Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second time staying here in 6 years. Location is perfect, river entry perfect, plenty of room for plenty of people. Property Management personnel are so easy so communicate with. We'll be back for sure!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed at Southern Comfort with my daughter, her husband and their kids, as well as my son, who was visiting from Los Angeles. There was plenty of space for us all. The location was great and it had easy access to the river. HEB, Gruene and New Braunfels were short, scenic drives away. I read reviews of people complaining about the lack of ceiling fans because of bunk beds. The master suite has a ceiling fan and all of the rooms have a box fan in the closet. That can save you some much needed space in the car. The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of towels for everyone. I had one problem, and I am partly to blame. I was carrying my granddaughter on the lower deck and I did not see that there was a step down as it looked like one level to me, and I fell with her. I would recommend a colored stripe or a sign to watch your step as the boards seem to blend together from one level to the next. There is one at the front door step, but it is getting worn. Other than that one incident, it was an awesome stay!
