Overall - experience was a good one. Areas of concern * Parking at night is difficult due to restaurant/club next door. * The room fridge has a glass door and it lights up the room. Very annoying. * Shower curtain was filthy and gross. * $5 for a so so continental breakfast, that other places have for free. Come on now. * Balcony had spider webs and bird doodoo. * More pillows please. * First night, room above kept us awake stomping around. Issue not resolved till 2nd night. Other than freeway noise, slept soundly 2nd night. Pros * Bed was super comfortable. * Other than shower curtain, place was very clean. * Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly.

A very , very nice hotel. The staff was the best, so friendly kind, and courteous! Breakfast was very good, but it was not a continental type. The Tropics was next door which provided excellent meals. The only thing that was missed was a pool! My grandson was looking forward to that after being best man for his dad's wedding. I would come back here any time I am in Morgantown.

Bed was super comfortable. Room was very clean with up to date furnishings. Sound proofing was excellent. Parking and unloading the vehicle can be difficult due to the shared parking lot with the Tropics restaurant. The tropics restaurant gets very crowded on the weekend because the food is decent and they have live music. The grounds sit a long a golf course and are very clean

Nice property and the restaurant next store has good food. Staff was great and very friendly. Only complaint was our room faced the highway and there was some road noise from the trucks.

Loved the staff! So sweet and helpful especially the the young woman with long brown hair wore glasses, she crochet's. I wish I could remember her name. Sweetheart! Give her a raise she is trying to make it through college! Had an issue when we got there with hair on the sheets and pillows but it happens and we were taken care of accordingly. My only issue really besides the hair would be the parking. There is a restaurant/bar/live music and it must be one of the most happening place in the area because by 5-6 p.m. your circling to find parking. Wish there was designated parking for just hotel guests. We will most definitely come back!

Parking on weekend was inconvenient due to busy restaurant next door and no marked hotel parking only . Many times had to park far away . Noisy due to highway nearby but as long as balcony room door is shut room decently sound proof . Nice buffet breakfast in am for 5 dollars and super helpful staff refilling and cleaning food area .

Whoever designed these hotel rooms needs a raise or a medal. From the walk-in showers you can switch on from the opposite wall without stepping into the shower stream, to the roll-down blackout window blinds that completely seal off and don’t let in a single sliver of light, to the floating bedside tables, extra storage space under stools, tons of bright lighting with many settings, and sliding bathroom door, these rooms are optimized for cleanliness, space and convenience. Staff was incredibly efficient and kind. We were warned the that restaurant next door might play loud music until about 11:30 PM, but we had a room in the back with no balcony, and from there, we couldn’t hear a single thing. Apparently there were even fireworks going off all night, and I couldn’t hear those, either, despite my being a super light sleeper. We had a very quiet room. I also used their fitness room, and it was clean and easy. Awesome stay. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and all day and night it smelled like rotten eggs...it wasnt until the night before i left that inwas getting ice and smelled it there it has to be moldy water in ice machine. I let one of the cleaners know and i told her this and she said your probably right....this location we stayed at previous year and for a weekend cost aroound 400 or less this year over 900$. We stay here because it is nice but next year for that price we can stay closer to stadium

There was a cockroach in the hotel room, and the security door at the exit of the building onto the parking lot was off its hinges and unable to close. Not a clean or secure property. I highly recommend you do not book this hotel.

We stayed at the Cranberry on our way down to Myrtle Beach. It was a quick 1 night but we were very impressed with style and aesthetic of the hotel (not that that matters, really. We just wanted something clean and comfortable). The beds were very comfortable, but we are a family of 5. This room was advertised as sleeps 5 with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa WAS NOT a bed. When I inquired about the bed, I was told to take off the back cushions and someone could sleep there. We were not provided with sheets, pillow, or a blanket and the staff member at the front desk was eye rolling and quite rude. She didn\'t offer any solutions or try to help us out. In the end, I had to ask for the bedding and again the staff member reluctantly provided them. I\'m the easiest person in the world to get along with, and I\'ll give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a rough day, but really, her level of distain for my requests was unacceptable. Breakfast at the hotel is the way to go. It is $5 per person (kids 12 and under are free). It was buffet style with eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, etc. it was great. It\'s a shame that the bed situation put a damper on our stay. I think advertising this room as "sleeps 5" is misleading.

