Dormio Resort Costa Blanca Beach & Spa

Flott leilighetshotell med innholdsrik leilighet og fantastisk utsikt. Flere av de ansatte var hyggelige og imøtekommende, men mange hadde svært dårlig/ingen engelskkunnskap. Beliggenheten er fantastisk, men det er nødvendig med bil for å komme seg litt rundt. Lite lokalsentrum innen gangavstand, og kort vei til tog som kan ta deg både nordover og sørover. Litt lite bassengområde, og savner at noen ansatte tok litt ansvar i forhold til drinker og flasker på kanten av og til og med i bassenget. I 2925 bør det og være mulig å ha forbud mot røyk og e-sigaretter i bassengområdet og spiseområdene. Veldig enkel inn- og utsjekk. Godt med parkeringsmuligheter både i garasje (mot betaling) og på gatenivå (gratis). Lett å komme seg til og fra flere interessante områder i nærheten (Alicante, Benidorm, Calpe, Valencia). Leilighetene var lyse og trivelige, og flott med den lille stranden rett ved hotellet.

Le problème est que personne ne parle Français dans l hôtel contrairement à ce qui est expliqué. La piscine aurait pu être bien mais à l ouverture à 9h des gens des autres bâtiments mettent leur serviettes sur les transats pour n y venir qu à 16h et empêchent donc les autres vacanciers de profiter de cet espace car personne ne dit rien.

I took my Mum to the Dormio Spa & Resort for her 60th Birthday treat with the plan to spend the entire day in the spa using the facilities listed ( Gym, sauna, steam, rain experience showers & jets in the pool) & book a massage. When we arrived I was advised that the masseuse only works 2 days & these are mid-week, making this not an option. If this was available, a massage was a steep 100 euro. The facilities were 'open' so we used the gym which had no useable lockers, the steam room was not on & smelt of damp, the sauna was also not on, the large showers did not turn on, the jets in the pool did not turn on. This meant our 'day in the spa' was now 30 mins in a very minimal gym & a dip in a pool. There were no spa staff members mannig the zone to help with any of this. The apartment was clean & the view was lovely but the general facilities were quite lacking, there was no drinking water int he room & nowhere to buy any from after 3pm. The shower head collapsed onto us every time it was used. There's 1 lovely restaurant on site & nothing else for miles in either direction making it limiting for choice. It has potential to be a lovely place but we were very disappointed with the false description of this stay, these are just apartments, not a 'spa resort'

In general a nice apartment for a family of four. Dining service on the property is very limited and must be booked in advance. The roof terrace was very nice for use in the daytime. In the evenings we experienced bad smell outside and also bugbites. The excercise room on the premises was small and very scarcely equipped. It was very hot with bad air quality and also dirty with no means for cleaning available. We asked for a late checkout of 2 hours. For this they charged us 25 euros.

The apartment was great, we had an apartment with a roof top terrace. Kitchen was well equipped and overall clean. Nice access to the beach and pool area also ok. The downside was the gym, horrible, so if you look for a resort where you can workout forget it. It would have been a terrific experience overall if the gym would have been up to some standard at least.

Outdoor space was exceptional with uninterrupted sea views. Negatives, booked 2 rooms, they couldn’t have put us further away from each other. Our room was a penthouse, 2nd bedroom was tiny with no clothes storage what so ever, Wi-Fi wasn’t worth it, when you finally connected it would drop out. On site bar closes at 4 pm, restaurant prices were extortionate.

Complex is mooi. Zwembad wat klein en weinig bedjes. Strand direct aan complex. Dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is op ca. 10 kilometer. Dit is heel onhandig. Minimarket bij complex is duur en heel beperkt. Restaurant Nuzza is heel goed. Tapasbar is chaotisch, slechte service en ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Restaurant La Perla Azul is ook op loopafstand (3 min) maar sluit al om 20.00 uur. s Avonds verder geen vertier voor wie dit zoekt.

Dormio Hotel is fantastic. Just the sort of place you want to be for peace and quiet. Lovely apartment, very clean, friendly staff, great SPA. I found my new home away from home!

Pros: Overall good value. Easy beach access. Great ocean views. The resort was clean and well maintained. Very spacious penthouse apartment. The kids club (although humble) was nice. The two employees working there did a good job. In fact, customer service was good everywhere at the resort. The restaurant is a bit pricy, but good food at a convenient location. Cons: Not close to nearby shopping/attractions/etc. You’ll need a rental car. The distance to shopping is compounded by the fact that the resort’s shoppette is terribly limited and overpriced. Also, the pool area is small for how big the resort is. The pool is located such that it only looks out to the resort. Thus, no poolside views to speak of despite the resort being surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Next, they don’t honestly have a gym/fitness center. It’s essentially a closet with a couple machines. Looking back on all my travels in my life, it’s the worst hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Finally, the apartment had some quirks. The most notable one is that our balcony door (which leads to an upstairs patio) only opened from the inside. If people were upstairs on the penthouse patio, and someone inside the apartment closed the door, the people upstairs would be stuck up there until someone inside the apartment opened the door again. Not an ideal set up, especially since the doors have to be closed for the air conditioning to turn on. The good definitely outweighs the bad, but there is room for improvement.

