The property itself was fine. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable and clean. The pillows sucked, with zero support. There were 3 pillows, so one of us got a little more support than the other. The pool was filthy. Hairballs all over. The bottom looked like the beach with all of the sediment. Breakfast wasn’t great. In-laws got different options before 8am (breakfast bowl) that was gone by 805 when we joined them. Egg muffin sandwich was simultaneously soggy and hard, and Swiss cheese wasn’t a great option on it. Waffles had a grittiness to them I’ve never experienced elsewhere. The oatmeal was the hero of the day.

Our room had a foul vinegar smell and there was a fairly large spot on the floor where it looked like there had been an accident. It was late when we checked in. At that time we did speak to the front desk and inquired about switching rooms but none were available in the size we needed (2 queens and sleeper sofa). We asked for febreeze to try to cover the smell, and it temporarily worked, but the smell seeped through. We mentioned this again upon our check out, mentioned Hilton's satisfaction guarantee policy and they said they would check the room for the smell and have the manager contact us, however since we booked 3rd party there was likely nothing to be done. The manager contacted us a couple days later and basically said no one else on staff smelled anything foul (of course), too bad for us, and we should have come back again after the Febreeze didn't work and they would have done something else for us. It was already past midnight by that time we tried the Febreeze, and I was not going to further waste hours of sleep. Plus they had already told us there were no other rooms of the size we needed. When leaving the hotel, we did see large gallons of vinegar on the housekeeping cart. I believe this is the main method they normally use to clean (they do allow dogs), so staff must be nose blind to that smell. Other than that, the breakfast was good.

The property was very new, comfortable and was a very convenient location. The only issue we had was that the room was infested with tiny ants. We notified the front desk and maintenance came by and put down a small ant trap. I could not believe that the hotel did not have a can of RAID anywhere. We took it upon ourselves to buy a can at Walmart and we took care of most of the problem. We continued to see some ants through the stay but we blasted them with RAID and By the end they of our stay we saw no more ants.

Stayed here with the whole crew and we actually survived, so that’s already a win. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, which I appreciated. Breakfast was both. The kids ate it without complaining, so either it was delicious or they were too hungry to protest. I’ll take either. Only issue: the bathroom door. Beautiful design, very stylish… absolutely no lock. I’m all for family bonding but some things need privacy. Trying to hold the door closed and handle business at the same time is more multitasking than I signed up for on vacation. Overall? Would stay again. Maybe without the kids.

The ADA 2Q & sofa bed was really big. So spacious for my son’s power wheelchair and my mom with her walker. The layout was great. Best part of the bathroom was an actual door that allowed for the full size of the doorway to be used.

Clean, new, friendly, inviting and safe. Only part of my stay I struggled with the entire night.. THE BED WAS HARD AS A ROCK!!! Ive stayed at MANY hotels in the past 4 weeks, and other Home2 hotels but this bed was the worst I have ever triend to get sleep on. I was seriously, SERIOUSLY disappointed in the hard bed. Sheets and blankets were extremely comfortable, it was nice to have the space in the room and full kitchen, but I just CAN'T get past how bad the bed was.

First time staying at a Home2 Suites, enjoyed it. Will say the pillows were very thin and soft, collapsed a lot, not much support. If you have a "pillow need" then bring your own. Otherwise, a great place, great location, close to L'ville.

We continue to be so impressed with Home2Suites. I prefer a shower over a tub and appreciate the safety bars. Rooms are spacious; beds are comfortable and roomy kitchen is well-stocked. The breakfast has a wonderful variety that would accommodate any taste or appetite. The fresh fruit was indeed fresh. We also appreciated the breakfast hours until 10:00, as well as a later checkout. Real dishes made the food taste even better.

They have one-bedroom units, which we need because I snore and my wife has trouble sleeping. While there's a separate bedroom, the sound travels easily from the main room to the bedroom, so it's not good for our situation. Also, the bathroom is huge but wierd. The only pegs to hang clothes and towels are above the toilet, far away from the shower. The toilet is very far away from toilet paper storage. The soap dispenser for the sink is on the far side of the vanity top. Breakfast was free but pretty bad. Egg dishes were prepared way ahead of time and were tough, no bacon or sausage, limited choices all around. Coffee was good. On the plus side, the sofa bed is very comfortable, much better than most other hotels. Because of the noise issue (between main room and bedroom) we won't stay in a Home2 Suites again.

