but because of this I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to women traveling alone. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone really, with the mismanagement, overcharging, and lack of follow up. There are far better places around the corner at Farmers Market, which you’ll end up going to because there’s sweet nothing around this unit. Oh, lastly, most of the gym equipment in the building is broken, so don’t count on using the property fitness center.

The property smelled awful! After i got home, even clothes that I did not wear needed to be washed or dry cleaned from this chemical acrid smell. The suitcases still have the smell in them. The elevator was out the entire weekend. If we were able to use the service elevator it stunk of garbage. Garbage was thrown in the hallway next to the service elevator where it sat rotting. Overall, a terrible experience. I contacted Amy Finehouse and got no response about the smell.

Overall the room was fine, but the strong chemical smell throughout the room and floor made it hard to breathe. The dead roach in the bathroom counter was disgusting. They sent someone to remove it, but I felt like everything was contaminated from that point.

The apartment itself was good, very spacious and washing machine with cleaning products available. The rest is poor. We left 2 days early due to feeling unsafe for two girls staying with no internal lock. The area is surrounded by homeless who shouted at us when entering and exiting the building making things feel unsafe. The apartment is only locked by a coded lock which the code could be shared or lost. A dead lock internally would really help with feeling unsafe in the apartment. The pool gets basically no sun and was closed when we arrived on Tuesday we had to ask every morning for the staff to open. The corridor and room stunk of some kind of chemical, we were sneezing for the whole stay. The staff were not very quick to reply to messages at times and gave very brief and unhelpful responses to a couple of our questions. Floors were very dirty white socks black by the time we left and bathroom floor filthy, shower curtain isn’t helpful and water goes all over the floor so wiped and white towel was disgusting. Apartment upstairs were partying until 3am so barely slept last night.

My stay was extremely disappointing. There were cockroaches in every room and poor water flow from the bathroom sink. The room also had a strong smell of paint on the first evening which made me lose my appetite. Even the inside of the refrigerator smelled strange. When I arrived, I spent over 20 minutes outside trying to figure out the door code because management failed to mention that the exterior "ButterflyMX" keypad was being replaced and was out of order at the time. I was repeatedly trying the wrong code before realizing the issue. There was also no welcome sheet inside the unit with the promised Wi-Fi information and since there was no signal inside the building, I had to step outside late at night - where there were several homeless individuals nearby, just to access my check-in email for the password. Overall, the experience was frustrating and poorly managed. I would not recommend staying here.

Everything was great except for the marijauna secondary smoke mixed with another very off putting smell coming through the vents which penetrated our clothes & bags which I have had to wash twice & I still smell this awful stench in our clothes. Because of this we will never choose or recommend this property.

I was inundated with a nasty noxious smell (fumes) entire time I was there. Management refused to move me and blamed it on “floor stain” and offered to provide a “air freshener” which was already present - evidence they knew in advance there was an air quality problem. Total BS. Got home and wife was appalled by smell of my clothes. Tried washing them twice and had to throw them all away. HOTELS.COM you are risking your own reputation by allowing this property to list with you. If they’re still on your site in future I will take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do same.

I have to start with the fact that my two night stay was entirely refunded after one night. Amyfinehouse (the property manager) was responsive via chat and allowed me to cancel and refund me mid-stay. The property is a large building with apartments and some units operated as short-term rentals. While the building is old and has some funky industrial loft qualities, the issue was there was a HORRIBLE odor that was not apparent on the ground floor going in, but prevalent throughout the 7th floor where I was staying. It was a strong chemical smell that permeated everything and was the kind of thing you can't get used to. The smell transfer to my clothes for days after. I was satisfied with the refund of my stay, but buyer beware.

Great sized apartment - perfect for the group our size. however one of the bathrooms shower curtain was covered in mold. Beds were incredibly comfortable and walking distance to downtown, the area has a lot of homeless present.

Unfortunately this place was not to expectations. We had little bugs and roaches everywhere throughout the house. When called and complained they said they’d send someone to check it. Never heard back. Called again and said they sprayed and instantly found more. Called again said nothing else was available and that a raid bottle was under counter. Sprayed again myself. More came again. Called again and said they’d look at possibly compensating. The house itself is really cute and nice looking, but this was awful and then the customer service is bad. There is a ton of homeless outside but unfortunately that’s everywhere in Dallas. I will say others I know that stayed in the same building did not have this issue. So maybe it’s this apartment. I don’t know but wasn’t the best experience with bugs.