Nice stay, but it’s not 4 star. Stayed for 14 nights and towels were only changed 3 times with one “light” clean. One toilet roll for the full 2 weeks. I get it’s self catering, but I think more is expected given the 4 star rating.

Absolutely fabulous location in a quiet sandy bay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and warm in the evening even in January.

Silberfischchen im Bad und im Flur. Die Rezeption hing immer ein Schild bin gleich zurück. Das hat 10 Minuten gedauert um die ganze Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer und Küche sauber zumachen, dann kann man sich denken wie unsauber die arbeiten.

It was a delightful stay, apartment/room came complete with a fully equipped kitchen; refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and more. It felt like a cozy home away from home. However, the balcony terraces are not particularly private unless you’re staying on the highest floor. The only downside was that one of the central heating radiators was constantly on full blast, and there was no way to turn it down or off. It was quite hot for us, especially since we’re from the UK, but overall, it was a fantastic place. The staff was very helpful, and room service was only available once during our nine-day stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It would help to have additional fans in the rooms and also a hair dryer.

Lo bueno : -El hotel y playa son muy bonitos. -La limpieza al recibir el mini apartamento era muy buena (sin embargo pasamos allí 5 días y no acudieron a realizar limpieza ningún día). -El servicio y comida del restaurante son buenos. Lo malo: -Las camas son muy básicas, colchones relativamente delgados y duros, 1 sola almohada por persona. -Lo peor fue que 2 noches distintas tuvimos que dormir con calor por que el aire acondicionado no funcionó y no hay nadie que te resuelva problemas en la noche. La solución del hotel fue simplemente ofrecer una disculpa en las 2 distintas ocasiones. -Además, no podíamos ni abrir las ventanas por qué en las noches se percibía un olor intenso a clocaca o tubería (insoportable) y había mosquitos. Edificio C1.22 -Esperábamos un mejor servicio de Spa ya que es parte del nombre del hotel !! Pero no funcionaba ni el sauna ni el baño de vapor. Nos realizamos un masaje de pareja, los precios son altos para la calidad de servicio que realmente ofrecen.

This is our second stay here at Dormio and we really loved our apartment even more this time. Its position overlooking the sea and size of the terrace was excellent.

Lovely looking resort in a beautiful location, actual apartment was a little disappointing - we arrived to an apartment that was like an oven and it took 12 hours to cool The air conditioning was noisy - it would wake you up as and when it clicks on The dancing around the pool was something reminiscent of a Benidorm themed event which would put me off staying again / it seemed to be a daily thing…. The beach restaurant was pointless as it’s always empty but apparently booked for weeks - the small cafe on site was pleasant enough Having to pay for parking irked me when your paying 400 euros a night for an average apartment t The staff where lovely and for a 3 star resort it’s just about okay It’s fair to say I won’t be back

Prachtig penthouse met een fantastisch uitzicht over zee! Van alle gemakken voorzien en heerlijke bedden. Absoluut een aanrader!

25 min from Alicante airport and 25 min to Benidorm. Great view, very good rooms, clean, good internet connection. No microwave but there is a stove. They have garage but you can parc outside and save some money. One small shop within the hotel. Otherwise, no shops around. You need a car to be able to get around. There is a small beach as well. Yes, I would go there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dormio. Lovely location and great sized apartments, suitable for all ages and families. We had a problem checking in and this took over 2 hours for us to receive a code to access our apartment. I just think it would be ideal for there to be a member of the team from Dormio to be on reception until at least midnight. Due to the size of the property. Everything else was perfect. The lady on reception was so helpful and granted us a late check out. We didn’t ask, however, kind and thoughtful. We would definitely go back.

We called this hotell 10 times, at least. NOBODY answer. I send message that we Are two days late, in addition, we want to extend the stay by 4 weeks. Upon arrival, Hotel stole out room.No explanation shy, they just told us the hotell is full. They never called us, they never sent e-mail.

The location is absolutely beautiful! It was difficult to find where to check in. Then it was difficult to find our apartment. The woman at check in told me to walk through the garage, but I did not see a sign to the apartments. They could use more informational signs. The door to walk through said emergency exit. The bed was comfortable and the restaurant was lovely. We ate outdoors, but there was an indoor option.

