High marks for cleanliness. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were less comfortable than standard motel pillow expectations. I marked this review down to a 4 because of their exorbitant pet fee. On hotels.com it says dog friendly with a fee. In my experience, the fee is usually around $20/night. I did pay $30/night once at a nicer hotel. They charged us an extra $40 on an $80/night room!!! A 50% charge for a small dog for a motel with vinyl floors. I find that absolutely egregious. I don’t expect much in the way of amenities from small town motels, but I would note this motel does not have conditioner in the bathroom. They also have a weird sign affixed to the wall about not flushing feminine products or marijuana. There was no one at the desk to check us in at 8:00 pm and no one to check us out at 9:45 am. We had to wait five minutes for the owner to return to check in. We ended up leaving the card in the room at check out. We were only concerned about checking out at the desk because they said check out was at 10:00 am and they had more exorbitant fees if you weren’t out by 10:00. Overall, it was a decent price unless you have a pet, then it was WAY not worth it. I would not stay there again with my dog. You will probably be satisfied if you just want a clean, cheap motel, are prepared to check out before 10:00 am and don’t have a pet.

Basic bed & shower; just what I needed for a few hours. Very friendly and helpful staff as we came in late at night.
