I’ve been to a lot of hot springs and having the private hot tub full of mineral water on the balcony of the room was lovely and essential to my good review. The building is massive with a sweet lobby and the price was right but I have a lot of suggestions and ideas for how this place could be greatly improved. The sheets were 100% polyester- 100% Cotton seems essential for a luxury feel. The indoor pool building feels and smells like a regular pool, I can’t handle chlorine. The one outdoor tub had so much white foam on top that I couldn’t bring myself to enter. Hot spring water doesn't usually foam. People were in the water but we went back to our room. The hiking trails nearby were a bonus with the awesome view of the gorge from Aldrich butte being a highlight. I think overall it’s a nice retreat option with room for many improvements. It also would have been nice to have celiac friendly food options but I think that’s asking for too much.

We went just for the pool and hot tub, and it did not disappoint. They did an amazing job building that area. The outdoor hot tub was not up and running yet. The only downside is the putt putt golf course was not kept up.

All the pools and hot tubs were open along with the bar and restaurant. The outside hot tub was a little cooler than expected but hot tub inside pool house was plenty warm. Enjoyed the cold plunge. Had drinks and good food at the bar. We stayed a king room with hot tub which was clean and comfortable. Hot tub warmth was adjustable up to 104. Friendly staff. Great experience especially considering they just recently re-opened.

The restaurant hours and food is limited. There isn’t a ton around. We did get in late and just made it to order dinner, but they didn’t have a vegetarian main. It’s pretty expensive also, but what we had was exceptionally good. Drinks were good too. We ate in the bar which was nice. We got up too late for breakfast. You also need to book a spa treatment if you want to soak in the mineral water. Unfortunately, since the pool and hot tub are public, they have to chlorinate it. I think they said they do this once a week, but it did not seem overly chlorinated at all and the pool hot tub and sauna was wonderful. We really needed the time away and I look forward to going back. I will definitely book a mineral soak next I time I go.

Very nice staying for a relax trip. Hotel is a little bit outdated but very well maintained. The Outdoor hot spring is very nice and the indoor structure with Sauna, jacuzzi, large pool and kids pool is worth the visit. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricy and other dining options is 10 min driving. Overall is a good place for retreat, worthy to be back. 🙌

The hotel is beautiful, and the area is amazing with lots to see and do. unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed for refurbishment so we could not enjoy and honestly i think that would have made our trip better. the indoor pool area is great and beautiful but in summer heat the last thing we wanted to do was go in a giant steam room of a pool. Also the adults only hours werent followed while we were there. Overall i think this hotel has great potential but i can clearly see that the management is lacking. employees spread too thin or just not able to handle the few guests that they did have. The bar and restaurant were okay, nice to hage on property but wait times were long, food was not great but priced okay so that made up for it. very friendly service, but i could tell they needed to hire more people and get the place going!

We enjoyed everything that was open. We love your beds!! We wanted to use the cold plunge but was closed. Your showers in the main pool were out of service, but we understand that you are just starting to reopen again. Love your main pool and sauna. We loved breakfast in the morning. Our server was awesome!! hopefully you will continue to open the outside rivers fountains and jacuzzi, and cold plunge so we can come back and try.

What an Odd vibe. We understand they are still opening up after being a treatment center but when competing with nearby Skamania Lodge or other hot spring resorts it’s a Such a bummer that the only warm pool is the indoor 105 degree hot tub. The pictures on the website of a steaming outdoor pool are deceptive it was dirty and wasn’t cleaned while we were there, the name “hot springs” is deceiving. If they raised the temp of the large pool temp from 79 to a comfortable 86 we would have happily payed to stay a week and enjoy all the hikes and nature in the area.

I have seen mixed reviews for this property since the reopening. It might not have been the cleanest but it feels like they are in the process of making it better. The outside grounds were beautiful. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. It was so quiet there that we slept in longer than we have in a long time. I will definitely come back soon

Only thing good about this place was the employees and their great friendly customer service. Everything was overpriced and there was cobwebs on the vents and nothing seemed to be dusted for a while in the rooms. Dead bugs in the indoor pool and their only ice machine was leaking and we were unable to get ice for our over priced drinks. Not a very good experience at all. Probably will not be going back.