I love this property and it was very clean and quiet…I did not like the fact my credit card was charged 3 different times… The regular staff was nice but Manager on duty when I checked in on July 13 was very rude… All I was trying to get answered was why my credit card was charged 3 times and my funds still have not been refunded to my credit card..

We loved all the accessible extras: shower chair; grab bars in the bathroom; higher toilet. The bed was very, very comfortable! That is HUGE! We were a late arrival & we appreciated the quick & smooth check-in. Also your agent called us while we were on our way driving there. So grateful for that so our reservation was held for us. The property was wonderful. So many extras in the room. Home2 will definitely be on our list for future stays.

Booked a King but was originally give two doubles. Books on 6/8 for 7/26 stay. Had to show confirmation proof. Clerk originally didn’t care and handed me keys for the double. As we walked away he called us back to tell us he was able to get us the room type we booked. A little frustrated with him but the rest of the stay was nice. Hotel was very clean and room got nice and cold.

I travel extensively for work and have never had such a mess of an experience checking into a hotel and then dealing with the fallout from billing issues. While the room was clean and comfortable, my experience with the front desk and the management left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't stay here again for any reason.

We had booked a king bed but was informed that our room was given to someone else who wanted a room on the 1st floor. Since it was just for one night, that was fine. But what if it was for longer and we were someone who was taller and needed the king size? Read another review that the same thing happened too.

First time staying at a Home2 Suites, enjoyed it. Will say the pillows were very thin and soft, collapsed a lot, not much support. If you have a "pillow need" then bring your own. Otherwise, a great place, great location, close to L'ville.

Great location for us. In the country yet still 15 minutes to the airport. 20 minutes to Bardstown, 30 minutes to Fort Knox. Cleaning crew under staffed, had to get our own towels, coffee, etc. Big spacious room with minikitchen and almost full size frig. Very quiet and very comfy beds.

The rooms and hotel was absolutely beautiful! And the location was amazing! The only thing I would change is the breakfast. I felt like it wasn’t that good. The cereal and muffin was ok but the sausage and egg could’ve been better. Also I went to get apple juice and water came out instead? We were willing to take that loss though because the staff was super welcoming! I am definitely coming back!!!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, the room was so spacious, the breakfast was good, in a great location to Louisville. I will be back to this hotel. I can’t talk highly enough.

We had an amazing stay! Check in was smooth, the front desk attendant was so kind. Our room was clean, big and comfortable. Loved the extra counter space and the 2nd sink. The pool was a good size. Breakfast was great with a lot of options including parfaits, egg sandwiches, egg bowls and waffles.

We continue to be so impressed with Home2Suites. I prefer a shower over a tub and appreciate the safety bars. Rooms are spacious; beds are comfortable and roomy kitchen is well-stocked. The breakfast has a wonderful variety that would accommodate any taste or appetite. The fresh fruit was indeed fresh. We also appreciated the breakfast hours until 10:00, as well as a later checkout. Real dishes made the food taste even better.

Overall a very good place to stay but does need some improvement. Building was clean with nice amenities and everyone was friendly. Beds were too firm to the point of interfering with sleep. Had an issue with spoiled milk in the breakfast area but the cartons were within date and unopened.

The water to the toilet was shut off. My husband had to turn it on so we could use the tiolet. We booked a 3 day stay and on our 3rd night our keys would not work. We went down to the front desk and the lady working the desk told us it was because we extended out stay. Which we did not. They she said it was because we changed rooms, which we did not. Then she said it was because we checked in early. We checked in after 5pm. She stood there and argued with us instead of fixing our keys. We had spent the day out in the hot sin and just wanted to get a shower and something to eat. She wasted a good 30 minutes of our time arguing.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Wonderful, wonderful staff! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The breakfast buffet was fresh and top notch. The room was beyond EXCELLENT! We said we would definitely be on the lookout for another Home 2 on all of our future endeavors. Thank you, thank you for a great experience!!

This place is new and clean. The suites are lovely and nicely stocked. However, I was woke by lots of noise in the room above me. No one answered the phone at the front desk, so I couldn't even ask to have the noise addressed. Doesn't seem like the staff is paying attention. Also the breakfast food was sitting in grease. Seems like for such a nice Hilton hotel brand, that you all could do better.
