An excellent stay, with very friendly staff. The leisure facilities are a little tired, but still perfectly fine for what you need. Highly recommended and I look forward to stay again.

I was at this hotel for Business for 5 nights, but it was also a great place for after work leisure. The training room and surrounding refreshment areas were more than adequate and the environment is relaxing. Roger who was on the reception for the training rooms was very efficient and accommodating. Thank you The main reception and bar staff are very smart and professional. The leisure side was also very good for the gym, sauna , steam room and pool..

Nice clean room , swiming pool , and kids zone to keep children happy indoor in case weather is bad

Parking availability was limited as they allow people to go on cruises to park there while they are away. Otherwise hotel itself was good - very clean establishment and rooms were a good size.

We had a very comfortable room just above the pool so able to access easily and back to our room to change. The pool needs some sound boards as acoustics was bad. We had a very pleasant stay, many thanks.

Tidy well sized room, staff where great, food was good and the pool and play room for the little visitors was brilliant. Will definitely use again whenever in the area.

Staff are well trained and make all the difference at this property. Staff friendly and chatty with customers. Evening meal excellent Good amount of onsite parking available. Stayed one night for pre cruise. Would definitely stay again.

Generally happy. Enjoyed the spa facilities and room and all areas were clean and a good standard. However, the reception charged me although I had been charged by Expedia already. Having said that it was easy to get my refund once I called the reception.

We just stayed for one night and found the hotel very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, check-in and out were easy and quick.

Bedding was great. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from except sadly their plates and bowls etc were dirty. Had to pick through to find clean ones. I assume their dishwasher is not working properly as food was left on bowls and plates.

Clean rooms great facilities and friendly attentive staff

The room should have never been let . I turned on the shower and the room flooded it had nowhere for the water to go. I told the Chamber Maid who was in the corridor she knew the room flooded and offered me Towels to put down. My Slippers are ruined as they got wet. On reporting it to Reception they said they knew nothing about it.

Chose this hotel as a 4* no where near that. The whole place needs a good in-depth clean, air con the room didn’t work 3 of us in 1 room it was so hot, phoned reception they said they would re set it, which they did then cut off again they just be turning it off! breakfast very average. For the money there are better hotels! Wouldn’t return that’s for sure

Hotel is lovely Well equipped for families and young children. Friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and nice selection but bar food and dinner were poor and quality and taste was bad. Facilities were great, play room and pool but pool changing area was unhygienic. Alot of dirt and hair on the floor.

Housekeeping seems to have dropped. Checked in and the toilet was full of himan faeces. Asked to be moved, and the tub in the second room seemed to not have been cleaned when the previous guest checked out

Kids play room needs a thorough clean along with the steam room smelling like stagnant water. Breakfast wasn’t that great. Positives. Staff were very friendly and accommodating

Emma was professional and helpful during check in. However, there was a disturbance in the room above my room which work my 4 years old daughter up and we were unable to fall asleep.

Good reception, really excellent room (105), most comfortable bed ever. Fitness and pool facilities free for guests. Wifi excellent. Only down side was having to pay for the car park (£5). Cannot comment on food at venue as did not have any there.

Hotel was lovely, very clean, children friendly, only downfall was the room, air con wasn’t working, found it hot in the room at night. And the bed wasn’t comfortable. Staff were welcoming, and helpful.

Loved the family room as it has separate bedrooms rather than all squashed into one space. The restaurant served excellent evening food and the breakfast was continually topped up. The kids room was far too young for our 8 year old but excellent for younger children and loved the milk and cookie bedtime treat voucher! Being able to swim as a family was a huge highlight and my daughter is desperate to return! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good reception service and breakfast Extremely cold in the room 17° and didn't warm up over night. I woke up because it was too cold. We were put in a connected room and on the other side was a family with a baby and kept us up all night as well. Neither my 8 year old couldn't sleep because of the screaming. If they knew are going to be a family with a baby, shouldn't put them in connected rooms because the walls are not sound proof

The customers above us(second floor) were listening to very loud music and vibrating the walls. Ive rang the reception 2 times and ive been downstairs to reception to ask them to do something about, but the things didn't get any better until around 12.30 in the night. Quite few things during the breakfast were running out very quickly and had to wait some time to be replaced (if they still had).

Excellent choice for pre or post cruise out of Southampton. There were 4 of us. We had a room with 2 bedrooms, king size bed in one and 2 twins in the other. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. We used Uber to get around. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Check in was particularly helpful. Staff went above and beyond. Thank you Matthew. Bed firm but comfy, older building that had been impeccably renovated inside, breakfast good, coffee amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer to use the leisure facilities.

The hotel itself is in a good condition. The room was very comfortable and clean. Service was generally friendly and efficient. A couple of niggles though. When booking the room, I chose the Standard room with minifridge. Obviously this was a higher rate. Based on stays at other Holiday Inns offering this same option I confidently expected a stocked minibar but was very disappointed to be told we would only be supplied with a mini fridge.. with no contents. Not even mineral water. Given that other hotels in the chain provide stocked minifridges when this option is chosen, it should be made clear at the time of booking that there will be no contents in the fridge. When I arrived in the room, there was an assembled cot which we had not requested. The reception was quick to remove it when i reported it, only to get a knock on the door within 15 minutes asking if we wanted the cot which they had with them. Some lack of communication going on there. Finally, the breakfast was rather disappointing. OK, the hot buffet was perfectly acceptable but there was no fruit to accompany the cereals, nor any yoghurt. Also there were no peppermint tea bags. Given that the hotel was absolutely packed, generally speaking the condition of the hotel and the service was of a satisfactory standard. We were particularly impressed by the staff assisting a blind guest at the breakfast. However the shortcomings I have highlighted were a little irritating.

Arrived early. Early check in was not possible due to full occupancy the night before. Front Desk gladly granted me access to secure area behind locked door to store my luggage while my wife and I walked around town. Checked in upon our return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Excellent value … nothing bad to say! Great breakfast with something for everyone! Plenty of choice. Special thanks to Dom and Jasmine 👍 fabulous people! Always went out of their way for me and my mum, all the staff were polite and made sure we were looked after but we see something special with Dom and Jasmine. I recommend this hotel 100 percent .. thanks for having us! X

The hotel itself was nice and the room was comfortable. During check-in, the front desk employee was curt and seemed disinterested in helping me. While the hotel facilities were good, the service culture could use some improvement to match the quality of the accommodations. I'd recommend the hotel with the caveat that guests may have mixed experiences with the staff.

The staff in this hotel apper to actually want to serve you. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Ill be back.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though I arrived about 11AM they let me go to my room. Official check in is 3 PM. While in room I lost a gold ring that was found by staff and I am in process of getting it sent to me. All of the staff were extremely helpful. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had and I have travelled throughout the world.

We loved the room and the convenience of having the restaurant downstairs. The staff was unfailingly kind and helpful. Easy access to the airport and the cruise ship port.

We stay at this hotel once or twice per year. It’s a great location while we are visiting friends in Eastleigh

Great hotel in terms of location, and good breakfast choices

No restraunt within walking, especially good for families with young kids. Kids playroom etc.

Convenient to the M27.

We were weiry travelers when arriving back from our cruise. Our room was ready early and we were able to access. So nice. Also we had dinner reservations and the meal was EXCELLENT. We both had an enjoyable and tasty meal. The room was above par and in the morning waiting for taxi, the staff called to make sure they were on our way and offered us coffee. This was at 6:30 am so very much appreciated. We just was really impressed with this hotel.