Pool are needs to be cleaned up. Showers not working at the pool area and also not working in the locker room. Water fountain in the pool area needs to be cleaned. Lots of calcium build up. Unpleasant to drink out of. Grout area around the pool and the jacuzzi needs to be cleaned.

This hotel was beautiful and very clean and welcoming . The front desk took the time to send a message to be sure everything was satisfactory and ask if we had any questions. When I did they answered promptly. We loved the pool and hot tub . Very clean and nice . The food in the restaurant was so good . The chef was an amazing cook . It was delicious, and the wait staff was very good also . This hotel rates 9 out of 10 .

We started spending special days here 3 years before they closed. We recently discovered they re-opened and spent our 39 Anniversary in a King Bed room with the private hot tub, our favorite. It was better than we remembered. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff is very freindly and helpful. One of my favorite features is the hot tub is not overheated. Most places are set at 104F. Here it was 98F. You can actually sit and soak for a long time without feeling too hot. You can actually get some benefits from the minerals. Most places I have to turn the temperature down and wait for it to drop before I get in. Here its like the perfect bath that lasts as long as you want it too. My wife and I could not be happier that out special place is once again open to the public. We will return over and over again.

Loved the hot tubs and really nice floors in the bathroom but when we got here the hot tub was still being serviced and there was a employee in the room even tho it was marked clean when we showed up in the employee was in the room he was sitting in a chair out on the deck no one had vaccumed and there was hand prints on the patio glass sliding door

The entry is amazing and the staff is very friendly and efficient however the rooms are not as outstanding. We had two large bugs in the room which my daughter killed. and there was small pieces of paper in the the top dresser drawer. I would have appreciated a glass in the bathroom. My over all review is the rooms did not measure up to the entry, check in staff and the the beautiful outdoor grounds. Cle

This is a great property tucked away and surrounded by beautiful mountains and greenery. The hotel is slightly dated but still beautiful. Lots of gorgeous wood paneling, loves the staircase and relaxing lobby. Convenient coffe bar downstairs that also had light breakfast options. We ordered food to go for breakfast and dinner. Food was good. We got the pork schnitzel for dinner and we’re really happy! The bar was great too. The drinks and bartender was amazing. We also got a jacuzzi on our balcony which was so relaxing. Bed was comfortable, a/c in the room worked great, mini fridge was good, tv was good and the bathrooms were clean. We got a rollaway bed that was comfortable too. The food is a little pricey. $4 for a croissant, $4.50 for a cookie and as a bit excessive. The pool was perfect. However, not a fan of the adult swim from 8-10pm. Entitled adults harassed us for being in the pool at 7:30. It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. Wish that never happened to me and my family as it ruined our time and made my children feel unwelcome. We would like to come back but not sure we will if they don’t change the pool rules. All guests ahould feel welcome and not scared of being harassed by other people. It was an unfortunate interaction.

When we got to our that was advertised as a King Jacuzzi with mountain view there was no water in the Hot Tub so we had to switch rooms after already settling in. The mountain view is apparently the view of the back of the building which is wooded because there is no mountain. The housekeeping staff was so noisy in the morning in the halls, not to mention the at least 1 inch gap under the room door so you hear absolutely everything. We only stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never came to our room. Fresh towels would have been nice the next day. There is only a mini keurig and a mini fridge but having to switch rooms it was noticed that not all fridges have a freezer. There is one microwave at the end of the hall and considering there restaurant menu is very expensive you need to bring food but there is not a lot of room to keep anything or heat it up. There is one gas station shortly down the road but keep in mind any restaurant or dining in the nearby towns close at 9pm. It was also not disclosed that they are doing lots of renovating so getting woken up to a miter saw was not ideal. I really would have much rather saved the money and stayed at a cheaper hotel considering there is nothing to do here except swim which closes at 10pm and with a jacuzzi in the room we had no need to use the one by the pool. The website advertises Mini Golf but looking at the course that was not an option. We did reserve a massage which while it was good, it was too expensive.

This place was hyped up to be more than it really is. The rooms were fine and the pool was wonderful. I was disappointed when the front desk gal announced my room number as I’m traveling single and did not need anybody else knowing where I was staying. Accommodations were ok. Rooms were sound proof- However avoid the restaurant at all costs worst experience ever! Staff was lacked all customer device skills we We were basically ignored for the first 20 minutes had to ask for water 3 times while wait staff ignore us and chatted in the corner - Another party has an issue with a food allergy issue and they were yelled at by the waitress severs need basic customer service training _ It was so bad it was almost comical.

