Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, and offers so many amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and snacks, coffee, tea, and access to a shared refrigerator and microwave in the common area). We realized late on the evening we arrived that we only had one bath towel. After reaching out to the manager, we had towels delivered to our door first thing the next morning with a gift card for a local coffee shop as an apology for the oversight. This was totally unexpected, but so appreciated, and just goes to show how the staff at this hotel truly cares about their guests' experience. The hotel is also in an area close to several restaurants and bars, which was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

what a unique, artistic, comfortable treat this hotel is stay in. A quick drive to fun excursions and restaurants. A kitchen that offered up a few snacks and a coffee/tea bar to use whenever you need. You can tell that each picture, decoration, color was chosen with thoughtfulness. A homey feel in a historical building that I will definitely stay at again. The bed was so comfortable, the towels were nice quality plus great water pressure and a wonderful step in shower that I stayed in a little longer than normal, plus I loved the smell of the body wash. My only con would be that the huge bedroom windows did not have blackout curtains so bring a sleeping mask if light wakes you up. otherwise, it was perfect!

This is a historic property on a residential street. Lots of charm. It is a bit away from Jim Thorpe but really cute. There was a coffee shop and a local, friendly bar walking distance away. We enjoyed our stay after a long day of hiking and appreciated the coffee and common area in the hotel available in the am.