Die Anlage liegt in einer tollen Sandstrand-Bucht direkt am Meer. Die Apartments sind schön eingerichtet und die Küche war voll ausgestattet. (sogar mit einer Spül- und einer Waschmaschine). Unser Apartment hatte Nord-Ost-Ausrichtung, sodass wir ab Mittag auf dem Balkon keine Sonne mehr hatten. Aufgrund der angenehmen Temperaturen war dies aber kein Problem. In dem kleinen Laden in der Anlage kann man frische Seelen in guter Qualität und auch andere Utensilien für das Frühstück kaufen. Für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub ist die Anlage hervorragend. Allerdings braucht man ein Fahrzeug, weil die Anlage weit außerhalb von den touristischen Regionen liegt und daher auch sehr wenig Restaurants und kein Geschäft in unmittelbarer Nähe ist. In den Zimmern sind Hunde erlaubt, was auch dazu führen kann, dass man morgens von den Nachbarzimmern mit Hundegebell geweckt wird. Etwas verwundert waren wir, dass wir die Versorgung für Toilettenpapier nach der Erstausstattung (2 Rollen) selbst in die Hand nehmen mussten! Das sollte bei einer 4-Sterne-Anlage, wo sonst alles perfekt ist, den Gästen nicht zugemutet werden! Alles in allem wurden wir an der Rezeption immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub genossen. Wir können die Anlage sehr empfehlen.

This is a beautiful property with a stunning, small beach and views of the ocean. There really isn’t anything around the property worth seeing but it was an incredibly relaxing 48 hours in the middle of our busy trip to Spain. We enjoyed playing in the ocean and sitting on our rooftop deck.

Väldigt fint. Med en fantastisk utsikt, välutrustat kök. Fina rymliga rum. Hjälpsam personal vid in o utcheckning. Trevlig personal på restaurangerna . Enda negativa var att där inte fanns andra restauranger i närheten och att man i stort sett var tvungen att äta på resorten om man inte har tillgång till bil. Stranden nedanför var ok. Lite liten och där låg ganska mycket tång. Kommer gärna tillbaka men då ska jag ha hyrbil.

Beautiful apartments, really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back. If staying here would recommend to rent a car as there isn’t much near by. There is a train station, which is a 5 min walk however, line closes around 10:30/11pm

Fantastiskt läge vid havet och lagom stor strand med fin sandbotten. Det som är negativt är att det är långt till restauranger och livsmedelsbutiker. Spårvagnstation finns inom 5 min gångavstånd. Vi är väldigt nöjda totalt med vår semestervecka här!

We had an amazing holiday at the resort. Our flight landed in the evening so check in was no issue for us. The apartment was lovely spacious and clean. The sea view from the terrace was beautiful and the beach is next to the resort and our kids loved it. We also explored the beaches around the area and they all were so beautiful and lots of activities like parasailing/water inflatables/boat trips etc. My kids experienced was made so much more special because of Miguel,Georgio and Marisa - in the kids club they were so entertaining and did lots of activities with the kids, especially the dancing by the pool and meeting the mascot Mio! My kids will miss you guys so much - thank you for all the love! We paid for breakfast at the bar they have there and found it nice, there could be more variety offered for the breakfast buffet though. There is also a restaurant on site but we didn’t get to try it - next time! Underground Parking is offered at a price and we used this as we had a hire car. The only negative or constructive criticism I have is the reception staff could smile and be a bit more pleasant and friendly as they are the face of the resort.

They do not accommodate for allergies in their bar. Beautiful resort over all. You will need to take the tram to get groceries , it will be 30 mins one way.

Apartments of a reasonable quality but the hotel facilities are poor.. only 1 restaurant on site which is closed 2 days a week with very limited menu choice… Only a small shop to buy essentials (limited) you wouldn’t be able to fed a family -just drinks and crisps etc… no local pubs, restaurants or cafe

Es un resort fantástico, si bien, no ofrece servicios. Hay un restaurante que estando vacío no te da mesa y un bar bastante justo. La Cala muy tranquila y los apartamentos están muy bien para pasar unos días de descanso.

Ottima posizione sul mare, ottimi servizi piscina spa ristorante e bar. Personale molto disponibile, solo un po’ carente nella dotazione degli appartamenti, asciugamani e prodotti per l’igiene . Per il resto tutto meraviglioso

Resort incantevole con vista panoramica direttamente sul mare e piccola baia tutto molto ben organizzato per una vacanza lontana dallo stress quotidiano. Con l’auto puoi raggiungere i vari dintorni molto caratteristici e con ristoranti tipici con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
