Stay Express Inn North Charleston

Horrible service, bed sheets had cigarette burns and when I asked for them to get changed I was told there was no housekeeping on weekends. The day of checkout they were knocking on my door @8am when check out is at 11. Just horrible over all, I would NOT stay there. ALSO, pictures do not match reality AT ALL!!!

This place should be condemned , shut down immediately!

The second I pulled in there was no doubt I wouldn't be staying at this property. It was trashed & appeared to be very unsafe. I circled around the property to find a man with no shirt and no shoes chasing another man on a bicycle while screaming, cussing and trying to hit him with a stick. There was tons of trash, broken and damaged furnishings & bags of what appeared to be clothing all throughout the parking lot. The "pool" was filled with broken furniture, mattresses & had a tarp on it attempting to cover it. No answer after repeated calls to the property and it appeared to have bulletproof glass at the registration desk. Most of the doors look like they have been beaten in with a sledgehammer. Most windows were broken &/or taped together. I wasn't expecting a luxury resort at the low cost but I wouldn't stay there myself, let alone with my child. Looks like a horrible extended stay property gone wrong! NO I DID NOT STAY OR EVEN GET OUT OF MY CAR! The pics you see AREN'T reality. It should be removed from Expedia.Do not book here!!

Pool not up and running, no breakfast (pretty sure it said breakfast included but not sure) most of the people staying there lived there. Brand new mattresses and showerheads but ever heard the term "Lipstick on a pig"? yeah. that. 100% THAT. Area is unsafe day AND night.
