The room and property was clean. Helpful check in and staff was sorry kind and great.

The lady that checked me in was very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean thankfully smelled good & clean too. Beds were very comfortable, pillows were not. You get a full size refrigerator, sink and 2 burner cook top. However the hallway reaked of a nasty nauseating food odor mixed with a nasty Marijuana smell which is becoming tiring honestly! I feel like you can't go anywhere anymore you just can't get away from the Marijuana smell. It did bother us that there is only someone at the desk during certain business hours. So nobody is there at night, nobody was there when we checked out, so you put your key on the counter and hope nobody takes it? Although I learned that the day of your checkout once you leave your room your room key doesn't work. Thank God I had all my stuff with me when I exited my room. I had a room key to the other room I reserved that another family member was in and that's how I learned they don't work the day of your check out. Nobody tells you this verbally. Apparently it's in the brochure they give you when you check in, which honestly who really reads through that. Overall it got the job done for what we needed, at least it was a clean comfortable bed/room to lay your head for just a one nighter.

No coffee available at hotel

Extremely clean room and bathroom. Spacious room, nice kitchenette with large fridge and stove. Within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Checked in very late, used phone in lobby as instructed, staff came over before I had time to hang up the phone. Very happy with our stay.

This hotel is utilized by folks as extended stay so some of the folks staying there are living there full time. The rooms are suites with full size refrigerators and kitchens. The bed was only a full - thought we'd be getting a king. The pillows provided were lumpy messes. The towels were thin and rough. The place charges extra for housekeeping or for additional towels. No complimentary breakfast or coffee. No Ice machines. However, the staff who was working the night we were there was very nice and helpful. My partner had sprained his ankle, and she provided us with extra towels without charging and another pillow so he could prop it up. She offered her own ice pack when I mentioned going out to get ice (as there are no ice machines in the hotel). I did not take her up on it, but it was very kind of her to offer. Overall the hotel left much to be desired, but the staff was good. Hotels are expensive in Grand Rapids, so for one night it was fine, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.