Great spot within walking distance to downtown and the farmers market. We had a lovely time. A little noisy Friday night with an afterparty, but otherwise a great stay. The apartment itself was nice and accomidating. We'd stay again.

The apartment was beautiful and clean, with an amazing view. The bed was comfortable. I cooked a few nights that I was there and everything I needed was available. Like other reviewers, I noticed a strong smell in the halls and room. At first, it didn't bother me, it smelled like new plastic (like a pool inflatable). But by the 5th day, it really started to bother me. When I got home, everything had that smell on it and everyone around me noticed the smell on me. It only took one wash to get the smell out of my clothes but it took 3 washes to get the smell out of my hair. Not ideal to smell like that when attending a conference and networking with professionals in my field. There were many loiterers around the building and they all were smoking pot, so outside was an overwhelming smell of weed.

The apartment was spacious, with comfortable furniture, and great views of Dallas downtown. The in unit washing machine and dryer and free valet parking in the parking garage nextdoor was very appreciated. The only flaw was that a few items in the apartment could have been cleaner. But once we notified the staff, they quickly took care of them. We had a great stay and will return.

Good location and communication. Property was clean but be wary of the description. We rented a place which said 2 bedroom but it was not. It was one bedroom and then one bed in the living room. Not ideal for the couples trip we were on and not worth the high price when we did not have our own rooms or bathrooms. In hindsight, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Room that was purchased was not available. They put us in another smaller room and we didn't have enough beds. The room they moved us to was already rented by another group and they showed up and walked in. Management literally just walk away and left everything in the air. 2 days later after calling and send messages they say my room is ready, and they are working on fixing the locks now. We moved our stuff out of the smaller room and in to the correct one but the locks still didn't work. This was a horrible experience.

Upon checking into our unit we could not do so until we paid the security deposit online. When paying the security deposit we coils not get it to go through the first time when we paid it so we had to do it again. I took my wife to Dallas for her 50th birthday. I was unaware that the company took the security deposit of $200 from my account not once but twice, it was also a charge from GUEST365 for 6.17 for liquor they also took $200 from my accounts. This definitely left me very frustrated and feeling upset because I was going to be 200 short of funds for my wife’s 50th birthday celebration. When arriving to the unit the young man with the face piercing did not greet us and was not friendly. They also said they lost the phone so we would have to come down everytime and wait for our vehicle. When arriving inside they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist with getting to your unit so we had to take multiple trips to get to our room. When I noticed I’d been over charged it was NO POSSOBLE WAY to get ahold of our host. The host name was Grace but it kept saying the hosts was Brandon when we went to contact our host. So some of the adventures that I wanted to take my wife on I could not because an extra 200 came out my account. It was also several guys hanging out inside the lobby the first night we were there. On Thursday morning September 26, our air stopped working so we had to buy a fan in order to get a good nights rest. It did not start working again.

This location is a bait and switch. The image of the exterior is a drawing, NOT A PHOTO. The location is across the street from Dallas City Hall, but it’s surrounded by homeless encampments and does not look as clean as the image. In most scenarios, you arrive at the hotel and then provide your details (CC+ID) but with this you have to provide BEFORE access to the building, forcing you to pay them. It’s a SCAM. The building smells like they’re covering up mold or abandonment. The doors have broken locks, there’s plywood covering holes in the floor. I felt unsafe as a sole female traveler. I asked for my money back and got the runaround from some West African dudes, “Prince Obi” and his boss who shifted between roles of “manager”, “owner” or my favorite- “something like that”. After my complaint, Prince proceeded to call me directly and harass me to complain about me complaining! Even after I told him to stop contacting me, he continued, only proving that they don’t care about boundaries or your safety. I ended up filing a police report because now they have my ID and CC information, too. Hotels.com refused to be accountable either when I called. Ultimately, they let anyone on their platform without verification of their services or facilities. DO NOT engage with them. They are bait and switch and won’t be accountable to you, as the client or your safety.

Great place, unfortunately we kept getting interrupted by the building staff. Once when staff just walked in because they didn’t know anyone was in there. Super awkward because we were having sexy time in the bedroom with the door open when that occurred. The second time because they were spraying for insects. The female actually yelled at us to open the door which was very off putting. Can’t blame the owner of the place though because they only gave notice they were doing it less than 24 hours before so it wasn’t their fault. The area has a lot of homeless and isn’t the safest place at night but during the day it’s ok.