We had a wonderful time! This hotel is is excellent shape. The rooms are huge! If you are sensitive to traffic noise, don’t stay on the interstate side. Slightly noisy. Very fun restaurant right next door with tiki bars and indoor seating. Hawaiian pizza was Incredible!

Nice accommodations. TV didn’t work except for TBS. Light in bathroom over sink burned out. Missed breakfast due to time change. Would have been nice if breakfast served for another hour.

When I turned on the heat in the room it started smoking and set off fire alarm in the room. I notified front desk and no maintenance was onsite. Slept in a cold room.. When I woke up and made a cup of coffee in the room, the creamer was bad and floated on top of the coffee.. No adjustment was offered by the hotel

When I turned on the heat in the room it started smoking and set off fire alarm in the room. I notified front desk and no maintenance was onsite. Slept in a cold room.. When I woke up and made a cup of coffee in the room, the creamer was bad and floated on top of the coffee.. No adjustment was offered by the hotel

It's a midrange quality hotel that would consider itself a luxury hotel. They must have staffing issues. The same few people do everything. I've never been in a hotel that doesn't service the room daily. I had to ask the maid to service the room and she wanted to know if we were checking out. Beds not made, towels not changed, supplies not renewed. I expected more considering the price.

The staff are off the charts terrific. Alisa, sorry if I miss spelled your name, took care of us like we were family. She is so kind and easy to work with. In fact, everyone, from the housekeeping staff to the breakfast staff to the front desk folks were all wonderful. The rooms are immaculate. The food is excellent. A real surprise in Morgantown, where the hotels are often a little dicey. My wife and I will be back as this is now our go-to Morgantown hotel (which is actually in Cheat Lake!).

Female check in person had an “I just don’t care” attitude about her. Male was pleasant. Room was as expected but road noise was very loud. Power went out at 7:30 pm. Asked front desk for candle or some kind of light. Was told nothing is available. Had also asked for extra pillows for medical condition. Female at front desk said the hotel had zero extra pillows. That was rather absurd. Still trying to figure out why there was no back up generator for a hotel of its size. I’m glad I wasn’t traveling with children. Power came on at 3:15 am. No offer of compensation was made for inconvenience we experienced. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Very engaging and helpful woman greeted me. Price of breakfast was very reasonable.

I travel A LOT for business and for pleasure with the wife. This Cranberry Hotel is one of my favorites for a nice long weekend. This hotel is very clean with friendly staff. Great value for the money, restaurant/bar right beside it. Centralized for all of the activities around Cheat Lake WV.

Overall - experience was a good one. Areas of concern * Parking at night is difficult due to restaurant/club next door. * The room fridge has a glass door and it lights up the room. Very annoying. * Shower curtain was filthy and gross. * $5 for a so so continental breakfast, that other places have for free. Come on now. * Balcony had spider webs and bird doodoo. * More pillows please. * First night, room above kept us awake stomping around. Issue not resolved till 2nd night. Other than freeway noise, slept soundly 2nd night. Pros * Bed was super comfortable. * Other than shower curtain, place was very clean. * Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly.

Parking on weekend was inconvenient due to busy restaurant next door and no marked hotel parking only . Many times had to park far away . Noisy due to highway nearby but as long as balcony room door is shut room decently sound proof . Nice buffet breakfast in am for 5 dollars and super helpful staff refilling and cleaning food area .

Really nice hotel! Hard to believe the room was so affordable. The front desk ladies were so friendly (and very pretty). The restaurant next door, Tropics was delicious, especially the Kali Shortribs and they delivered the food to our door. You can't go wrong with this The Cranberry!

Everything was good! Only a couple minor issues when we checked in. First, there wasn’t a TV remote in the room to operate the TV, called the front desk and a staff member ran one down in less than 10 minutes. Second, the shower handle fell off, and wasn’t an issue but forgot to let housekeeper know. And the third issue was the availability of parking as there is a restaurant/bar that had a band each night that really drew in the crowd. But everything else was great.