This hotel was beautiful and very clean and welcoming . The front desk took the time to send a message to be sure everything was satisfactory and ask if we had any questions. When I did they answered promptly. We loved the pool and hot tub . Very clean and nice . The food in the restaurant was so good . The chef was an amazing cook . It was delicious, and the wait staff was very good also . This hotel rates 9 out of 10 .

We started spending special days here 3 years before they closed. We recently discovered they re-opened and spent our 39 Anniversary in a King Bed room with the private hot tub, our favorite. It was better than we remembered. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff is very freindly and helpful. One of my favorite features is the hot tub is not overheated. Most places are set at 104F. Here it was 98F. You can actually sit and soak for a long time without feeling too hot. You can actually get some benefits from the minerals. Most places I have to turn the temperature down and wait for it to drop before I get in. Here its like the perfect bath that lasts as long as you want it too. My wife and I could not be happier that out special place is once again open to the public. We will return over and over again.

The property sits back in a quiet, secluded beautiful area. The facility is going to be very nice once renovations are completed. They just recently opened and renovations on some areas are still in process. The pool area was very nice. My wife got a lot of use out of the hot tub. There is a trailhead on the grounds that leads to several trails of varying length and difficulty. We went on one that ended with a fabulous view of the Gorge. We had a lovely stay and the staff were very friendly and eager to help.

We booked a room with a hot tub on the deck with a forest view, and once we got to the view was of the parking lot. Checked with the front desk and they said all the forest view were of parking lot views. Supposedly the wording is being changed? The hot tub was fine . The actual pool area, and sauna area was amazing and will go back for that. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT! The waitress was amazing but the meal was the worst of my 62 years. The steak was the only thing done right. How can you mess up mashed potatoes? I thought they gave me grits because they were brown with so much butter and the same consistency. I honestly hate being negative, because the spa area was really nice. We will come back but book a standard room and go for the spa and not eat on premise.

The restaurant hours and food is limited. There isn’t a ton around. We did get in late and just made it to order dinner, but they didn’t have a vegetarian main. It’s pretty expensive also, but what we had was exceptionally good. Drinks were good too. We ate in the bar which was nice. We got up too late for breakfast. You also need to book a spa treatment if you want to soak in the mineral water. Unfortunately, since the pool and hot tub are public, they have to chlorinate it. I think they said they do this once a week, but it did not seem overly chlorinated at all and the pool hot tub and sauna was wonderful. We really needed the time away and I look forward to going back. I will definitely book a mineral soak next I time I go.

I didn’t realize how crowded it would be on a weekend; would not recommend a weekend stay. 100% full up. We waited to check in, and ate at the bar - onion rings and chicken strips. Both of us felt sick afterwards, to the point that we didn’t enjoy the hot springs.

The hotel is beautiful, and the area is amazing with lots to see and do. unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed for refurbishment so we could not enjoy and honestly i think that would have made our trip better. the indoor pool area is great and beautiful but in summer heat the last thing we wanted to do was go in a giant steam room of a pool. Also the adults only hours werent followed while we were there. Overall i think this hotel has great potential but i can clearly see that the management is lacking. employees spread too thin or just not able to handle the few guests that they did have. The bar and restaurant were okay, nice to hage on property but wait times were long, food was not great but priced okay so that made up for it. very friendly service, but i could tell they needed to hire more people and get the place going!

No availability for yoga or water aerobics for mid week guests Check in staff admitted they were not trained to use the computer check procedure causing me to wait a long time until another staff person came and assisted with our check in. This wasn’t professional. Spa staff refused to provide the service I requested by phone. Per phone call spa staff reported they couldn’t accommodate a facial, they could accommodate messages, mineral soak and body wrap. I was told I was book for CBD body wrap.When I checked in staff refused to provide body wrap service due to no staff available and that the CBD is included with the mineral soak. The problem is that I had no idea if CBD was added to bath water or what the benefits of CBD in a bath. The person who identified as deck staff (??) disclosed they were the only person available that day and that was the reason they couldn’t provide a body wrap. All of this was not acceptable as the spa gave me appointment time around 10:45. I didn’t show up as a walk in. The message was excellent. To summarize my experience felt like mid week guests aren’t a priority.