I payed for half of my stay when I booked in July, regardless they charged me full price on check in. Not only were they dishonest with the pricing and payments made, but the staff was extremely unfriendly. The halls in the building reeked of marijuana. On check in, I was goven the wrong access code to my room which just made the already unsafe environment even worse. I would not recommed anyone to stay at this property.

This last minute booking turned out to be the best decision we made this trip! The property was so nice and we felt super safe. The digital check in and check out along with the valet made this effortless. The property was easy to access from Dallas Market Center and was surrounded by great eats in downtown. We will definitely book this property again. We may not ever book another hotel in Dallas!

Listing mentioned a sofa bed but it only had a sofa. Reservation was for 3 but only two towels provided during stay. No staff at building - these are apartment Airbnb rentals that seem privately owned. Cool old historic building. Clean but funky. Cool location and walkable but some might not appreciate the homeless population around the building.

Our apartment was the perfect urban chic! It was spacious and beautiful and included everything we needed. The only issues were the building’s elevators were not working which caused an inconvenience, and at night, we noticed what appeared to be a lot of working ladies and homeless around the building.

This place is great, the rooms are amazing, the area is great as well. Having said that, the homeless situation is out of control making it very unsafe and unsanitary to cme in and out of the building. This is not the property's fault but it is a problem.

Apartment itself was great. I had a few issues though. First of all the walls are paper thin, I could hear conversations my neighbors were having. Also, my brother saw someone come out of our room when he tried to check in, which understandably unsettled him. The staff were helpful however and checked our room over the phone with me to make sure everything was ok, although we never got an answer as to who was leaving our room. The other issue, and this isn’t the apartments fault is the area around it isn’t the best. The staff and amenities of the apartment(including an on-site convenience store and pool) are nice(especially for the price) but there were a few things that would make me think twice about staying there again.

Great property to stay with all room amenities, a convenient store around the corner, large game room and gym. We were well entertained on our rainy day staying on the property. There is a large homeless population, however they kept to themselves for the most part. There are also 2 doors to enter and exit the property and the homeless population is mainly at one of the entrances, so if it bothers you, you can use the other door.

When I first booked Amyfinehouse, I thought it was a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a beautifully furnished apartment. Very comfortable couches and bed. Big kitchen, big bathroom, with a washer and dryer in the closet. The kitchen was fully stocked with a fridge, toaster, microwave, stove, and a dishwasher. It was a 5 minute walk to the convention center, which is where we were spending most of our time. Convenient area, as there are plenty of restaurants and stores around for dining and shopping. Communication was great and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was nice. It was very clean but smelled like mothballs. The elevators in the building were very slow. There were no extra pillows for someone sleeping on the sofa bed. I would recommend more washcloths (at least one per person per day). It was a little weird that the luggage holding service (that was $9 per bag) meant the convenience store downstairs would hold the bags for us. Yet, when we arrived to pick the bags up, the clerk didn’t know what we were talking about or where our bags were. A quick phone call cleared that up, but it seemed odd.

The location was good, the included valet parking was also very nice. There was no on-site staff that I could find. Anything you needed you had to do by phone. Overall it would have been a good visit if not for the fact that I felt like I was being scammed the whole time. The room I reserved and paid for online was not the room I was assigned. While it was decent, it wasn't nearly as nice as the one I rented. When I called about it I was told that the people who had been in that room the previous day had decided to "extend their stay". I get that. What I don't get is why they couldn't say to those people "we'll have to move you to a different room because the one you are in has another family moving into it tomorrow". They had one other room with the same layout that the told me would be available the next day. When the next day came, it turns out the people in THAT room has also, magically, decided to "extend their stay". No compensation, no partial refund, just "Thank you for paying for the really nice room and staying in the 2nd tier one instead. Have a nice day. Don't forget to give us a great review online." Right. I feel like it was a bait and switch. I have no confidence that the nice room I reserved even actually exists.

Great location that’s central to everything downtown. There are unhoused people but it’s expected for downtown. They don’t bother anyone. No staff onsite but instructions very easy to follow. Just wish the code for the gym was on multiple pages of all the instructions given to find with ease. Also, the pictures on hotels.com don’t match the room booked.
